06/06/2026: We ate at this little restaurant by chance, and it was a pleasant surprise. The staff were very friendly, and the food was excellent. We had the set menu for 16 euros and we weren't disappointed. I recommend it.

02/06/2026: Third wedding at "La Suite" 😁, but this time it's ours, well, our 30th wedding anniversary renewal. We'd been dreaming of it for a long time, being able to have the wedding ceremony of our dreams (the one we couldn't afford 30 years ago), and thanks to the team at La Suite, it happened. Thank you to Guillaume (the head chef), a huge thank you to Luis (you're a ray of sunshine), and the whole team (waitresses, cooks...). You did everything to make it our day, and it was exceptional, exactly what we had dreamed of. At La Suite, you're taken care of from A to Z, from organizing the ceremony (for us, it was on the terrace) to the cocktail hour, the meal, and the reception. We only received fantastic feedback from all our guests (about a hundred people). The venue is magnificent, the food delicious, and the staff so kind and attentive. In short, if you want to organize a party and make it exceptional, creating memories that will last a lifetime, don't hesitate to go to "La Suite" ♥️

18/07/2026: We need to rethink our priorities. Since last summer, we haven't felt safe in this bar as LGBT people! Between the homophobic attacks and the aggressive bouncer who constantly threatens to hit us! And on top of that, he's awkward with our girlfriends who are with us! Where are we supposed to go? You're happy enough to take our money every night! But when it comes to protecting us from this kind of guy who abuses his position as a bouncer with such remarks, there's no one around! Honestly, keep going if you want everyone to stop coming to your bar!

12/07/2026: I've eaten at this restaurant several times, and as for the food, there's not much to say. However, these days, being good isn't enough; service is important. I went there on a Sunday evening. The restaurant was almost empty, and I brought my little dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Out of respect, I sat outside, even though it was very hot, so as not to disturb the other diners inside. When ordering, I asked the waitress if I could have a small bowl of water, and she told me, "No, that's not possible. We don't have anything to put the water in." I should point out that 90% of their dishes are served in bowls. So I left, much to the astonishment of the owner, who didn't understand at all. This is truly an example of the worst that China does in terms of service. Absolutely no respect for the customer. Losing a customer isn't a big deal. Thankfully many other noodle restaurants are opening in Lyon, I will not return to this establishment with regret.

16/07/2026: The service is pleasant and friendly, but it's bad. No one asks for an aperitif or coffee, and the bread is taken from other tables, so you end up with a piece that everyone else has touched. I ordered an entrecôte with Saint Marcellin sauce, but I got a steak with a sweet sauce and not a single bit of cheese. The meat was poor quality, and to top it off, the dish was cold: a complete disaster! It's a shame because the fries could have been good if they'd been hot. Would I recommend it? NO. PS: The Black Sheriff is 3 years old, not 12… At €10 for 5cl (like Madkaud), it's a real rip-off.

17/07/2026: Incredible place! We stumbled in and had a fantastic time with artists, musicians, and singers enjoying a private concert. I highly recommend it for a great time in a bar with a theatrical decor and an owner who perfectly captures the amazing atmosphere. 👍👍👍👍
