Everything is perfect: the lightning-fast service, the beautiful decor, the friendly staff, the delicious and affordable food (the vegetarian couscous is only €12! and the oriental pastries are divine), the calm and pleasant atmosphere, and a special mention for the adorable cat who comes over for cuddles.
And no need to book, you wouldn't think so, but there's a very large room in the back.
Verdict: I'll definitely be back! 🤩

Wonderful food and atmosphere. The Onion Bhaji, Chicken Vindaloo, Aloo Gobee, and Palak Paneer deserve a special mention.

Very disappointed with the quality; they are completely unfit for consumption. Please take the necessary steps.
12/01/2026: A very bad experience. The sandwiches were excessively expensive for such poor quality: no flavor, nothing special.
The service was unpleasant and unprofessional. Furthermore, the wait was far too long, even for sandwiches and fries.
Frankly disappointing and frustrating. I do not recommend it.

19/01/2026: The starter was decent, the main course was great, but the dessert wasn't great, the cocktail was bland, I expected Indian music but there wasn't, and the decor was basic! The owner, however, was very friendly! The price for a meal for two was reasonable!
09/01/2026: I love Taj Mahal! Their tikka masala is excellent and the portions are generous. Special mention for the cheese naan as well. I highly recommend it and go back regularly.

24/06/2025: I don't know how to describe the dish in front of us...nothing to do, near or far, with anything so-called Indian... A Maggi soup with a few pieces of unseasoned chicken... They're making fun of people here, it makes you want to file a complaint. Judging by the comments, stop doing takeaways if that's what it's for. It's a crime, you should be banned from practicing and if I were Indian I would be ashamed that my compatriots would do such a thing.

29/01/2026: I ordered the vegetarian falafel and it was truly awful and tasteless. The cream they use has no flavor, the balls and vegetables have NO TASTE whatsoever, and the bread tastes bad. I don't understand it. I'll never buy it again. Yuck! I wasted €10 on one falafel. :(

25/08/2024: Nice place, nice terrace, pleasant service. Very average food (my grilled sea bass really wasn't) and in the end, with a bottle of Chablis at 37 euros (!) the bill was too high. It was a nice "canteen", it has become a "classic" restaurant. Go there when it’s too hot in Paris!

07/12/2025: The best couscous in Paris, period. Not only are the portions generous, but the prices are unbeatable. Plus, the servers are incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant. One of my top 5 in the 17th arrondissement, even for lunch.

Delicious food, nice decor, friendly staff. You really feel like you're in Tunisia.
I lived in the neighborhood 25 years ago, and the restaurant was already good. I've since moved, but I never miss an opportunity to go back when I'm in the area.
