27/03/2026: A wonderful discovery during a business trip to Roanne. Dinner with a colleague. Delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients. Excellent wine selection. And in the end, a truly extraordinary evening combining good food, good wine, and a warm, friendly atmosphere with two enjoyable hours of respectful, frank, and enriching conversation with the owner, Pierre, who was very generous with the rum. Based on this excellent experience, we highly recommend this establishment. We will definitely return on our next visit to Roanne.

08/05/2026: The hotel is well located and the staff are welcoming. However, we chose this hotel because it has a restaurant, but it seems to have been closed for two years, and I didn't see any mention of this on the website. We therefore had to go to a nearby changing room, but it was outside the hotel itself. Furthermore, there were no power outlets near the bed (or they were very well hidden), and only one bedside table. My partner has a CPAP machine, which we plugged into the bathroom, and I used a chair as a bedside table. Disappointed. On the other hand, the breakfast was plentiful.

16/04/2026: Everything was very good! The perfect egg and its delicious accompaniment, the homemade fries crispy just right, the andouillette perfect, and even if it's not the most important thing I'll add that the plates are beautifully presented, I will come back.

10/03/2026: A great place to get wine advice 🍷. You tell them what you like and the advisor gives you their suggestion... the recommendation from a biodynamic winemaker delighted me.

05/01/2026: Takeaway meals last Saturday: cod fritters swimming in oil and tasteless, mini burgers... also tasteless. Calamari in tomato sauce with olives, not good at all. Very disappointed with this establishment.

25/05/2026: My last visit was at the end of April/beginning of May. I come to this establishment from time to time. I understand that given how busy it is, it can be hard to find a table, but to have the waiter tell me, "What can I do? There are no tables, there are no tables! You should have come earlier..." My partner wasn't exactly thrilled and wanted to tell him privately that if you talk to people like that, you have to take responsibility. (I think the waiter's name was Nathanael or something like that. He wasn't very tall.) Luckily, the security guard saw that my partner was upset and intervened before anything happened between him and this incredibly rude waiter. The bouncer calmed my friend down by speaking to him politely and calmly. He even found us a table when the waiter hadn't even looked for one, and he grabbed a waitress on the fly to take our order. It's still crazy that it was a guy who wasn't a waiter who had to do what was necessary to satisfy a customer. By the way, thanks to the waitress with glasses who was very kind. In any case, we like to come from time to time, but from now on we avoid the waiter who spoke rudely to us, we always make sure to thank the bouncer for his kindness and professionalism, and we try to be served by the young lady with glasses. Otherwise, apart from this incident, it's a very nice establishment.

23/05/2026: Excellent service, special mention to Stan who took great care of us, but the whole team is fantastic. Great atmosphere and in Roanne it's hard to find better.

10/02/2026: No politeness, no welcome, no atmosphere either, this restaurant is definitely one to avoid... We walked in, nobody greeted us, someone came out of the kitchen and didn't even say hello... really unacceptable... And the tacos were really bad, very disappointed, disgusting taste tonight... we won't be back. That's for sure.

03/02/2026: It's currently 9:17 PM and I've tried calling several times because it says the store is open, but there's no answer, it just rings on repeat. I went there and realized it was open. You've lost a customer.

02/05/2026: The calf's head with gribiche sauce was excellent. The service from the waiters was top-notch. The price reflects the quality. I highly recommend it.

23/03/2026: Disappointed with the croque monsieur with blue cheese or Roquefort, as we weren't informed beforehand about the cooking time and the presentation was rather shriveled... the bread remains the favorite at this establishment. The service is quick and rushed, despite the polite sales staff. Taking care of customers is fundamental to the business, I believe. I understand the need to be fast, but a little more empathy would be appreciated.

01/02/2026: Everything is awful: bread, pastries, pizzas, sandwiches. Feuillette is BETTER.

08/05/2026: Let me tell you, this is a really good place where the galettes are delicious. The welcome is very warm.
