22/02/2026: We had dinner at Taj Mahal in Orléans with my two children and, as always, we weren't disappointed. It's our favorite place to enjoy Indian cuisine in Orléans. The dishes are always so flavorful and aromatic: you truly feel transported to India from the very first bite. For starters, we tried the samosas, which were delicious and perfectly spiced. Then, I had the lamb curry, which was tender and full of flavor, and my children chose the chicken masala, which they loved. The cheese naans and rice were also very good as side dishes. The owner is very friendly and the welcome is warm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. One small suggestion for improvement: perhaps a slight refresh of the decor. But this doesn't detract from the quality of the food or the pleasure we get from returning. A truly excellent restaurant in Orléans that I highly recommend!

09/04/2026: The service and atmosphere were great. The owner was super friendly, as were the servers. There was a bit of a wait for the food, but it was busy, which is understandable. We loved the noodle dishes. I had the chicken butter, which was alright, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. The chicken was a little overcooked for my taste and lacked a bit of flavor. The semolina dessert wasn't to my liking either. However, my in-laws loved it. It was okay, but I don't think I'll go back.

06/03/2026: We've become regulars at this restaurant, which offers one of the best value for money in Cachan. The service is warm and efficient, and the dining room is pleasant. The lunch menus, especially the thali, are tasty and generous, and the biryanis are also very good. We regularly return to this great little neighborhood restaurant.

I was surprised by the very sweet taste of the chicken tikka masala and the flavor of the vegetable rice. The welcome and service were excellent, but it wasn't to my taste, except for the cheese naan, which was delicious.

30/04/2026: Great welcome, helpful staff. I ordered takeout, but I was very disappointed once I got home: the lamb seemed to be beef, with very questionable meat quality. The pieces were strange and unappetizing. After having doubts about the food, I opened my beer (a Desperados) and the smell seemed off, as if it had gone bad. Upon closer inspection, the label on the back of the bottle also appeared damaged or scratched. Being in the food industry, this particularly struck me as odd. Personally, I won't be going back. It's a shame, especially for someone who truly loves authentic Indian cuisine—this place feels more like a tourist trap. AVOID

You can't beat the quality for the price! A special mention goes to the staff and the gentleman at the front of the house who was incredibly attentive and always available. We each had an aperitif, a naan, a starter, a main course, my husband had dessert and coffee, and I had just tea to finish. All accompanied by a half-bottle of wine for less than €90 in total.
