28/03/2024: Berhillon, or the institution of Parisian ice cream parlors, is a must to enjoy magnificent ice creams and sorbets. The prices are affordable and the quality has remained for 80 years. The ideal place to enjoy a gourmet moment and high quality products. To do, redo or simply discover. Never disappointed, ad vitam addict.

28/03/2024: What can I say that hasn’t been said!! I went there when I was 20, I returned there 50 years later and succumbed to a mixture of frozen chestnut ice cream and fresh pistachios......and I regret all the others!!😍

I came for the first time with my parents and it was a magnificent experience, what can I say about the decoration which transports us to another era. The managers are very respectful and offer quality cuisine, I would come back without a shadow of a doubt. Thank you for your generosity and your smiles.

10/05/2024: This place was highly recommended by a Parisian friend, and we had high hopes. While it was good, it was not as great as we were hoping. For starter, I had the asparagus soup, which was delicious. For my main, I had the fillet mignon, which, much to my surprise, was almost cooked "well done." I always like beef cooked medium rare and never had to be too specific about this in France, but this was an unhappy accident (maybe its because they seem to be catering mostly tourists that ask for disappointing well done steaks ?). For dessert, I had a chocolate cake, which was a massive disappointment - dry and unremarkable - something that would only be fit if this would be someone's first cake. The service was great, and the sommelier gave us some very good recommendations.

01/04/2024: Where to start? Having a very high rating on Google and therefore trusting the reviews, my husband and I decided to have our fill in this “restaurant”. However, what a surprise! Firstly, we had seen on the internet that “formulas” were offered, when we arrived we learned that these simply did not exist. Then, the steaks (requested medium rare) were not cooked, the fries were more than limited. The welcome was ANYTHING but warm. The price is certainly interesting but for a few euros more, you will undoubtedly find better elsewhere!

07/03/2024: The scoops of ice cream on the Normandy tart are put directly with the hands by a waitress who has just collected money. Very limited for hygiene. And regarding this waitress, to avoid, not at all happy that the customers take the crepes menu (that's the height). In this case, don't offer it. She speaks loudly and complains about customers to everyone.

23/02/2024: Utterly delicious food and friendly service and great value. An excellent end to our week in France. And a bargain considering the surrounding area and potential for overpricing. I had vegetable soup, risotto and tarte au pomme. Family had crepes twice. Owner is spectacularly patient and friendly with multiple French guests in situ too (always a good sign). Quiet and friendly atmosphere for an hour or two on a Friday afternoon. I can only apologise for my son’s request for ketchup… the first time it’s been requested with crepes in her 20 years work at the cafe. Oh the horror!!! Thanks so much.
