03/06/2026: The traditional Lyonnais bistro was as delightful on the plate as it was visually appealing. A true treat, both from the set menu and the daily specials, but be warned, everything is very generous. The flavors are there, and so are the aromas. We had a wonderful time, and the staff was fantastic. A huge thank you for introducing us to this place and for such a great experience.

I can't wait to go back ❤️ Last visit yesterday and... a slight disappointment: the barrel organ for birthdays is now reserved for Baked Alaska. So when you want to throw a surprise birthday party, it's difficult to get your guests to order that dessert 😢

02/03/2026: I discovered this restaurant. Its concept of "open-faced sandwiches" at affordable prices is original—except for the oysters: only 4 plus a small glass of white wine for 10 euros... But everything else is varied, with generous portions, and the waitress is welcoming and friendly with a smile! Well located on the peninsula. I recommend it for a lunch or dinner break—original and very pleasant, almost like stepping out of a tourist trap!

28/02/2026: Nice atmosphere. Good value for money. Could be a bit cleaner. Cobwebs were hanging overhead. Don't look up. Lol. The food was a bit too exposed for my liking. Friendly, cheerful, and smiling staff.

09/07/2026: The food isn't good. I first went to Paris three years ago, and I wanted to give the one in Lyon a chance, but they didn't live up to that expectation.

08/07/2026: Steak salad for almost €19… there was practically nothing in it, the little bit of meat was tough… avoid it! It's shameful to offer salads at this price!

30/07/2026: Excellent food. Excellent service. It's a shame to be disturbed for a good part of the meal by people who come to lunch with young children who are crying and won't sit still.

30/07/2026: Pleasant service, beautiful establishment, and cozy conservatory. But the food was very disappointing. Many purée-like substances and the octopus was very tough, in other words: not fresh. For a restaurant of this level, we found it to be a huge letdown. After the meal, 3 out of 5 had stomach problems the night before.

As for the food, everything was generous and delicious, in the purest Lyonnais tradition: quality ingredients, hearty portions, and true culinary expertise. You can tell the restaurant is passionate about its classic dishes and executes them exceptionally well. The service was friendly and efficient, never rushing us. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking an authentic Lyonnais experience.

16/07/2026: Perfect. The selection is rather limited, but everything is made with fresh, local ingredients. For example, eggs mayonnaise, which I generally find "good," turned out to be "excellent" at this restaurant. The service was quick and, above all, friendly and welcoming.

23/06/2026: A warm welcome, a menu with two choices, featuring fresh, local, and seasonal produce. Refined, simple, healthy, flavorful, and authentic cuisine, with excellent traditional bread that reflects the character of the place and its owners. Even the dessert is lower in sugar to preserve the natural taste of the ingredients. Well done. I highly recommend it.

The dishes were absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that transported us to Sicily. Everything was perfect, as always: the service, the atmosphere, and the quality of the food. 28/04/2026: A very pleasant place with very friendly staff. However, given the simplicity of the dishes, one might expect better, especially the hard-boiled eggs in the Lyonnaise salad. And finally, the highlight of the meal: 16 euros for a 50cl bottle of Mâcon wine... I've honestly never seen anything like it, it's highway robbery. Putting that aside, it was okay, but nothing special.

28/03/2026: A fantastic bistro – a little removed from the hustle and bustle – where the homemade dishes are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. We thoroughly enjoyed a generous casserole of veal blanquette.

01/07/2026: Overall, a very pleasant experience. The bluefin tuna was prepared and seared perfectly. The beef with onion caramelized cream sauce is amazingly tender. Recommend reservations before coming by 9pm.

27/06/2026: Was recommended so thought to try! Now one of the appetisers- the asparagus with Dan Dan style was definitely great! The sauce was awesome. But let me tell you about all else, the scotch egg starter was super mediocre. But what killed this place was the mislabelled takgalbi chicken. It was clear no one in this kitchen has ever been to Korea and had actual takgalbi. My Korean friend was so disappointed and we were about to complain about how misleading the menu was. Fine one bad main. But the beef was also nothing to write home about. Then on top of that they gave the sweetest glazed upon, sickeningly sweet. There's no need for that much sugar. All the French Asian twists were a disaster. Super slow service making bad food. So just don't order what we did. Probably get the carbonara with pork that looked good. Infidels - never again.

19/04/2026: We bought a chocolate cake in this shop, an unusual shape: long and narrow, with dark chocolate icing and hazelnuts. The saleswoman really sold us on it, saying, "You'll see!"... And see we did. A cake that was several days old, dry and dense, with no finesse whatsoever. Absolutely no appeal.
