From delicious pastas to excellent pizzas, you won't be disappointed by the quality of the food (it's so good).
I can only recommend the truffle pizza but everything I had was more than satisfactory.
Tiramisu, vegetable pizza, eggplant pasta… what more can I say.
The lovely staff give a superb atmosphere to the restaurant. You will have a wonderful time with delicious flavors.
In short, I recommend this place 1000 times!

26/12/2025: The manager of this restaurant is rude and discriminatory. This is the second time I'm feeling discriminated against for reasons I can't fathom, either it is our ethnicity or age, but he certainly makes one feel unimportant and beneath others through his clearly unprofessional and biased conduct. I am sad to see him running an "Indian" restaurant and leaving this impression on behalf of Indians. Despite being one of the only 2 "Indian" places in Fontainebleau, I would much rather spend my money elsewhere. I will not be returning.

31/08/2024: Entrecôte ok, salmon carpaccio too, on the other hand the Caesar salad is a real scandal for 19 euros: a lot of salad, little chicken, croutons not good.

11/01/2026: I went to this place with my partner. We had to look twice to find your sign. The place is completely unusual, the design is unfamiliar, and the organization is totally outdated. It was also quite cold, as my partner had to keep her jacket on. Regarding drinks, my partner ordered an Orangina, but it was flat, as if it were a low-quality version. The charcuterie platter came without bread.
16/12/2025: Great karaoke bar, we had a fantastic evening and got along well with our neighbors. A great atmosphere and delicious cocktails.

12/12/2025: A true delight from start to finish! Frédéric Cassel restaurant offers refined cuisine, bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. The dishes are as beautiful as they are delicious, and the service is warm and professional. You can taste the genuine passion in every plate. Special mention goes to the desserts, absolutely sublime and a signature of the house. An address to recommend without hesitation.

26/06/2025: Traditional dishes, simple and well-prepared. The truffle is very present in the poached egg and the brie. The location is very good. The interior decor is certainly not Instagrammable, there is certainly nothing extravagant on the menu, but it is exactly this simplicity and authenticity that I was looking for. Very good service too: smiling and accommodating waiter. Starter, main course, dessert, drink for less than €30/person. Good value for money, good address.

19/01/2025: We come in for a drink and barely even say hello! A little young man at the bar with a nonchalant appearance…. I ask for cutlery, 5 minutes to bring it to me (the bartender asked for two waiters)
A young waitress sitting on the stairs scrolling on her phone. What is this waitress doing (she finishes her shift, she leaves or she works overtime…)! Cocktails served with a cardboard straw that crumbles, and which is frankly not good, hot chocolate ditto not good either! Young people have two tensions! And the room manager is no better! This brewery has changed a lot! 3 round trip for 6 drinks…. A waiter knows how to hold a tray… what do we teach these young people?!!? Two of tensions! It’s a calamity!
17/01/2025: We went there for a snack on Sunday afternoon and the atmosphere was friendly, the staff very kind and pleasant.

16/11/2025: A very pleasant spot in the forest, ideal for a meal – an essential stop when taking a walk in the Fontainebleau forest.
12/11/2025: The place has the advantage of being open on a Sunday after a lovely walk in the woods.
I witnessed the owner (as he was keen to point out) humiliating a somewhat lost woman who asked for a cigarette. He then went back, satisfied, to smoke his own in the kitchen and at the till.
The toilets are dirty, there are signs everywhere stating that they refuse to serve water to walkers, the food isn't worth the trip, and the welcome is anything but warm.
Bring a large water bottle and some good sandwiches to eat on the way back!

01/05/2024: Exceptionnelle la cuisine dans ce restaurant, nous avons rarement dîner aussi bien à un prix aussi raisonnable ! Au menu : homard accompagné de pâtes extrêmement bien cuites et assaisonnées.
Quant à la carte des vins, elle aussi est bien achalandée.
Une visite s’impose !!!
26/02/2024: le piège, comme on nous avait parlé de cet endroit, nous avons voulu en savoir plus, nous nous sommes présentés un milieu de semaine(mercredi) pour déjeuner, réponse désolé nous sommes complet, étonné de cette réponse et comme nous sommes curieux les semaines suivantes nous avons réservé pour un dimanche .surprise salle à moitié pleine, service aimable , qualité sans plus, salade toute dé fraichi, après avoir réclamé de la moutarde on on apporte un tout petit fond de moutarde ,il fallait raclé le fond??? quand au soufflé servi dans une tasse a chocolat, (bizarre comme présentation) avec un verre de vin par personne compter quand même près de 80 euro par personne , expérience malheureuse

01/08/2024: Une belle adresse, on y mange bien et le service y est sympa. Que ce soit sur la présentation, les produits utilisés ou même la présentation dans l’assiette il n’y a rien à redire.
Pour aller plus loin encore et mieux accompagner cette belle carte, une sélection de vins plus fournie et moins classique serait une piste.
26/07/2024: A smiling and helpful welcome, several menus on the program and a well-calibrated menu, all served at a time adapted to our constraints. Brief ; professionals who love their job and it shows. Go there without hesitation!

17/08/2024: It's very good and the dishes smell good as soon as you pass on the road, it whets the appetite. We are served by Italians with an accent which is very pleasant and friendly. Holiday atmosphere!
Book before you go otherwise there will be no place too bad for you I would have warned you.
