10/09/2024: Very beautiful abbey. If you go to the Bay of Somme, stop at St Riquier to visit the abbey, the Hôtel Dieu and the Belfry.

07/09/2024: The abbey of Saint Riquier is a magnificent building, with a very beautiful adjoining church. Two exhibitions were in progress during our visit, one was a photo exhibition on the Bay of Somme and the other by the artist Chris CLAISSE.

04/08/2024: An incredible place. A super nice and warm boss who knows how to welcome customers. The dishes are copious and succulent with careful presentation. We were there last night with our Quebec friend who was staying in the region. The boss will recognize us if he reads these few lines. A memorable evening and a meal that left its mark on us. 06/07/2025: We had a wonderful evening at my birthday party. The venue is beautiful, and Francois and his wife are very friendly and welcoming. We ate very well. The wine was very good and the atmosphere was perfect. We really enjoyed ourselves, and the DJ was also very good. The value for money was absolutely excellent. It was perfect. Thank you to Francois and his team.

19/04/2025: We celebrated our daughter's 18th birthday at Marott Street, one of our favorite places in Amiens for its magnificent setting. Everything was perfect: the contacts for the quote and the organization, the service adapted to our requests, the evening slot (7:30 p.m.-1 a.m.), the availability of the bar for decoration, the service (thank you, what kindness and friendliness!), the security of entries to the evening, the petits fours/boards, the non-alcoholic cocktails, the champagne and what an atmosphere! Thanks to the DJ! A big thank you to Marott Street, this evening was really beautiful!

03/12/2024: It was a real pleasure to warm up in this friendly restaurant on a beautiful autumn day while enjoying a Bay stew with lovely spicy flavors and a chtiramisu (dessert revisited with excellence with notes of speculoos, pear, chocolate and hazelnut). Yum ;-)

27/11/2024: depuis un certain temps on entend parler de cette table Alors ma femme m'a dit, Allons y. Et quelle jolie découverte. Dès la mise en bouche. Nous sommes captiver par un velouté de courge musquée de Provence. À tomber par terre. Et cette pana cotta citronnelle crevettes grises bouleversante. La suite fut tout aussi stupéfiante. Maîtrise des cuissons. Des goûts. Nous avons prit un de chaque pour vraiment goûter à tout. Cuisson de l'œuf remarquable et ce croustillant bluffant. Omble chevalier. Fondant en bouche avec ce sorbet concombre divin Les plats sont maîtriser. Les desserts gourmands Les sorbets et glace sont à tomber Les assiettes sont très bien présenter. Chaque assiette mérite une photo Le fil est conducteur de la mise en bouche jusqu'au dessert. Nous comprenons maintenant pourquoi on parle tellement de la table des corderies. Nous reviendrons régulièrement maintenant. Merci

Velouté de cresson. Panacotta citronnelle crevettes grises. Du goût du goût pour débuter. Cela annonce une belle suite. Entrée. L'œuf mollet croustillant. Nouvelle entrée depuis notre dernier passage Cuisson œuf parfaite. Croustillant étonnant. Et ce Velouté de carottes jaune, dingue. Un Visuel admiratif. Plat Volaille. Une farce goûteuse. Résultat une viande moelleuse et juteuse. Gnocchis au potimarron napper sauce parmesan. Gourmand à souhait. Purée de patate douce. Sauce Velouté de potimarron crémeuse. Jolie visuellement. Les Saint jacques. Cuisson parfaite. Jolie croûte pleine de gourmandise. Purée de butternut goûteuse. Espuma poireaux aérien. Et ces pommes de terre soufflées, de la technique du croustillant dans l'assiette. Visuel tel un tableau. Pré dessert. Pomme avec un sorbet pomme shiso. Magique Dessert Tiramisu. Remplit de Gourmandise. Merveilleux. Service chaleureux et delicat. En cuisine un magicien des saveurs et des goûts nous gâtent. un artiste qui dresse ces assiettes comme de véritables tableaux Encore une fois. Un merveilleux moment. Merci

The cake was magnificent and perfectly met my expectations, it was perfectly in keeping with the theme of our decoration 😁 He was as handsome as he was good. Also very surprised by the price, really inexpensive for such good quality cakes! I also ordered a bento cake for my birthday, it was magnificent and very good, I recommend the lemon flavor which is neither too sweet nor too sour, just perfect! 29/11/2024: What a delight!!! A delicious snack break. The Paris Brest and Pear Caramel choux were incredible. The pastries are well balanced, each bite is tasty and light. Thank you very much, see you soon! (I didn't have time to take a photo, but the visual was just as great)

28/08/2024: Croquines was an exceptional caterer for our reception and wedding reception. Sandrine helped me find the best options to feed and entertain our guests with creative ideas. She offered us many options for the aperitif and the meal, and the tasting of our choices convinced us. Sandrine also put me in touch with a sommelier (Objectif Vin) who I highly recommend. Communication with Croquines has always been fluid. On the day of the wedding, the servers were very friendly, and the food was both delicious and beautifully presented. Many of our guests complimented the quality of the dishes and asked for the name of the caterer. I highly recommend Croquines!!! 🩷

22/08/2024: Had the most wonderful stay at Avril’s. If you’re looking to explore the Somme this is the best place to stay. They have the most amazing collection in the museum and the welcome is like being home from home. Wish we had stayed for longer, we will definitely be back and hope to not leave it another 30 years! Could not recommend enough!!!

19/08/2024: Visited as we saw online that there was an WW1 excavated trench on site. It was amazing and really interesting. We had lunch and drinks. A great menu in english. We are vegetarian and had struggled to find food on the trip. We ate well here. Beautiful surroundings with chickens and birds. Would recommend.
