02/06/2024: Living in Japan for 20 years, passionate about cooking, dreaming of opening a French family cuisine restaurant in Japan and originally from Tours, I visited Nobuki for the first time this winter and I was totally amazed. I am often generous with the rating, so I am disappointed not to be able to give it a 10/5. Everything is there. The service, the products, the work of the products, the wine and Japanese alcohol list, the authenticity, the kindness, everything. Even in Japan, you have to hang on to find a restaurant of this level. Yes, it's expensive. But good products, sourced correctly, are expensive. Yes, it's only open at lunchtime, except Fridays, because yes, restaurateurs also have the right to a certain quality of life, and to maintain such a level, we cannot hire staff regardless. how to do anything when the boss is not there. Because yes, a quality Japanese restaurant doesn't operate without its chef, that's how it is. Yes, there is little choice, but you can't source products of this quality and offer 15 dishes, it's impossible. The only negative point, which we discussed with the chef, is that he does not highlight the origin of his products. He does a crazy job sourcing his vegetables and fish, and when a chef does this work, I want to know! In short, doing that in France is not easy, so great respect.

15/05/2024: We came on a Sunday evening quite by chance, and we were not disappointed! The starter/main course/dessert formula is excellent value for money, the products were quality and cooked in an original and coherent manner. As for the service, everything was perfect too. Mention +++ for the cheese cart (especially the Camembert with Calvados 🤤) I recommend 👌🏻

24/03/2024: Very nice address, we had lunch outside on the magnificent old Tours square. Small front of this restaurant, where I ate the best burger, the quality meat, the delicious homemade sauces, we could talk about a "gourmet burger". Then the chocolate mousse with Batak bay, I didn't know, very flavors subtle, the boss after my questioning about this berry brought me some for me to taste and explained to me where to buy them, works with the artisans around him to purchase his products, meat, burger bread. Very professional and friendly. For two drinks, 2 burgers including a maxi, fries (homemade of course!) and two desserts, 66 euros. Good value for money given the quality of the products. I recommend!

21/05/2024: While passing through Tours and given the other reviews here, I absolutely wanted to try this restaurant and without regrets. Everything was perfect and well managed from start to finish. The service is rather fast. The rillette offered as an aperitif is really good. The sweetbreads, whether as a starter or main course, are perfectly mastered. We got around €120 for 2 non-alcoholic cocktails, 2 starters and 2 main courses. However, I give 4 points for the service because the person taking the drink order rushed us to order even though we had just sat down. We asked for time and she came back after only 2 minutes. 06/04/2024: If you want to taste traditional, delicate and authentic French cuisine, this is the restaurant for you. Prices are reasonable. It's perfect. We have been there 3 or 4 times, I have never been disappointed. And I intend to return there. 2 points: Wherever it is located, you would never know there would be such a good restaurant. (thanks to my partner for finding it) Unfortunately, they are closed on weekends from Saturday.
