The chef brilliantly rose to the challenge of creating two vegetarian and two classic versions of the Janne menu for our table, all while preserving the harmony and spirit of the original menu. Once again, it was a true sensory journey. First, the eyes are filled with wonder, then the aromas awaken the senses, before the flavors elevate the palate… to pure ecstasy. Thank you to the entire Pily team for this wonderful experience, for your creativity, your delicacy, and your incredible ability to surprise us with every bite. 09/08/2026: We came to Cherbourg for a holiday and to explore the area, but I was a bit disappointed with the service, which I found completely unprofessional. The waitresses were clearly drinking right next to us. I ordered a glass of dry white wine, and they served me a semi-dry one. When I told them I knew a lot about wine, they even had the nerve to tell me they didn't know why they'd given it to me because it was "disgusting." A bit disappointed, I won't be back.

However, the chairs for dining weren't great; I left with a slight backache. But overall, a very good place to stop without hesitation.

21/08/2026: While on holiday in Cherbourg, we were won over by the Gascon and mountain galettes – absolutely delicious! But a word of advice: reserve them in advance, otherwise… you're unlikely to get to enjoy them.

23/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. We knew the previous owners. Their menu was excellent. We discovered the new crêperie. Immediately, the manager criticized the previous owners, praising the quality of his own products. The implication was that everyone else's were bad. The profiteroles were served without chocolate sauce, even though it's a key ingredient in the recipe. To get it, you had to pay extra—outrageous! The crêpes had very little filling and tasted like cardboard.

22/08/2026: Great little crêperie! A warm welcome, friendly staff, a small fireplace for grilling meat, and excellent galettes and crêpes. I highly recommend this crêperie; remember to book in advance.

28/08/2026: Very friendly staff, very warm welcome. A beautiful place and the meal was very good and very generous. We were greeted by the waitress Flavy with a smile; she was a very pleasant person. Thank you for the welcome and best wishes for the end of the season.

18/08/2026: We came for a drink and a cake. We waited and waited for someone to take our order. No one did; the waiter ignored us. We ended up leaving without ordering anything. And then the shopkeepers complain that downtown Cherbourg is becoming deserted.

29/08/2026: What can I say about this restaurant? We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary here, and honestly, having tried almost every restaurant in Cherbourg, Le Carabo is by far the best we've ever eaten at. It was so delicious! The service, the ambiance, and the dishes were all impeccable. Not a single grain of salt or pepper was needed; the meal was truly exceptional. A huge thank you for this culinary journey!

13/08/2026: I wanted to treat myself to a nice meal out and chose Sequin. And I'm so glad I did! The service was excellent, the food truly delicious, and the dessert was both elegant and original. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. What a shame I live so far away!

31/07/2026: The best restaurant in Cherbourg! Unbeatable value for money: I've always eaten very well there, at a more than reasonable price for the quality of the food! Whether it's the bistro lunch menu or the more elaborate dinner menu, it's always a delight! Never disappointed, I recommend this place without hesitation!
