11/08/2026: As usual, let me explain the context of my review: my wife is Iranian and regularly cooks divine dishes from her country. We go to every Iranian or Afghan restaurant we come across, and La Fabrique is one I highly recommend: it's fresh, homemade, well-cooked, and, to top it all off, the portions are generous, including the desserts... the gormeh sabzi is the best I've had outside the restaurant, so venture off the beaten path, give it a try, and succumb to the guilty pleasure of Persian delicacies.

31/07/2026: Excellent restaurant and really inexpensive! The service was very good, they offered a complimentary kir with the appetizer, and the chicken tiakka masala was truly delicious.

31/07/2026: This is a real genuine review! The food is great, we generally eat Indian food in the UK and this was very similar. The bhajis were OK but the sheek kebab were excellent. As others have said the cheese naan was surprisingly tasty. I had lamb biryani which was lovely as was madras and vindaloo options. Service was relaxed and good.

13/08/2026: A wonderful discovery, both in terms of Ethiopian cuisine and meeting the owners, who were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It's not just a job for them, it's a passion, and it shows. This kind of cuisine is becoming rare. We truly appreciated the authentic, warm, and traditional atmosphere. Moreover, the value for money was excellent considering the generous portions; we were completely satisfied. I highly recommend it! ☺️👌

27/08/2026: I visited this restaurant during a recent trip to Metz. The downstairs section was packed on a weekday evening, while the upstairs section was closed, so unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy the terrace view mentioned in several other reviews. We ordered matar paneer, dal makhani and garlic naan. The food was tasty, and the quality of the mains was particularly impressive. However, the portion sizes are on the smaller side. The menu is also quite limited, with not a lot of variety to choose from. As is common in many Indian restaurants across Europe, complimentary rice is served with the mains. The rice was decent, although slightly undercooked for my preference. The dal makhani was not quite what I would expect from a traditional dal makhani and was closer to chana dal, but it was still good in taste. What stood out most was the overall quality of the mains we ordered. Overall, I would recommend this place, particularly for the quality of the food, although I would have liked to see larger portions and a more varied menu.

As a regular, I'm never disappointed, whether by the quality of the food—always excellent—or by the service provided by Ludovic in the dining room, who demonstrates impeccable professionalism and great kindness. I highly recommend this restaurant, which will transport you to Japan for an hour or two.

22/08/2026: We came this evening with my two daughters and my partner, and we had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional; I've rarely eaten such good meat (beef fillet) cooked to perfection. The chef is a master; it's so rare these days to find such good food. The waiters and waitresses were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special mention goes to the manager who encourages young staff by giving them a chance; the apprentice was very smiley and very kind. We're not from the area, but one thing is for sure: we'll be back! Fast service, excellent food, super friendly staff—everything was great. See you very soon! And thank you! 😁
