30/09/2026: An Italian restaurant with excellent food and delicious desserts. No complaints there. But the staff was dreadful, and the order management was slow and disorganized. We'd been seated for a good ten minutes, and no one came to greet us (even though we were at a table in the aisle). I politely called over the man who seemed to be the owner, asking to order a drink. He curtly replied, "Well, they'll come," glancing towards the waiters. As for the other waitresses, we either had a rather unfriendly waitress who took our order well, or a reasonably pleasant waitress who didn't know which dishes were still available in the kitchen, or the guy who took our payment who didn't know what we'd ordered. In short...

23/09/2026: We had a reservation at 12:30 PM, and by 1:30 PM we still hadn't been served. I asked about our order because I had to be back at work at 2:00 PM. A few minutes later, a cook came to our table to tell me there was a wait, that "if you don't have time, you should go eat somewhere else," and that it was disturbing for me to look towards the kitchen to see the status of my food. When a restaurant is only open for lunch on weekdays, you have to expect that some customers will come during their lunch break and have time constraints. I can understand that there might be delays in the kitchen, but the way they spoke to customers is unacceptable. Our food finally arrived around 1:40 PM, which forced me to eat in a few minutes and be late for work. Furthermore, one of us was left without a side dish, and we never received it. I was offered a drink as an apology for the delay, but unfortunately, this didn't make up for the lack of consideration. Especially since, after returning to the kitchen, I heard the same cook say "a generation of busybodies"... A particularly inappropriate remark after the way she had just spoken to us.

Our communication went from French, to German, to Dutch, to English; everything was done to ensure we understood each other, which was very nice! The food was delicious, the wine was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly! A wonderful evening; as far as we are concerned, 6 stars if we could give them! Highly recommended for everyone, French speakers or speakers of other languages!

The atmosphere is fantastic, and the knowledgeable staff gave us great advice on choosing drinks. We also want to thank Berthom for their wide selection of beers!
