16/04/2026: Wow, what a wonderful couscous! The semolina is perfectly fine, the flavor is amazing, everything is just right. It's truly excellent; I almost failed to give it 5 stars, it's well deserved. Homemade! A homey atmosphere. Friendly service and smiles. Come!

28/04/2026: We went to Cafe de Paris for a meal last night. We chose it because of its rating and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is located just under 0.5 miles from the Cherbourg marina. It is in quite a central location which is very convenience for us as we are moored up at the marina. The staff were very polite, helpful and professional. The food was fabulous. The dishes appear to be in the small side but trust me, they are big enough if you are having a 3 course meal. I must say the fish soup I had for my starter was absolutely delicious. Probably one of the best. The fish dumpling for my main course was also very special. But if you are not a fish person I recommend the lamb. The desserts were beautifully presented and of course very tasty. I love watching the red wine being decanted from the bottle. If we come back to Cherbourg again I will certainly be going back to eat there again.

The owner's response: I'm just trying to increase the number of customers to compensate for the slower days, at the expense of service... No comment.

07/04/2026: After several unsuccessful attempts to call and dreaming of that marshmallow chocolate egg, I decided to travel to Cherbourg. I politely mentioned that I had tried calling several times without success and that I was there hoping to taste this marvel. The bespectacled woman, around sixty years old, told me that several had already been ordered and would therefore need to be made the next day. Full of hope, I asked her if it would be possible for me to order one as well, and even offered to pay for it in advance. Well, it was a resounding "no," even though she had initially asked me how many I would need. Thanks for the unnecessary trip that could have been avoided if someone had answered the phone, and for the others who were able to order but not me. What top-notch service and friendliness! I should point out that it says they are open continuously all day, and I did pay close attention to the opening hours.

12/01/2026: Restaurant that does not respect its hours, indicated open until 11pm on Monday, no one to answer the phone at 9pm, arrived on site at 9:30pm, restaurant closed.

17/05/2026: As soon as we were alone, we wanted to leave immediately. We were seated on the four-person bench, which was very cramped and uncomfortable. The service was just about acceptable, the food wasn't very good, but in the evening I had a terrible stomach ache and vomited everything I ate. So much for hygiene! I won't be going back; it's just a tourist trap. People who eat there often must have the palates of Dobermans. The floor was slimy. I don't like to criticize a place, but just the fact that I vomited disgusts me. I don't know what kind of garbage I ate, but I hope the restaurant closes for the good of the people and tourists.

10/10/2025: Perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful salmon, served with a creamy mushroom sauce and delicately sliced ​​leeks. Perfect flavors, a beautiful presentation, and a bright setting overlooking the harbor.

17/05/2026: We came in for a very pleasant surprise this lunchtime. The lady who greeted us was smiling and extremely kind. The restaurant was clean and quiet, with soft music that created a relaxing atmosphere. As for the meal, it was delicious! Absolutely succulent! It delighted our taste buds with every bite! The chef shouldn't change a thing; it's a real treat. The value for money is excellent, with a three-course meal (starter, main, and dessert) for €28.90! I highly recommend it! Thank you very much.

17/05/2026: The restaurant is well located on the port. The view from the upper floor was lovely. The set menu (starter, main course, dessert) was reasonably priced. The fish soup and seafood sauerkraut were enjoyable. It's a shame the service wasn't up to par... we had to ask several times for the correct cutlery. Dishes were brought to us, but the plates weren't cleared.

25/05/2026: Friendly staff, clean and well-located restaurant, however, even if it's the franchise's policy, you really feel the need for profitability at all costs as the number one priority, and it somewhat ruins the experience. Having to beg for a measly sauce for fries because the kiosks only offer one sauce, for example... And 9 times out of 10, when I order, the sauces are out. I'm not asking for the moon.

29/01/2026: 10/10 Best burger in France! I visited at 6.30 on a Thursday, I had what looked to be the first Guinness of the evening and it was really really good. The staff were amazing. I've been loving in France for over a year and bacon an cheese burger is my go to anywhere I go , this was by far the best bacon and cheese burger I have experienced in France!! The fries were also really amazing!! I can not recommend this place enough! It was quiet at 6.30 on a Thursday , but honestly I can't understand why. My partner had the classic burger and she also agreed the food was amazing! Thanks for the service and amazing food!
