However, a bad experience with an unfriendly waiter who, moreover, refused to acknowledge the billing error: two complete wine pairing menus, one of which was alcohol-free, were charged at the same price, contrary to the prices listed on the menu. Check your bills!

12/09/2026: For discerning food lovers like us, the "Pily" experience was breathtaking and exhilarating. The freshness and perfect balance of textures were simply stunning. Each dish was a work of art. The wines, whether original or wonderfully complex, were always a perfect complement to the food. The staff was attentive, quick, and efficient. In short, THANK YOU to the entire team. A perfect 10/10 is well deserved.

19/09/2026: While visiting the Cité de la Mer, we had lunch there. A great find! Despite the crowds, the perfectly managed service allowed us to be seated quickly and enjoy some excellent food. Generous portions and impeccable service.

27/08/2026: Beautifully and centrally located. Very attentive service. Absolutely reasonable prices, especially for the daily specials. The food is very good and the portions are perfectly adequate. The seating is a bit cramped, but that's typical for Normandy...😊

23/08/2026: Avoid at all costs. We knew the previous owners. Their menu was excellent. We discovered the new crêperie. Immediately, the manager criticized the previous owners, praising the quality of his own products. The implication was that everyone else's were bad. The profiteroles were served without chocolate sauce, even though it's a key ingredient in the recipe. To get it, you had to pay extra—outrageous! The crêpes had very little filling and tasted like cardboard.

22/08/2026: Great little crêperie! A warm welcome, friendly staff, a small fireplace for grilling meat, and excellent galettes and crêpes. I highly recommend this crêperie; remember to book in advance.

21/08/2026: While on holiday in Cherbourg, we were won over by the Gascon and mountain galettes – absolutely delicious! But a word of advice: reserve them in advance, otherwise… you're unlikely to get to enjoy them.

29/09/2026: What a disappointment for a restaurant listed on La Liste! Dishes were too salty, some items were missing from the menu, the side dishes were identical for both meat options, and the service was extremely slow (the glasses of wine arrived at the very end of the meal). I regret it for the price.

05/10/2026: Very disappointed with our experience at Café du Théâtre. We had booked a table for 10 people at 8 pm for my leaving party. Barely 20 minutes after arriving, we started to feel rushed and pressured to leave, with comments about the kitchen closing soon and the staff being in a hurry. After asking why, we were told that the team wanted to close early for a colleague's birthday. We understand that a birthday is important, but in this case, it would have been normal to let us know beforehand. We had come to have a good time and ended up feeling like we were bothering them and were simply being asked to leave the restaurant, even though we had a reservation. On top of that, there was a €2 room service charge per person, even though I had been told on the phone that there would be no extra charge, as well as the issue of the after-dinner drinks, which were initially advertised as complimentary but were ultimately charged. An evening that was supposed to be a lovely parting moment, but which we will unfortunately remember with great sadness.

13/08/2026: I wanted to treat myself to a nice meal out and chose Sequin. And I'm so glad I did! The service was excellent, the food truly delicious, and the dessert was both elegant and original. The atmosphere was cozy and pleasant. What a shame I live so far away!

31/07/2026: The best restaurant in Cherbourg! Unbeatable value for money: I've always eaten very well there, at a more than reasonable price for the quality of the food! Whether it's the bistro lunch menu or the more elaborate dinner menu, it's always a delight! Never disappointed, I recommend this place without hesitation!

09/09/2026: A small, convenient, and friendly restaurant, ideal for a midday lunch break. The food is good, simple, and satisfying, even if it's not exactly gourmet or haute cuisine. Its biggest strength is the speed of service: perfect when you're short on time. Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable and competitive for the city center. A great everyday spot for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal!
