15/11/2025: I was in Lille for a business trip and tired this Pakistani restaurant. The food was quite good the flavours were real and authentic. I ordered keema matar with garlic naan. I also tried lassi but it was just average. Overall the food and ambience are very impressive I will recommend this place if you want to try Indian Pakistani cuisine .

17/02/2026: We were left wanting more, both literally and figuratively, after our four-course lunch at Bloempot. Knowing Chef Ladeyn's reputation, we came with high expectations, but unfortunately, disappointment prevailed. The portions are truly tiny, even for a fine-dining restaurant. Perhaps we were simply unlucky with this month's menu. The first starter was interesting, as was the second. However, the main course was a letdown: a very small piece of pork loin, with more fat than meat, and a very limited portion of red cabbage (two leaves at most). The dessert didn't particularly impress us either. The service was friendly, but lacked professionalism considering the prices. We regret that, in some new-generation French restaurants, service sometimes seems to be undervalued in favor of a "rustic" or "casual" style. For example, there weren't enough plates to properly enjoy the first starter. At this price point, we expected a more attentive service, including in the presentation and attire of the staff.

16/02/2026: A superb experience. The place is cozy, charming, and ideal for a romantic dinner. The service is impeccable, and the dishes and drinks are beautifully presented by the staff, who clearly know their dishes and flavor pairings. The entire menu is harmonious, generous, and above all, absolutely delicious. I can't wait to go back and try another menu!

24/02/2026: Went there by myself looking to try out their Welsh and it was really good. I tried the Chti Menu to get a full tour of local specialties, best idea I had tonight. I paid 25 for starter/main dish/dessert which was pretty affordable but if you choose independently, it could get a little expensive. Service was really nice and fast, much appreciated. First floor doesn't have much space but you don't feel cramped, rather comfy, with nice vintage and wood decorations. They also have an outdoor terrace and another floor so there's definitely space for you to come and try out their specialties.

13/11/2025: A true neighborhood gem, the kind you rarely see. Gabbro, on Rue Saint-André, immediately exudes warmth: the communal tables make you feel like you're surrounded by friends or family. Simon welcomes everyone with genuine kindness and truly takes the time to share his passion. The wine selection is incredible, but above all, you feel right at home. A truly wonderful place.

12/02/2026: We loved it! Very friendly, fast service, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. I really appreciate that you can get a platter with several different sauces; it's original and lets you try everything! My husband is allergic to shrimp, and when the platter arrived, we noticed it had a shrimp sauce. We hadn't realized, but when we let the server know, he very kindly changed the platter and put chicken on it instead. That was really thoughtful of him! The naan were excellent, generously filled with cheese, and served piping hot. Honestly, nothing to complain about, 10/10 in every way.

14/01/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lille. The food is excellent, the steak with eggs is delicious and high quality. Be sure to save room for dessert: their walnut tart is incredible! A real treat in a very pleasant brasserie atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

03/03/2026: I went to the toilet, but it was in a pitiful state. Never go to that bar because if the toilets are dirty, it means the dishes are too. Brown stains everywhere on the toilet, and the hand dryer was covered in mold underneath! Is it normal to have toilets like that?

11/03/2026: A very nice restaurant and bar located near the metro entrance. The staff is very welcoming and attentive to customers. If you're feeling peckish or thirsty, the food is excellent and very reasonably priced. There's a great atmosphere with the other customers. I highly recommend it.
