Les meilleurs restaurants en Calais

14/09/2026: A big thumbs up to Alicia, Greg, and Valentin for their kindness and professionalism! It's always a pleasure to go to Le Calice! The setting is idyllic and the food is high quality at very affordable prices.

09/09/2026: I had never been to Le Chalice, even though I live in Calais. Since the change of ownership, we wanted to try it. Pleasantly surprised! A varied menu with options to suit different dietary needs. The staff are so kind! We will be back.

29/09/2026: Had fondue bourginonne, what a fab way to have a meal. Friendly service and good food what more could you ask for

29/09/2026: Good crepes, coffee and delicious ice cream 😋

12/09/2026: I was on the verge of being attacked by the homeless man in the entrance of the shop.

09/09/2026: I asked if it was possible to have an Oat milk coffee. I was told it was, so I ordered one… it looked to me as if it was made with dairy, so I asked confirmation about the milk… I got confirmation it was oat milk. I took two sips to find it wasn’t… so for someone with a simple lactose intolerance that’s alright, I’ll deal with my sore stomach and the annoyance. But I can only imagine what people with milk allergy might have had to deal with if stopping by this place.

14/12/2025: Never disappointed at this place. The homemade cassoulet with fries was superb. Always pleasant service!

05/08/2026: Very nice owner super service ! Good food and the kids got a toy 😍 Price food quality and quantity was awesome

18/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A huge thank you to this restaurant owner for the warm welcome and the quality of the food! The portion was generous, the meat was tender and flavorful, the fries were excellent, and the salad was wonderfully fresh. You can tell the ingredients are prepared with care, and the value for money is excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness; we will definitely be back! 👏🍽️

15/04/2026: Huge place with so many products to choose from. Great bakery and plenty of fresh bread and cakes. Can get busy at the checkouts but that's to be expected. Definitely worth a visit if you want to stock up on a wide range of goods.

12/04/2026: There's no cashier at the gas station and no way to get help if you want to pay in cash; plus, the diesel is poor quality.

15/09/2026: Visit this restaurant couple of weeks ago from UK food was tasty.

12/09/2026: The food has a very mild flavour and the couscous has nome at all, even the vegetables themselves didn't pack any flavour. The dishes were very oily and watery at the same time meaning that they washed out what little flavour there was. For a cuisine that is normally packed with flavour, this came as a disappointing shock.

28/09/2026: We were very well received, the food was excellent, it was really good.

27/09/2026: It's really cool, there's good music and... Keita is nice and the whole team is too

26/08/2026: It’s easily to know this hotel building is an old one so I don’t expect too much. Yes it is old but clean enough. Hope they will renovate till it is fully renovated.

05/07/2026: Excellent location, secure parking available, very close to bars and restaurants. Very helpful staff.

06/09/2026: The food is delicious. The staff are friendly and energetic.

06/09/2026: We came for lunch as a couple with a child. The spaghetti Bolognese was beef-free?! The filet mignon with foie gras had a bland sauce. The portion was generous, but the quality wasn't there. We would have preferred less and better. The service was slow, but the gentleman was friendly. A bit pricey, disappointing.

19/08/2026: I had a steak tartare at Filet-O-Nat, and it was really delicious! The homemade fries were also excellent and very generously portioned. The owner is very kind and, honestly, she doesn't deserve all the negative reviews I've read. Personally, I had a great time and I recommend it 👍

18/08/2026: Disappointing. The American-style burger wasn't bad, but nothing exceptional. The fries were soggy and hard in the mouth, making me think they'd already been cooked. But what really infuriated me was the children's menu, which was a complete mess. I would have paid less to get nuggets and a small side of fries for my daughter. The plastic container melted under the nuggets. I don't know if you would have let your children eat plastic, but I wouldn't. It ended up in the bin. These things shouldn't happen...

28/08/2026: We've been coming here every month for almost a year now, and we've never been disappointed. The food and the welcome are very warm. Thank you for your friendliness.

28/08/2026: The food is excellent, I've never been disappointed, and the service is top-notch. I recommend it 200%!
