17/04/2026: Well, it's done! After talking about it for so long, tonight we went to the Aquar'Aile restaurant. When the elevator dropped us off upstairs, it was... Wow! A magnificent view was a feast for the eyes. Then the menu and its various dishes made our mouths water. Pollack for me, carbonnade for him—a real treat for the taste buds. (Just a minor point for us: the carbonnade lacked spices, like our grandparents used to make.) But honestly, the view, the quality of the food, the service—it was a wonderful evening. Thank you, I highly recommend it! 😊

16/11/2025: Haven't rated the food as we didn't eat here. The restaurant was busy and when we walked in not one staff member attended to us, we had to literally stop a member of staff to ask for a table for 2. They just shrugged and pointed to a table of 6 nearby. We then had to get more attention to get menus. Then again to order to be told there was no steak left in a rude way. So we just left. There was a noisy atmosphere and a bit pub like at the bar area which didn't make it feel like a restaurant. It is a big place with 2 floors, but they need to have enough staff to cope with the size they can cater for and train their staff better. Whilst we were waiting I noticed others also struggling to get attention and quite a lot of food left on plates, which is bever a good sign.

08/07/2025: We had a wonderful time. The joy of a good seafood platter. Very pleasant waitress. Attentive staff. Top-notch location. I recommend booking or not arriving too late to request a table. It was very busy, which is a good sign 😉

06/07/2025: Passing through Calais to board a boat for the UK, we stopped at this place. Nice, fresh, tidy and clean environment, friendly and kind staff. We ate really excellent Moules Marinieres, generous portions. I highly recommend it. From the Aire de Camping Car it can be reached by a convenient pedestrian path. We will definitely stop here on the way back.
