30/11/2025: Really disappointing for the standard of the cheap - gnocchi with red pepper at €25 - about ten gnocchi on the plate but no peppers - the manager tells me it's stuffed - I confirm there is no trace of red pepper - the team is not up to the price of the dish.

27/10/2025: A new experience at La Table de la Grande Épicerie (1st floor). Okay, let's be honest, the bill is rather steep. But the service is impeccable (Sunday, October 26), and the dishes are excellent, especially the chicken fricassee with porcini mushrooms. The decor is very pleasant, under the atrium, comfortable and cozy.

16/11/2025: Very disappointing for a restaurant in the Southwest. No dishes or appetizers featuring foie gras were available, no pork confit, no Montbazillac pâté—nothing that defines the region's culinary identity. Coming to a restaurant specializing in foie gras only to end up with a huge plate of simple green salad and a piece of meat is unacceptable and certainly not the reason for our visit. The reservation had been made 24 hours in advance for 8 p.m. The excuse that "everything was ordered" is not valid. Furthermore, despite his friendliness, the only waiter present didn't even know what the dishes were made of. Under these circumstances, it would have been better to refuse the reservation or, at the very least, to give advance notice.

08/11/2025: A joke! Unfortunately, it wasn't very funny considering the poor quality of the food and the prices. The reviews must be misleading to such a high rating. We strongly advise against going there; it's a disgrace to customers and to the image of Southwest France. Food lovers, stay away!

19/05/2026: Unfriendly rude staff. Terrible food. The main server started yelling when we told him we were not satisfied about the food.

22/05/2026: My sister and I are from Belgium, and we had a terrible experience at this restaurant. We initially wanted to sit down for a drink. We were refused, told we had to order food. We politely agreed. But before we'd even sat down, the waitress asked us curtly, "What's it for?" We finally sat on the terrace and ordered a charcuterie board, soup, and a smoothie. The waitress remained icy and responded bitterly. At one point, as the sun was very strong, I sat next to my sister to get some shade. The waitress immediately came back to tell me, "But you can't sit like that." I replied, "What if I faint from the sun? What will you do?" She responded, "You chose to sit on the terrace." She didn't like my answer and left. To top it all off, the food was inedible. The soup was full of bits of bread, and the smoothie was bitter. We left everything. The bill came to €65 for this disastrous experience. I strongly advise against this restaurant. Unpleasant service and very poor quality food – far too expensive for what it is.
