05/03/2026: A true local pub, a classic spot opposite the Louvre-Lens! Definitely a Lens institution and a great find for lunch! My carbonnade was absolutely delicious, and the fries were definitely my favorites during my stay in the region! I also really appreciate that the restaurant offers a wide variety of Northern French specialties available for purchase at the register! The waffles were very good, and I recommend trying the beer brewed on-site—a real treat for beer lovers! In short, an absolute delight, and I can't wait to go back! Thank you also for your warm welcome and your much-appreciated friendliness!

09/04/2026: Between pizza and kebab shops, finding a decent place in Lens isn't easy. This authentic bistro near the train station is a different story. It welcomes you in the dim light, with closely spaced tables and the enticing aroma of Maroilles cheese. The menu features traditional fare, good beers, shrimp croquettes, andouille sausage gratin with Maroilles, and pork cheek braised in beer—all excellent. Efficient service. Reservations are recommended.

24/03/2026: Excellent experience at Bistrot La Césarine in Lens! The meal was truly delicious, with perfectly cooked, high-quality meat. Special mention goes to the side dishes and sauces; everything was expertly prepared. A big thank you also to the team for their flexibility: I asked for baked potatoes instead of fries (even though they weren't on the menu), and they accepted without any problem. It's this kind of service that truly makes a difference. I highly recommend it, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome!

29/03/2026: Excellent dance night yesterday at Fiesta with our dance club! Great food and a fantastic 80s atmosphere with a DJ who really listened to the customers! Efficient service with friendly staff! I highly recommend it and we'll definitely be back!

23/11/2025: I've been a regular customer of this establishment for six months, but for the past two weeks I've been checking who's serving before going in because, unfortunately, there's only one waitress behind the counter, and she's completely unsuited to the job. I go elsewhere when she's there. No smile, an unwavering coldness, and no customer service whatsoever—a robot would be warmer. Madam, this profession is not for you. Thank you to Anne-Sophie and Soso for their exceptional kindness and professionalism.

28/03/2026: A wonderful evening with my wife thanks to the kindness of the young women serving and the remarkably high quality of the food. Moreover, the price was reasonable. After a delicious baked egg with Maroilles cheese, we had the langues de chat with pepper sauce and an exquisite side dish, followed by the chicken supreme with Maroilles sauce and a fabulous pasta gratin. All of this makes us eager to explore the rest of the menu!
