The food was quite good, though sometimes overly elaborate, like the radish leaf juice dessert, which was universally disliked. Overpriced. An average experience that was overpriced. Six people were a bit disappointed. There are better options nearby for less money.

We met the wonderful duo Clément and Marie, who gave us a warm welcome, offered helpful advice, and made us feel like right at home. In addition to their original and high-quality cocktails—both alcoholic and non-alcoholic—they are always incredibly attentive! They spontaneously offer a small misting spray and a fan to every customer. And they always have a smile on their face. Thank you so much, and... see you soon! 😁

16/08/2026: How lucky we were to stumble into le p’tit vert on a very hot day in August. As tourists in Lyon one can often feel like an inconvenience for restaurateurs, but the charming staff and owners here gave us a taste of the local experience. Everything from the Frâicheur salad to the citron givré was beautiful. A lovely place.

It's devastating news for us every time. 😔 There's always a pang of disappointment when we come for our Ricard and don't get to be served by them. How are we supposed to cope with such a letdown? Fiona and Brian, you are essential to the smooth running of this establishment. We simply ask for your constant presence. Thank you for making it happen.

30/08/2026: The food is freshly prepared. The tortillas are pressed directly from small balls of dough and then baked. The tables are rather close together. The only downside for non-smokers is that when the staff smokes outside, the smoke drifts into the restaurant. It would be nice if they washed their hands afterward. Otherwise, everything is delicious.

You can tell the ingredients are carefully prepared, and it really makes a difference. The restaurant's atmosphere was also very pleasant and welcoming. A special mention to the young woman working that day: she was absolutely lovely, always smiling, kind, and truly beautiful! 🥰 She made the experience even more enjoyable with her warm welcome and cheerful disposition. I recommend Two Amigos without hesitation and will definitely be back! 🇲🇽❤️

26/08/2026: A true gem of a café in what might be the busiest neighborhood in Lyon. Located in a charming square right across the Cathèdral St. Jean-Baptiste, we had a wonderful, calming break from the heat, which included good coffee, a delicious flan, and very friendly service!

02/09/2026: What a joy to stumble upon this restaurant while strolling down Rue Mercière! La Mère Cottivet was our favorite bouchon when we lived in Lyon several years ago. It used to be in the Cordeliers district, and when we wanted to go there one day while passing through Lyon, it was gone, and we thought it had closed for good. Anyway… I'm getting carried away with my memories, let's get back to the point: The best Lyonnais bouchon there is, that hasn't changed! Deliciously authentic cuisine, a warm atmosphere, and on top of that, exceptional service! Thank you to Hadrien (with an "H") for this delightful experience, perfect in every way, and for his incredible sense of service. He perfectly embodies the spirit of the place ☺️

23/08/2026: A truly unpleasant experience. The staff were extremely rude, impolite and unprofessional, making us feel unwelcome from the moment we arrived. Mistakes can happen, but arrogance and a complete lack of basic courtesy are simply unacceptable in hospitality. We left genuinely shocked by the way we were treated. Without doubt one of the worst restaurant experiences we have ever had. We will certainly not return.
