01/04/2024: Excellent little hotel for great value. Great location near Grand montets and bus stop into chamonix. Lovely service and let us leave our ski gear in their lockers before check in and after check out. Great restaurant underneath as well.

01/05/2024: I came for the first time in January 2023, I had a free-range Thai chicken (a delight) and my partner had tagliatelle with duck confit. I tried his dish and it was killer. I'm going to Italy this week and I made a special stop to eat duck tagliatelle... and once again it's killer.
I love this restaurant, the staff are very welcoming, helpful and very kind.
In short, I recommend with your eyes closed.

05/05/2024: Horrible treatment, it seemed like we were bothering him
With the little French that we know, we ordered two pizzas, and he turned to another who was with him making jokes, we understood that he was ridiculing us.
He asked us if we were going to eat outside, and thinking that there was a terrace, we said yes... When we saw that there was no terrace, we told him inside, and he started to grumble and speak badly.
There were free tables inside and he didn't even let us sit with those
For education, we paid and left
From what you read in the reviews, it seems that he is only nice to the French
Small pizzas, add more ham, grab it!

31/03/2024: We went to the sweet madness of Chamonix for the closing of the 2023-2024 season and we loved it. The dishes were good and refined. Top service and a great atmosphere. No waiting, no pressure. Thanks to the manager and his team for this great evening. We will definitely come back
10/03/2024: What a lovely surprise this place perfectly masters the balance between refinement and authenticity! Our meal would not have been the same without our server Paul who, through his energy, his professionalism and his concern to give us a unique moment, means that we will remember this magnificent meal for a very long time! 21/03/2024: Comfy and cozy little boutique hotel near the Flégère gondola. Totally casual with tasty pizza and beer. Good value, as well. Don't expect much from the rooms, but them- you're not in Chamonix to hang out in your room

09/03/2024: We ended our excursion to the Aiguille du Midi with the cafeteria… extraordinary view but terrible service - the lady who took orders and prepared the drinks was unpleasant, even though there were no crowds and I think I was polite and friendly to… maybe one day without…
08/03/2024: We went there without a reservation because the day before we had been told that even going to the needle could have been complicated...
But we were very lucky, we were able to go up, we had a place in the restaurant and it was frankly very good.
Very well served, you can choose to have by the glass or by the 37.5cl or 75cl bottle...
Thanks to the waitress who was very nice as well as the cook (very good cooking)
We had a great time and had a good laugh, we met Americans and people from Grenoble from Bailleul (they will recognize each other 😉)
It was a wonderful moment because it was to celebrate our daughter's 18th birthday... Thank you again.

14/05/2024: Very well located in Chamonix, the belle époque atmosphere is very pleasant. We took the hikers menu. Consistent value for money. We enjoyed ourselves for 40€. The Reblochon crust and the ice cream were great. The Savoyard hotpot is excellent although a little copious.
The staff is very pleasant.

13/05/2024: After the “Wow” effect upon arrival, the departure is rather “yeah blah”. Mixed opinion. Plus side: atypical decoration, refined presentation of dishes, games room for children. Side -: limited quantity and taste on certain dishes, carelessness of certain servers, very short show (perhaps in the 2nd service, it is longer?). Conclusion: a hefty addition given the services.
13/05/2024: Very good, warm welcome, decoration and ideal setting for a meal.
The only downside is the aperitif which arrives at the same time as our starters. Too bad because the setting is conducive to taking your time.

01/04/2024: Fondue wasn't great but the service was terrible. The waiter was very rude and ruined the full dinner.

Top notch service. I had the daily menu at 16th. On the other hand, there is actually no choice between two dishes. The butternut soup was too hearty and lacked flavor but the duck was very good, the same for dessert (faitselle with red fruit sauce).
Closed terrace which allows smokers and everyone to enjoy it when the weather is good.
Good location right in the city center. PMR access. Children welcome, the restaurant has child seats.

29/03/2024: I'm traveling through the French Alps for 3 months. I was in Lês Contamines, Megève, Argentiele and Chamonix. I love eating cheese, salami, ham, terrines… I went into all the stores I found in the cities I visited and this one has the best service and focus on what the customer is looking for. I really recommend it.
01/03/2024: Highly recommended to take home something rich as a souvenir from Chamonix. You can try the sausages and they have a great selection of products: cheeses, sausages, drinks... The delicious bread too!!
