17/02/2026: I tried the summer truffle pasta and it was simply delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, the truffle was present without being overpowering, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. A wonderful discovery, I highly recommend it!

14/02/2026: Hello, I wanted to give an exceptional review of this place that has forever changed my life. I really appreciate the young waiters who enthusiastically explain the dishes. I highly recommend the culinary experience this restaurant offers. I want to give special mention to the waiters, Lorenzo and Bastien, who are the best there! Big shout-out to the team!

06/02/2026: I've been hearing about Fémina for years, and either my expectations were too high or they don't know what a truly good couscous is. The hostess's welcome was icy cold, and we almost felt like we were bothering her (even though there were only 5 customers in the restaurant). Our questions about the menu were answered curtly; we ordered couscous and a kebab—and were told we'd have to wait 40 minutes for the fries that came with the kebab... the bottle of wine was corked and the bread was stale... Admittedly, the restaurant's decor is exotic and the owner was friendly and very smiley, but unfortunately, we came to eat a good couscous and that's not at all what we got :-(

04/03/2026: Excellent, warm welcome and helpful advice. The dishes are generous and delicious; a real treat from start to finish! The restaurant is ideally located, just steps from the Prado and the Vélodrome. I highly recommend it!

28/02/2026: Excellent service, generous portions, a clean, intimate atmosphere with soft lighting. Perfect for a romantic meal.

15/03/2026: This pastry shop makes you feel like you're in another era with its retro music and those delicious sweets to enjoy with a cup of tea during a short break.

24/02/2026: Hotel very well located. Generally, the staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room wasn't cleaned and the sheets weren't changed during our four-day stay. Even after mentioning this to the manager on the third day, it should have been done, but the cleaning staff only made the beds without changing the sheets. The coffee cups remained dirty on the desk throughout our stay. The bathroom was adequate. Breakfast was excellent. Very noisy both inside and outside. Poor bedding, badly damaged parquet flooring, and dirty walls.

20/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, seasonal produce, everything is fresh and seasonal. Kudos to the chefs and the exceptionally friendly waitress. I highly recommend it.

28/12/2025: I don't usually leave reviews, but if I could give this a zero, I would. Disappointing place, disgusting menu, appalling service, unsmokable shisha, and the clientele leaves much to be desired for a restaurant in the 8th arrondissement. A disappointment, a place to avoid.

09/02/2026: On February 9, 2026, I went back to Kaena in Marseille for the first time in almost 20 years. What a great idea! I had merguez couscous and Alain had meatball couscous, and we split it half and half. It was delicious. Impeccable service, and the cherry on top was seeing the former owner, whose son has taken over the business. The whole package! We won't wait another 20 years to go back because at my age, I won't be around anymore...😁 Thank you for the quality, the service, and the atmosphere. Keep it up! 👏👏👏 By the way, someone mentioned a poor welcome at the counter? I didn't see a counter. That person must be confusing it with another restaurant. I saw the owner and the waiter; they're both very friendly and welcoming... I must say, we're friendly too... 😉😁

04/03/2026: The setting was exceptional, no complaints there, and the service was friendly. But personally, I found the dish bland; the salmon en papillote was truly unremarkable, which was a shame.

01/03/2026: So disappointed. Catastrophic service. The food arrived cold and inedible. No apology, no compensation. What a letdown.
