26/07/2026: A truly excellent discovery! The cuisine is refined, elegant, and perfectly executed, with absolutely delicious dishes. The portions are also incredibly generous: beautifully presented, full plates, which is particularly appreciated for food of this quality. We also loved the cheese trolley brought directly to our table. The different cheeses were presented and explained to us before we were allowed to choose the ones we wanted to try. It was a thoughtful and very pleasant touch! The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. Finally, the setting is magnificent, with large bay windows offering a superb panoramic view of the sea and Calais beach. A wonderful experience, both for the food and the service and the ambiance. We will definitely be back!

12/07/2026: When you order a sandwich with bacon, there should be bacon in it, not just any bacon. It's lukewarm, rationed, the fries aren't peeled, it's low-quality food.

31/07/2026: Good evening, I just picked up an order (I've never been disappointed before...) but this time! I waited almost 25 minutes for an order of two meals, and when I got home, both burgers were hard and reheated, the nuggets were dry, and the onion rings were burnt inside and out!

31/07/2026: Numerous glitches with the ordering system, 40-minute wait. The manager was very responsive but offered no compensation.

09/04/2026: Traditional pub. A clientele of regulars, but tourists are very welcome! Large selection of beers. We didn't eat. Cédric and Axel (Alex?) are friendly and helpful. We come back every time we're in Calais.

05/08/2026: Today, we waited an hour for our order (thankfully several people decided to cancel theirs). We ordered at 8:50 PM and were served at our table at 9:50 PM... However, Uber Eats and drive-thru orders were given priority and received no wait. People who arrived much later received their orders before us—a major organizational problem. Furthermore, the free gift included with the children's meal didn't even match the Paw Patrol ad; we were told we hadn't received it. Our table wasn't cleaned. The manager was nowhere to be seen, and there was no attempt at compensation. Avoid at all costs!

05/08/2026: My wife went through the drive-thru today. We sat down to eat, The sandwich from the menu was missing. We tried calling repeatedly, but there was no answer. SHAMEFUL! SHAMEFUL! Working in Calais, I will come to your restaurant tomorrow to get the sandwich I paid for but didn't receive. I also hope for some kind of compensation, the least you could do. I absolutely do not recommend this restaurant. Florent Bogaert

16/11/2025: Haven't rated the food as we didn't eat here. The restaurant was busy and when we walked in not one staff member attended to us, we had to literally stop a member of staff to ask for a table for 2. They just shrugged and pointed to a table of 6 nearby. We then had to get more attention to get menus. Then again to order to be told there was no steak left in a rude way. So we just left. There was a noisy atmosphere and a bit pub like at the bar area which didn't make it feel like a restaurant. It is a big place with 2 floors, but they need to have enough staff to cope with the size they can cater for and train their staff better. Whilst we were waiting I noticed others also struggling to get attention and quite a lot of food left on plates, which is bever a good sign.

The portion was generous, the meat was tender and flavorful, the fries were excellent, and the salad was wonderfully fresh. You can tell the ingredients are prepared with care, and the value for money is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. 14/07/2026: This restaurant offers good sole meunière with a good selection of mussels. We like to go there as a couple and as a family, although lately the quality has been a little below what we used to expect.

30/07/2026: My girlfriend and I had lunch at Café Le Mirador a few days ago and were unfortunately not at all satisfied. Upon our arrival, the server was already visibly annoyed, but still quickly handed us the menu. We ordered the Welsh Burger and the Welsh Complet, each with fries. What we received was a Welsh Burger with a burnt fried egg and a Welsh Burger with almost raw meat. We were also surprised that we received one shared bowl of fries instead of our own, as planned. The salt dispenser was also empty, and the Welsh Burger had a very strong beer/alcohol taste, which was rather mediocre. When there were small children in the restaurant, the server turned on the TV for them and showed them a children's show. That's all well and good, but turning the TV up so loud that you could barely hear yourself speak and not even asking the parents is, in my opinion, more than questionable. Another thing worth mentioning is that Russian music was playing in the background the whole time, and it was very loud. We definitely don't recommend this place and we'll never be coming back. 28/07/2026: We ate on the terrace of this well-located restaurant in the city center. We chose our dish from the tablet (handy since you can see a picture of it): a very good, simple, and satisfying fish and chips! The service was quick and friendly! We recommend Le Mirador!
