29/03/2026: So where to begin… AVOID AT ALL COSTS
The welcome was icy, bordering on contemptuous—you definitely get the feeling you're intruding when you walk in. They do have student menus, so they're supposed to be accessible to students… well, that's the theory. Today, they decided to make their own rules.
I simply asked for three student menus for three students: their reaction? They laughed in my face. Yes, literally. A haughty, unpleasant attitude, without any valid explanation. It's disrespectful and frankly embarrassing.
For a moment, I wondered if the problem was me… but judging by the other reviews, it's clearly a common occurrence here.
As a result, I left empty-handed, since they refused to serve me. Such poor service is rare—and yet they manage it.
Everything needs improvement: the welcome, the respect for the customer, and especially the professionalism. Avoid at all costs.

26/01/2026: While the welcome was pleasant, the meal was utterly bland, which is all the more infuriating considering the prices. A ficelle picarde swimming in an indeterminate sauce, with ham and mushrooms nowhere to be seen. A sinewy piece of beef hidden under a brownish, slimy sauce, a tuna tataki with no flavor other than that of the sauce. Dessert was hardly any better: a crumble with ice cream but no ice cream, and three pieces of Neufchâtel cheese that had been sitting on the counter, simply dumped onto a plate. Despite our complaints, we were fortunate enough to have the aperitifs offered to us on the house... in short, avoid this place.
21/01/2026: Judging by the comments, some must be fake, or perhaps there are two completely different chefs in the kitchen depending on the day and time. When staff is short, they should limit the number of tables and not accommodate groups. Trying to do too much, we waited an hour for our starter and aperitif, and another hour for our main course, which cut short our leisurely stroll in this otherwise beautiful spot. €100 for two people without wine or dessert. Just a kir and a beer. Maybe it was the rillettes on toast as an amuse-bouche that made the difference! I didn't even have the energy to look at my receipt. You're paying for the view because the mediocre taste is completely unrelated to the astronomical price. The hollandaise sauce was like warm mayonnaise. And there was no cash register to give change. I agree with other reviews: a rip-off like I've never seen before. What a shame.

01/01/2026: The chip shop doesn't look like much, but the fries were edible and the man serving was friendly. However, the price of €4 is really excessive for such a tiny portion of fries (the equivalent of what you'd get in a baby pack for €1.50 elsewhere).

Uncooked and inedible..
As a restaurateur, it's really not complicated to make something fresh and good, especially with the equipment you use. The aroma is really not great.

Super disgusting churros not cooked, vanilla ice cream not great and rikiki. The boss can't stand comments, not friendly, not commercial, he smells very bad. My friend was attacked by the boss with the churros, she crushed her on the head and she ran away to the neighbor's house. The waitresses are nice except for the oldest brunette with short hair. Restaurant to flee urgently if you don't want me to catch salmonella. Unacceptable behavior of owners
P.S.: Sir, we must take responsibility for what you and your wife did yesterday around 5 p.m. to my friend. When the police come to ask you for accountability following our filing of a complaint we will see..... you are not commercial at all.

26/11/2024: Bon accueil , Saint Jacques excellentes ainsi que les desserts ,nous y avons mangé 3 fois durant notre séjour et nous y reviendrons au prochain
02/11/2024: Petite balade au côtoyer...à 14h30 nous décidons de prendre un café... refus de nous prendre avant 15h ....bref nous revenons à 15h et là un serveur nous prends en charge dirons nous,peu agréable nous lui commandons un café et là oh surprise pas de café juste thé ou chocolat...nous optons pour un thé et là oh surprise pas le choix du goût donc thé à la menthe obligé...bref reçu comme un chien dans un jeu de quille car MONSIEUR est en vacances le lendemain pour 3 mois et à apparemment envie de liquider son restant de stock

16/07/2024: Désastreux, station fermée à 22h malgré lumière allumée et panneau indiquant 24h/24. Petit local avec toilettes et deux machines à café ouvert, mais sale et une machine a encaissé pour nous servir un gobelet vide en guise de café (celle de gauche). Horrible, à fuir.
13/07/2024: Nous avons voulu payer en espèces sur l'aire de service et nous avons attendu 1h15 ! La personne n'ouvrait pas sa cabine et ne se montrait pas ! Elle dormait ??? A quoi sert une aire de service 24/24 dans ce cas ??c'est une aberration !
Il a fallu insister plus d'une heure pour que le monsieur vienne ouvrir et nous serve !

Les serveurs et serveuses au taquet mais toujours avec le sourire. Restaurant complet le samedi midi mais l'attente pour être servis était très raisonnable...
Bonne cuisine. Bon rapport qualité/prix.

16/09/2024: A catastrophic experience from start to finish. Upon arrival, you are greeted by staff with crude vocabulary and an outfit that absolutely does not make you want to stay. The lack of respect towards customers is blatant, we even wonder if they understand that they are there to offer a service. In the middle of the terrace, a mind-blowing scene: an altercation which degenerates into a fake fight, before the astonished eyes of the customers.
The only glimmer of hope in this establishment? Lucas (if I understood his name correctly), the only one to offer decent service and to try to make up for this wreck. Courage to him, he deserves much better than this toxic environment.
In short, to avoid absolutely!

11/12/2023: Deux nouvelles soirées chez vous, qui nous ont permis de retrouver tout ce que nous aimons tant, et qui nous fait revenir au Crotoy le plus souvent possible :
- l'ambiance unique : chaleureuse, cocoon et feutrée, il fait si bon se réfugier chez vous après les longues balades dans le froid ou la pluie...
- un service impeccable : Lucie et son équipe, quatre personnes de très bons conseils, dynamiques, aussi attentives qu'efficaces : vous êtes parfaits, quel plaisir de vous revoir.
- notre combinaison habituelle pour pouvoir, en deux actes, nous émerveiller de la maîtrise de Pascal, de ses nouvelles créations, de l'expression de son Art :
* une soirée "menu Baie Marine"
* et une soirée "à la carte" : nous prenons des plats différents, et goûtons chaque assiette de l'autre.
C'était si surprenant, recherché, élaboré, divinement bon... il nous a semblé que nous nous sommes régalés comme jamais, que l'équipe s'est encore transcendée...
Mais était-il possible d'encore vous améliorer ? J'en doute, la perfection étant atteinte et maintenue avec constance depuis si longtemps.
Nous nous sommes en tous cas laissés emporter par la magie du moment, ces deux soirées ont été des moments de pur bonheur, intense.
Chaleureuses félicitations et merci beaucoup à vous tous, nous nous réjouissons déjà de vous revenir très bientôt.
