07/09/2024: The abbey of Saint Riquier is a magnificent building, with a very beautiful adjoining church. Two exhibitions were in progress during our visit, one was a photo exhibition on the Bay of Somme and the other by the artist Chris CLAISSE.

29/08/2024: Nous avons réservé avec ma femme ce restaurant pour la première fois. Nous avions prévu d'arriver au restaurant avant 20h30 et avons envoyé un e-mail au restaurant pour l'informer que nous serions un peu en retard (10 minutes) car nous mettions notre petite fille au lit. Ils nous ont appelés alors que nous nous rendions au restaurant à 20h20 pour nous informer qu'ils ne pourraient plus nous accueillir car leurs portes allaient bientôt fermer. La dame nous a dit : "J'ai parlé à mon patron et il m'a dit que nous ne pouvons pas vous accueillir car vous arrivez trop tard. Je ne peux rien faire car je ne suis qu'une employée". Puis, elle nous a raccroché au nez. Ensuite, nous avons reçu un email de "no show", ce qui signifie que nous allons être facturés 70 € pour ne pas avoir honoré notre réservation. De plus, l'e-mail disait : « Malheureusement, nous ne pourrons plus vous recevoir dans notre établissement à l'avenir ». J'ai visité de nombreux restaurants étoilés Michelin depuis de nombreuses années (celui-ci ne l'est pas), et je n'ai jamais vu autant d'arrogance et de mépris. Mais pour qui se prennent-ils ? A éviter... We booked this restaurant for the first time. We aimed to arrive at the restaurant by 20h30 and emailed the restaurant to advise that we would be slightly late on that time (10mn) as we were putting our baby daughter to bed. They called us while we were travelling to the restaurant at 20h20 to advise that they could not welcome us as their doors would soon close. The lady said to us:"I spoke to my boss and he said we can't welcome you as you're too late. There is nothing I can do as I am just an employee". And then hung up the phone on us. Then, we received an email of "no show" which means we will be charged 70€ for not honouring our reservation. Even more, the email said we would "no longer be welcome to this establishment". In many years of visiting Michelin starred restaurants (this one is not), I have never seen so much arrogance and contempt. Avoid this place at all costs... honestly, who do they think they are??????

14/05/2024: I privatized the premises for my thesis evening and the experience was perfect from start to finish! The organizers were very accommodating and very professional (drink and petit four service, DJ, security guard). My guests were delighted, a big thank you to François and his team!

The boss wants to satisfy his customers and runs everywhere to avoid too much waiting. the cuisine is very good with research, particularly for the dessert that we had….a few gold leaves….quite unexpected for a brasserie. Bravo to the Chef as well as the boss. It's worth the detour and we must encourage them. Thank you for this good time spent at your place👌

28/11/2024: I stayed at the Hôtel Restaurant L’Abbatiale in Corbie and I can only recommend this establishment. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted in a very warm, polite and courteous manner. During my stay, there was a heating failure, but the team was able to react quickly by providing me with additional heating. Their responsiveness to unforeseen events is truly remarkable and very appreciable. The manager Mamou is extremely kind and professional. She simply wants the best for her clients and always remains available. On top of that, the hotel is clean and well maintained. The bedding is comfortable. The staff is also professional but also very pleasant, which makes the stay even more pleasant which makes you feel truly considered, and not like just a number. And what about the restaurant! The taste quality of the dishes is exceptional. This is one of the restaurants where I loved the food the most. Each meal was a true delight, prepared with care and passion. No need to call Philippe Etchebest 😂. I without hesitation give a rating of 5 out of 5 for their exceptional service, their dedication to making their guests' stay as comfortable as possible, and for the incredible quality of their restaurant. Thank you to the entire L’Abbatiale team!

15/11/2024: My husband and I discovered this restaurant this lunchtime and it was really a great surprise, the welcome was warm and it was really delicious the buffet is extra starter, main course, cheese, dessert and a drink for 20 euros! We will come back, I enjoyed myself and I traveled with the flavors!

13/08/2024: Excellent French restaurant near Fressenneville in the French north of Picardy. Excellent quality of dishes and a fair price (€22 with starter, main course and dessert without alcohol). I will return there at every opportunity. It is obviously very popular at lunch, best to book.

05/11/2024: I can't rate the food because I didn't eat there but this evening I witnessed what I call mistreatment of a delivery man. At the corner of DEJEAN and MERMOZ streets, a delivery man on a scooter had an accident after a car cut him off. The delivery man found himself lying under his scooter, his hands and knees bleeding and of course a little stunned by the event. While we were waiting for the firefighters, he found himself on the phone with a colleague (a woman whose name I didn't hear). The colleague clearly doesn't care how he's doing and insists that he deliver as quickly as possible and call the customers to apologize. She asks him several times if the scooter is damaged, asking him to describe the possible damage. When the firefighters arrived, the young man, more than conscientious, asked several times to be treated quickly to deliver. I am shocked by the lack of consideration from his colleague who did not want to restart the manufacturing of orders and have them delivered by someone else. Where is the quality of life at work? And the consideration of psycho-social risks? So given the comments I imagine that the chain is qualitative in terms of food but people are not at the center of HR policy it seems... too bad! And I hope that this delivery man (whose name I will not mention in order to respect the GDPR) will be fine and will at least receive an apology from his employer. (sir if you read me know that in the event of work stoppage due to a work accident you will be 100% compensated and you will therefore not lose any money. You can also request that on the AT be mentioned the obvious pressure from your employer)

10/09/2024: Une catastrophe , un responsable qui va céder son restaurant nous reprochant son propre oubli du gâteau de mariage . Notre dizaine d invités au fond sur une table donnant sur les toilettes ( 1 mètre entre les toilettes et les cuisines ) une serveuse malhonnête qui nous impose de choisir un dessert dès l entrée. Pour une durée interminable . Aucun mot d excuse ,ni de geste commercial et encore moins de aurevoir. Pour un mariage on ne peut pas faire pire. Quand on pense que ce restaurateur avait pris les allergènes de mon fils pour ce futur gâteau d anniversaire surprise qui n aura jamais existé.

09/09/2024: What can I say...an overall disappointment, even for us, the bride and groom, but also the guests. A manager who supposedly no longer remembers the wedding cake, no excuses, no commercial gesture, our group of 10 next to the toilets, the nice waitress with a disability but we never order a dessert to start, the quality of the ingredients excellent, this is the only good mark. It's not because we leave our business at the end of the month that we can be nonchalant...disappointed...especially since it wasn't our first choice. Tourists go elsewhere
