01/10/2024: Great little restaurant. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a couple of set menus that are great value for money. Food is a very good standard. Drinks are very well priced also. Would recommend to grab lunch.

29/09/2024: Even though it is near Bellecour Square, the prices are very affordable. To be honest, the taste isn't that great, but it's a place where you can experience Lyon food as an appetizer + main course + dessert at a low price. There was a server of Korean nationality who spoke English well, so ordering in English was smooth.

15/12/2024: I suggested this restaurant among others to a Metropolitan friend, and she chose it. I was afraid of being harsh in my opinion and I can only be so unfortunately being from Reunion. That day she had the dish of the day, it was chicken and I had goat cheese. I didn't taste her dish, she found it good but it wasn't carry chicken, it was chicken with sweet spices... The kid roughly put in a container, big mistake the coriander which soaked in it as if it was cooked with it 😵😱 While you put it on the finely chopped dish once it is cooked. You can't feel the massalé but I imagine that it is adapted to the European palate. There was 1 kind of pickled cabbage, not great, the taste was questionable. The brede was cold. I think there is an effort to be made in the presentation. And finally the banana flambée can be a Mauritian particularity because it is a restaurant run by Mauritians or Mauritians/Reunion Islanders, because the fruit is coated in a donut batter, which is a shame! without it, it would have been much better. We don't find the potato cake or cassava cake or the cassava fritter on the dessert menu, typical desserts of the island, which is a shame! If we are from Reunion and know our cuisine well, it is better to move on, because unfortunately we will inevitably be critical of the establishment. The welcome is passable, in all cases I found the lady more pleasant than the gentleman who was perhaps less expressive. The room is small but cute with Reunion Island tablecloths.

14/12/2024: We found by chance this restaurant specializing in the cuisine of Reunion Island and Mauritius. Coincidence did things very well, we tasted an excellent Rougain sausage, all with top-notch and very friendly service... an excellent address at Place Carnot in Lyon

25/07/2024: Bistrot Martine is a real Lyon restaurant typical of the Ainay district which takes us back to the years of real pleasure food. Thanks to Fanny and Laurent for their kindness and their know-how I highly recommend

What a beautiful and happy surprise to eat in a small neighborhood bistro, rue d'Enghien Lyon 2nd, starter plus dishes, plus aperitif, plus a pot of rosé from the Var , it's a treat for the taste buds... 15/10/2024: Nice bar-restaurant, simple, good welcome. Small hiccup when paying, he had to take the credit card terminal with my card to another room for a few moments, that still leaves me with a bad feeling... It's a shame.

11/10/2024: If you want to have a pleasant time tasting super good food in a very good atmosphere, all supported by a wonderful waiter. We highly recommend it.
