Les meilleurs restaurants en Chantilly

09/12/2025: Le Vertugadin has become a traditional stop for me at the start of a weekend in Normandy. Located a stone's throw from the stables of the Château de Chantilly, this French restaurant remains a sure bet. The service is dynamic, friendly, and efficient: nothing to complain about. The cuisine is excellent, with a real selection and high-quality ingredients, perfectly executed. This time, I opted for the set menu; the value for money was truly competitive for an establishment of this caliber. I had previously ordered à la carte and it was a delight, but on the other hand, the prices quickly add up: the Tournedos Rossini alone, I believe, exceeded the price of two complete set menus (starter/main course/dessert + drinks). It's a very good place. The only slight drawback: the decor. A mix of antiques, vintage finds, and more modern, sometimes surprising, elements (special mention to the men's restrooms…surprising, original, but not in the best taste), creates a somewhat cluttered impression and doesn't really tell a coherent story. It's a shame, because the quality of the food deserves a more harmonious setting. That said, the spacious dining room and the terrace in summer are a real plus. An address I still recommend for the quality of its cuisine and service.

07/12/2025: A pleasant and very good restaurant. The atmosphere and the welcome were warm. There was a wide selection of dishes, starters and desserts, and everything was really good.

09/12/2025: Very good and affordable dishes (by French standards). The only downside is sometimes the wait between ordering and eating. I recommend making a reservation if you want to eat inside.

07/12/2025: Lieu très sympa pour boire un verre ou manger. Les plats sont maison avec de bons produits à un prix très correct. Le petit bémol un petit changement de cartes de temps en temps serait pas mal.

11/05/2025: Very nice discovery! The staff is truly exceptionally kind, warm, smiling, and always attentive without being clingy. We feel that they love what they do and it shows in the atmosphere. And on the plate side, it’s just excellent: dishes full of flavor, well prepared, with quality products. Nothing to complain about, everything was great from start to finish. A big thank you to the team, I will come back with pleasure!

02/12/2025: My family and I stumbled upon this place by chance, as all the other restaurants were closed, and it was the only one open continuously. We absolutely loved it: the welcome was excellent and the food delicious. It's ideal for those who want to take their time visiting the Château de Chantilly without worrying about finding somewhere to have lunch. I loved everything: the service and the food, 10/10! I will definitely be back this summer; I already have my favorite spot.

27/11/2025: The crepes are simply superb: generous, flavorful, and made with high-quality ingredients. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste—a real treat! Plus, the prices are reasonable, which is a definite bonus. The service is also warm and very friendly. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return.
