They even provided a small bowl of water for the dog.
07/08/2026: This was my first time eating at Le Rempart. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly.
However, I found the service a bit slow: we waited about 20 minutes just to be served our aperitifs, while people who arrived after us were served much sooner.
The meal was good, but I don't think the value for money is exceptional.
It's also a shame that the staff weren't always smiling; that would have made the experience more pleasant.

01/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! It was our first time there. The setting is simple and pleasant. The service is discreet and efficient. The meal was a delightful succession of dishes. The ingredients are high-quality and expertly prepared. Excellent value for money.
We will definitely return to savor all the other tempting dishes. Well done, and don't change a thing!

11/07/2026: Really cool place. We went last night and had a great time. It was quite noisy outside because there was music playing, but we went inside and it wasn't a big problem. The servers were very friendly 😊.

29/06/2026: Truly disappointed! After booking online at noon for 1:45 pm, we received an email confirming our reservation. Unfortunately, upon arrival, a waitress initially told us the restaurant was full, before informing us that the cooks had finished their shift. Not wanting to make a scene, we left without even being offered a glass of water. During a heatwave, that would have been the bare minimum. Of course, at that hour, it was very difficult to find another restaurant.
However, a big thank you to La Taverne Alsacienne, who were kind enough to welcome us without a reservation despite the late hour. Their hospitality saved our lunch. A very disappointing experience, especially when a confirmed reservation is not honored and no solution or compensation is offered.

20/07/2026: Good food, special mention for the desserts which were delicious! It's a shame, however, that the pike quenelles weren't served with a side dish, like just a plate of rice for example.
16/04/2026: Everything was very good! The perfect egg and its delicious accompaniment, the homemade fries crispy just right, the andouillette perfect, and even if it's not the most important thing I'll add that the plates are beautifully presented, I will come back.

It's a real treat for the taste buds!
The staff is lovely.
We also bought a few grocery items and some fabulous bread.
19/07/2026: There were six of us for our wedding meal. The bill, however, was far more substantial than our plates. The chef tries to offer refined cuisine, which is a plus. On the other hand, the portions are ridiculously small. The sirloin steak on the "Joli Menu" was nothing more than a thin slice of meat. The "30th Anniversary" menu lacked balance: tomato as a starter, tomato with the fish, practically the same sauce. It felt like eating the same dish from beginning to end. The service was disastrous: unfriendly, cold, and unapproachable waiters, without a single smile. The dishes were placed on the table without a word. No presentation. No explanation. We had specifically mentioned that it was our wedding. We weren't expecting fireworks, just a little human warmth. We will not be repeating the experience.
