12/06/2026: The café is very pretty and well located, but I had a bad experience. I ordered one coffee and after 15 minutes, still nothing, so I left. I realize that in the very upscale 7th arrondissement, one coffee might not be enough, but in this case, they should have said so. It's a shame.

12/06/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed my meal ‘Menu Tour du Monde’. It was incredibly delicious. However, what made my meal all the more delightful was the amazing staff member named Amal. Her recommendations and descriptions were so very helpful. She is the best!

30/11/2025: Found this wonderful, inviting restaurant on my solo walk to the Eiffel Tower. I had the Prix Fixe dinner: spring rolls, Thai Beef with Basil, and the most scrumptious coconut flan with coconut icecream. I also had one the specialty cocktails and it was so delicious (don't remember what it was called, but it was green magic)! Truly one of the most unexpected and delicious meals of my week in Paris! By the time I left the restaurant at 9:30 pm, it was completely packed with mostly locals. That's a great sign of a popular place. Highly recommend this gorgeous and top quality restaurant!!

27/11/2025: During our stay in Paris we tried Villa Thai the first time and came back a second time Because the food was so amazing. Personally this was the best Thai food I’ve ever tried. I highly recommend them if you’re in Paris. You won’t be disappointed! Their customer service is 10/10, as well.

25/04/2026: I like the atmosphere, which feels like a local neighborhood bakery. The selection consists of breads with good value for money, and overall, the taste is excellent. The coffee was smaller than expected and tasted average, so next time I will skip the coffee and just buy bread. On my second visit, I bought the sesame-filled baguette recommended by the staff; it wasn't hard, but soft, incredibly nutty, and delicious. The young, tall, and thin Black woman I met every morning seemed a bit reserved at first, but she was kind and gentle on our second visit, which made me feel good! As expected, the feeling you get from the taste of the food and the attitude of the staff is important when traveling. I recommend the leaf-shaped apple pie; it was really delicious! The long, baguette-shaped chocolate bread was a bit dry for my taste. The chocolate croissant and traditional baguette were both delicious. Even though I bought a lot, the prices were so cheap compared to Korea that I had the magical experience of spending less than 10 euros.

30/03/2026: Stopped by on the way to the Eiffel Tower, tasted several items including apple pie, baguette sandwich, vegetable pizza, Pain chocolate, honestly tastes better than some of the YouTuber recommendations . Great place with friendly owner. 5 min walk to the Eiffel Tower perfect place to grab some food for picnic.

04/07/2026: Avoid this tourist trap. Like many of the places next to the Eiffel Tower, it exists only to exploit tourists. I ordered a prix fixe breakfast with my three little daughters at the table with me. The place was nearly empty and I asked if my little girls could have some tap water. The waiter told me “only paying customers get water” and refused. Cafe Gustave represents the worst of Paris. It’s actually illegal to refuse a customer tap water in Paris, and immoral during an unprecedented heat wave. There are many other options that deserve your business. Avoid this hovel.

12/06/2026: Last night, my husband and I had the pleasure of experiencing L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in Paris for the first time. Over the years, we have had the opportunity to dine at the Hong Kong location several times. This Parisian visit was therefore a long-awaited experience. And we can say without hesitation that this iconic restaurant fully lived up to our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with exemplary professionalism. What particularly struck me was the intelligence and attentiveness of the waitstaff. During our conversation, we shared our memories of the Hong Kong restaurant. The staff immediately understood our references and thoughtfully offered us a variety of breads. In addition to the excellent traditional French breads, some of the choices subtly evoked our Hong Kong experience. This kind of detail may seem insignificant, but it demonstrates a true sense of hospitality and remarkable attention to detail. Throughout dinner, the service was impeccable: attentive without being intrusive, warm without ever losing its elegance. The conversations with my husband about the wines and food pairings added a particularly pleasant dimension to the evening. As for the cuisine, each dish was refined, perfectly executed, and generously portioned. I began with the "Foie Gras," one of the restaurant's new creations. The cooking was remarkable: a light caramelization on the surface, while the interior retained all its delicacy and creaminess. A dish rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. To accompany this starter, I chose a 2015 Pinot Gris Vieilles Vignes Fondation from Domaine Josmeyer, a prestigious family-owned winery in Alsace. This wine, made from old vines, reveals, after many years of aging, a great aromatic complexity, magnificent fruity notes, and a beautiful minerality. Its size and elegance paired beautifully with the richness of the foie gras. A combination I will remember fondly. For my main course, I chose the Black Cod. The fish was exceptionally tender, melting in the mouth, with precise seasoning that perfectly highlighted its quality. My husband selected the Prime Ribeye Steak, accompanied by confit baby shallots and a meunière sauce. The meat was superb, cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of character. Every bite expressed the remarkable quality of this exceptional cut. We also sampled the Chef's selection of matured cheeses. The quality of the cheeses was remarkable, offering a beautiful diversity of textures and intensities. This tasting provided an ideal conclusion to our meal. Among the many memories of our Parisian stay, this gastronomic experience will certainly remain one of the most memorable. The quality of the cuisine, the perfect wine pairings, the professional service, and the attention to detail perfectly illustrate what makes a truly great gastronomic establishment. An address we wholeheartedly recommend. ★★★★★ This evening also reminded us how gastronomy, culture, and sharing can bring people together. The French, like the Chinese, love life, appreciate peace, and know how to recognize the beauty of simple moments spent around a good meal.

09/04/2026: The place is clean and the outdoor seating isn't stuffy. Unlike many places in the area (and the city), where people eat in each other's arms, here there's plenty of space to enjoy a good pizza. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We'll definitely be back.

06/07/2026: The worst service and a first-class lack of consideration. I ordered a carafe of white wine and a cheese board to share with my wife. The wine was barely chilled. The waiter, without a word, practically threw a plate with a few pieces of cheese and some stale bread onto the table. I told the waiter that this plate was pathetic, and he replied that it came from the kitchen like that and that I should only ask the owner, who was no better, suggesting that although the plate lacked garnish, I should be satisfied that the portion was generous and of good quality. He did, however, offer to put the carafe in ice. My wife wanted to leave the table, and I deeply regret not having done so. A word to the wise.

04/07/2026: The welcome wasn't very pleasant. The staff was surprising and categorically refused to serve tea—despite it being clearly listed on the menu—claiming they "don't serve hot water." You definitely get the impression you're bothering them with every order. The only positive point: the service was very fast.
