26/09/2024: The Crêperie Moulin du Roy in Vannes is a real gem! The pancakes are delicious, filled with fresh, local products, and the sweet crepes are simply perfect. The warm and authentic setting, as well as the friendly welcome, make the experience even more pleasant. A must for lovers of good Breton cuisine!

02/01/2026: I had a bad experience a few years ago... For the sake of simplicity and efficiency (I work nearby), I went back. And I'm so glad I did! A fantastic daily menu with fresh, not frozen, dishes, contrary to what I'd read. An excellent waiter. During my 3-day break, I ate lunch there three days in a row. Bravo!

12/12/2025: I love this place; it's comfortable, and the food is good, even if the sandwiches aren't very generous or large—I think they'd benefit from making bigger paninis. The iced teas are delicious, and they often have new coffee recipes. The loyalty card is a nice little bonus with small gifts that make you want to come back!

01/12/2025: A very good coffee shop from the Columbus chain. The service is very well organized; several orders are taken simultaneously by the staff, who are very attentive, friendly, and welcoming. And the chai latte, the seasonal cinnamon version of which was recommended to me by one of the servers, was excellent. Thank you again for your hospitality :)

10/09/2024: Awful service. Spoke my best French and asked for a table for one. Despite there being a small table outside, I was taken indoors without asking, unlike the couple in front of me who were given the choice. I was looking forward to a sweet crepe but it was clear from the waitress’s expression that this was not expected. I didn’t understand her response so said in French I’m sorry, I don’t understand. She said, ‘It’s not breakfast!’ They don’t open for breakfast so I assume this was sarcasm as the menu didn’t specify times for food. After I asked if it was possible, she pulled a face and said she would do it. I then chose a verbena infusion from the menu to which she said, non. I selected menthe instead and got ‘non’. It wasn’t the fact they couldn’t do these things but the very rude approach. At this point, I’m very pleased to say I got up and left and found the most delightful creperie around the corner with beautiful outside seating and super friendly staff, Les Joséphine, which I am about to review with 5 stars. They happily served me a delicious sweet crepe and verbena infusion.

09/12/2025: This review has nothing to do with the location or the food, just basic courtesy. I came to the aid of a young woman sitting on a bench in front of the train station who was being harassed by a homeless man. After this traumatic experience, the young woman was clearly terrified and panicked! She had to wait another 30 minutes in front of the station for someone to pick her up (I offered to walk her home, but she preferred to wait). So, I offered to buy her a drink of her choice at this establishment so she would be safe! Without knowing the situation and without wanting to expose it further to the public eye, I politely asked the person behind the bar, a small woman with short hair, for a Coke. She explicitly replied, "I'm not taking any more drink orders; I'm going to start my shift." So I explained what I just told you, and she said, "She should stay there; I'm going to call the police." At no point did I ask for that; at no point did I want to make a public scene and embarrass the young woman even more than she already was. So I told her, "No, I just asked for a Coke, and I'd like her to stay there for 30 minutes!" The woman served me the Coke with a disillusioned air and said, "Well, she can sit there," still with the same contemptuous look! I have a question for you, madam: if it had been your granddaughter, would you have reacted the same way? Even better, if it had been you, you would have appreciated my approach, wouldn't you?! So never forget, especially in 2025, that women today face daily, or at least frequent, harassment, particularly near train stations! So when you're asked to be human, be human! It's not too late to make good resolutions for 2026! We can all change and grow! Take care of yourselves, and I wish you happy holidays despite everything! 🙏

14/09/2024: Ce n'est pas la première fois que nous allons dîné à la brasserie bleue ... Nous y apprécions l'accueil le service et la cuisine ... Et ce soir encore nous n'avons pas été déçus... Le service est très agréable, décontracté mais très professionnel. On est à nos petits soins avec gentillesse et bienveillance. Ce qui devient de plus en plus rare. Nous avons eu la chance en plus de bavarder avec la directrice du restaurant qui est très souriante et sympathique . Nous avons passé une très belle soirée Merci à toute l'équipe

14/03/2025: Just before booking, I called the hotel to find out if the hammam was working (following a Google review which said it had been being installed for 3 months). They tell me yes yes it works. So I'm booking for the following week. Bingo, the hammam is broken, the bell is very low-end (Japanese version, with electric resistance every 50 cm at the level where you sit). In short, this spa area is a scam. The gym, ridiculous. So I let them know the same evening, they told me ok you will have a commercial gesture. The next day: nothing, too bad for me. A 4 star? No, absolutely not the standard. he got these 4 stars for the "room service" with 4 dishes available which fight in a duel. So when we say false information, we assume it, and if we say a commercial gesture, we do it. It's not the small hotel around the corner after all! In short, I won't go back.

26/02/2025: Beautiful duplex room, very clean and very quiet. The hotel is very well located, just a stone's throw from the historic center of Vannes. The breakfast was excellent. Very professional staff. We particularly appreciated the way the staff (floor and reception) handled the fact that we had forgotten a valuable item in our room. The package was sent very quickly by registered mail, and they made a quick phone call to make sure we had received it. A big thank you for their professionalism and efficiency!
