27/07/2026: Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. On several occasions, empty plates remained on our table for a long time without being cleared. And yet, it was a very quiet evening; the restaurant wasn't even painted. When I asked the waiter to remove them, he responded very rudely, accusing us of waste. He insisted several times, in a disrespectful tone, in front of everyone.
However, it wasn't intentional waste. I had simply left a soup that I hadn't liked, although I had eaten half of it. There was also some food left over that the children couldn't finish, which can happen in any restaurant. We absolutely did not try to take advantage of the "all-you-can-eat" concept. In fact, I myself am very sensitive to food waste.
The waiter's lack of respect completely ruined our meal. It's a real shame, because good service is just as important as the quality of the food. For this reason, I will not return to this restaurant.

11/07/2026: Really cool place. We went last night and had a great time. It was quite noisy outside because there was music playing, but we went inside and it wasn't a big problem. The servers were very friendly 😊.

21/06/2026: Frankly disappointed.
We placed our order at 7:44 PM and it wasn't delivered until 9 PM! We weren't notified of the delay. A bottle of Coke as compensation seems very inadequate for a €60 order!
In short, next time, please make arrangements to inform customers of extended delivery times, especially when they have children!

22/07/2026: Hi. I eat kebabs all over France. I travel a lot. This restaurant is unique right now. The cleanliness is superb. The real deal. Generous portions. Full of flavor, the bread is a whole other story. Perfectly cooked and crispy. It's a rare gem. I'd gladly travel another 50 km just to eat this kebab. Delicious. Absolutely amazing.

21/06/2026: Music Day! I have to say, it was 8 PM! Honestly, it was far from being crowded! I waited 40 minutes for my meal (chicken steak with three lightly grilled vegetables). My wife ordered a charcuterie board for herself and our two children, but we never received it despite several requests to the waiter! So I bought fries for my children and wife from a stand so they wouldn't have to watch me eat. We asked for the bill without paying for the charcuterie board! It's not that complicated to bring out a charcuterie board.
Frankly, we won't be going back.
12/06/2026: A wonderful evening and an excellent dinner. Go without hesitation... or rather, with your eyes open to soak up the atmosphere! 👍

29/06/2026: Truly disappointed! After booking online at noon for 1:45 pm, we received an email confirming our reservation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, a waitress initially told us the restaurant was full, before informing us that the cooks had finished their shift. Not wanting to make a scene, we left without even being offered a glass of water. During a heatwave, that would have been the bare minimum. Of course, at that hour, it was very difficult to find another restaurant.
However, a big thank you to La Taverne Alsacienne, who were kind enough to welcome us without a reservation despite the late hour. Their hospitality saved our lunch. A very disappointing experience, especially when a confirmed reservation is not honored and no solution or compensation is offered.
28/06/2026: All that's missing is something to nibble on when we have drinks.

22/06/2026: Excellent meal at Central this June 2026, varied flavors and very good value for money, I recommend it
14/06/2026: We returned to Le Central for dinner during our visit to Roanne. We received a very warm welcome, the service was good, and the restaurant is beautiful, spacious, and traditional—not to be missed.
The food is good and prepared with care using fresh ingredients.
The menu is small, which makes choosing easy and ensures homemade dishes.
The orange risotto with curry cream was very creamy. My husband and I would have appreciated an extra minute of cooking time, as the rice was much too "al dente." It's a shame the rice is served spread out on a large plate, but the waiter told us... that's how Mr. Troisgros prefers it.
The confit sturgeon was cooked to perfection; we simply added a pinch of fleur de sel.
The strawberry dessert was light.
As last year, we had a lovely evening.

The air conditioning was great.
A small fridge would be a welcome addition, especially during the summer months, as would an extra mirror in the room.
We missed breakfast, which was served until 10 am – tough after a party! And we had already paid for it, which was non-refundable at reception.

Fast service. Large and varied menu: tacos, kebabs, pizza, paninis, bowls...
No disposable tableware.
Homemade fries.
Highly recommended.
29/04/2026: Rubbery pizzas! Few ingredients and watch out for runny cheese, I almost ended up in the emergency room, a real rip-off at 15 euros a pizza...it's not that hard to put yourself in the customer's shoes and you don't need a degree to make a good pizza, absolutely avoid.

20/07/2026: Good food, special mention for the desserts which were delicious! It's a shame, however, that the pike quenelles weren't served with a side dish, like just a plate of rice for example.
16/04/2026: Everything was very good! The perfect egg and its delicious accompaniment, the homemade fries crispy just right, the andouillette perfect, and even if it's not the most important thing I'll add that the plates are beautifully presented, I will come back.

25/05/2026: My last visit was at the end of April/beginning of May. I come to this establishment from time to time. I understand that given how busy it is, it can be hard to find a table, but to have the waiter tell me, "What can I do? There are no tables, there are no tables! You should have come earlier..." My partner wasn't exactly thrilled and wanted to tell him privately that if you talk to people like that, you have to take responsibility.
(I think the waiter's name was Nathanael or something like that. He wasn't very tall.)
Luckily, the security guard saw that my partner was upset and intervened before anything happened between him and this incredibly rude waiter. The bouncer calmed my friend down by speaking to him politely and calmly. He even found us a table when the waiter hadn't even looked for one, and he grabbed a waitress on the fly to take our order. It's still crazy that it was a guy who wasn't a waiter who had to do what was necessary to satisfy a customer. By the way, thanks to the waitress with glasses who was very kind. In any case, we like to come from time to time, but from now on we avoid the waiter who spoke rudely to us, we always make sure to thank the bouncer for his kindness and professionalism, and we try to be served by the young lady with glasses. Otherwise, apart from this incident, it's a very nice establishment.

10/02/2026: No politeness, no welcome, no atmosphere either, this restaurant is definitely one to avoid... We walked in, nobody greeted us, someone came out of the kitchen and didn't even say hello... really unacceptable...
And the tacos were really bad, very disappointed, disgusting taste tonight... we won't be back. That's for sure.
03/02/2026: It's currently 9:17 PM and I've tried calling several times because it says the store is open, but there's no answer, it just rings on repeat. I went there and realized it was open. You've lost a customer.
