27/09/2026: Excellent restaurant on the quays in Sète. Friendly staff, very funny owner with his charming accent. We had a wonderful meal.

20/09/2026: Everything was perfect today at Hippy Market. The monkfish risotto delighted my wife's taste buds, and I thoroughly enjoyed the stuffed squid, Sète-style. To top it all off, the staff were very friendly and attentive. Thank you!

17/09/2026: Restaurant with a pleasant view but completely uninteresting. The food is bland from appetizer to dessert, truly tasteless, and the meat is of poor quality. A shame, but we do not recommend it.

24/09/2026: Passing through Sète, I was craving a Turkish kebab, and I'm glad I chose this place. It's very clean, with a wide selection at a reasonable price, and the portions are generous. I recommend it. It's best to park further away because there's no parking available. The restrooms are very clean.

21/09/2026: It used to be a must-visit spot, now it's one to avoid. The kebabs have practically no meat, or just tiny scraps of meat, and are piled high with salad. The staff is unfriendly, and the prices are exorbitant. I don't know what the two brothers were thinking... They've lost a lot of old customers but don't seem to know how to adapt.

09/09/2026: Who are they kidding? A disorganized army of unpleasant, cynical, even aggressive waiters, lost in their orders. We had a terrible time leaving the market on a Sunday at lunchtime.

05/09/2026: Oyster farmers' restaurant opposite the Sète market halls. Guaranteed freshness, reasonable prices, efficient and courteous service, friendly atmosphere. A pleasant lunch!

16/08/2026: A gourmet grocery store with excellent service. A very nice variety of products, a charming and pleasant vintage feel. Thank you to the owner and his sales assistant for their cheerfulness.

Absolutely loved the traditional ✨mussels à la sétoise🐳, so flavorful and authentic. And the 🐟fish and chips🐟, with its golden, crispy batter, is pure comfort food. Here, you come to slow down and savor the moment, the music, and the art. A friendly and authentic spot in Sète, where you simply feel good and leave with a light heart. 29/09/2026: Superb view, fantastic welcome, top-notch waitresses and waiters, and the food was a delight. My partner and I went back three times in a row. We went in September and are going back again this Friday. And when a restaurant's restrooms are clean, the kitchen is impeccable; you can eat there without worry. In fact, the third time we went back for lunch, the waitress recognized us and offered us two Kir and blackcurrant liqueurs for our aperitif. Yes, that made us happy!

28/09/2026: To put it simply… the food was decent, and the service was "French-style," so you have to be nice to the waiters. We still had a good time, though. The rosé was chilled, the sun was warm, there was a lovely terrace, and we weren't in a hurry.

28/09/2026: Nicely situated by the canal, the tielle (a type of savory pie) was uninteresting, the tuna was very good, but where was the cuttlefish in the rouille dish??? We're still looking...

28/09/2026: Note: Dinner service starts at 7 pm, so keep that in mind if you plan to arrive earlier. We had dinner here last night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience: the welcome was very warm, the location is superb, and the view of the river was truly lovely. We started with a drink. Nothing special to say about the beer, but my Aperol Spritz was less than convincing: it tasted more like fruit juice than a proper Spritz. That said, ordering an Aperol in France might not have been my brightest idea. 😄 On the other hand, the food was truly delightful. We opted for the starter and main course. The starters were very good, but the main courses far exceeded our expectations. The mussels with Roquefort cheese were excellent. I had the tuna steak with rice—absolutely delicious, probably the highlight of the entire meal. Given the quality of the food, the price is entirely justified, and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. I highly recommend this place.
