So, on this autumnal day, there is nothing better than starting your lunch with a delicious Tchaï, which smells of Indian spices 🤩! For main course, I opted for the “Nehari” (simmered lamb in sauce) which is the restaurant’s specialty. It is eaten with Basmati rice or Parathas (Indian breads) The quality/price ratio is very interesting!

This restaurant, which offers Lebanese products, has a small indoor room to eat on site for those who wish. In good weather, however, it is recommended to take away to eat in the sun in the gardens of the Palais-Royal. The manager is very friendly and efficient, even offering a few little extras to customers who usually come to eat at his place (a dessert for example). As for the products, all are really excellent, the sandwiches are prepared on the spot in front of customers with fresh products. They are also very substantial for the price paid (around €9 for a sandwich). The starters and desserts are also excellent (€1.80 for savory turnovers or Lebanese pastries). Everything is perfect, worth trying for fans of Lebanese cuisine!

22/08/2024: Very pleasant discovery of fish couscous that I had never had the opportunity to taste: a generous fresh hake steak accompanied by equally fresh mussels and shrimp, all simmered in a traditional couscous recipe. The result is tasty, the vegetables having been cooked in a fish broth giving them a particular flavor. Always well-dosed spices leaving these characteristic North African flavors in the mouth. Note, it is so rare, ideal cooking of hake gives it a firm texture. Dish to absolutely discover. For fans of traditional couscous, note that the imperial couscous was still just as succulent. Finally, a special mention for our host who is always so kind and attentive and a big thank you to the chef for all the talent he displays.

23/09/2024: Top, pas d'autres mots. La formule chez Ammad n'a pas vraiment changée depuis 20 ans pour le plus grand bonheur des habitués et des clients de passage. Ici c'est à la bonne franquette, les boissons ne sont pas chères, le patron est sympa et des gens de tous horizons se retrouvent pour passer une bonne soirée, tout simplement.
