The entree of saint Marcelin was well balanced, the pork shoulder was super soft and juicy excellent point and the pineapple with rum ice cream delicious. This is an honest unpretentious restaurant where you feel comfortable with high quality food. The staff very friendly and a modern Relaxed atmosphere which is very appreciated

01/04/2024: Restaurant located on the main artery of the center of Avignon (rue de la République). On the 1st floor of the building, restaurant room with chic and sober art deco atmosphere. It is a couple of restaurateurs who manage the establishment with a masterful hand: the husband from Avignon in the kitchen and his wife of Peruvian origin in the dining room. The marriage is also made on the plate, where the flavors of Provence complement each other with Peruvian flavors. The chef has a lot of talent, the mixtures are subtle: grilled asparagus with notes of chocolate and sweet pepper… who would have thought it? And yet it “matches” wonderfully! No false notes until dessert included! We had an excellent, timeless time. The question I ask myself: why is this restaurant not starred? He fully deserves it

29/03/2024: Amazing! Here we discover Vietnamese cuisine (with a hint of Thai) that we taste from Hanoi to Can-Tho. From rice to carefully simmered vegetables to carefully simmered meat...everything is there. Two meals of equal quality make us regret returning to our native country. Congratulations to the whole team.

01/02/2024: An Avignon institution. A reference in terms of events and the Avignon setting. Ideal location in a historic setting in the center, the sound of the canal water on the mill blades relaxes the mind. Warm welcome and numerous concerts.

03/12/2023: Very nice bar. The beers are not expensive (between €3.70 and €4.70 per pint during happy hour). Happy hour is offered from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. (afterwards beers go to €6 a pint).

02/04/2024: Nice city hotel in the middle of Avignon. Quietly located, not far from the well-known bridge and in just a few minutes' walk you are right in the center, with a considerable selection of various restaurants. We experienced extremely friendly and courteous service. We booked a normal double room. Except for the size of the bed, everything was perfect. Everything is furnished in the typical French style, this hotel is very authentic. We felt very comfortable. A big plus point is the valet service for cars, which are parked in a nearby underground car park. Highly recommended if you are not looking for a modern hotel but rather an authentic French hotel.

28/03/2024: The best pizzas!! We always frequented this pizzeria when we lived in France, bring your pizzas to Montreal in Quebec! We miss you! As soon as we return to France, the first place we will go is éclair pizza!!!

02/04/2024: Had a lovely quick lunch here: goat's cheese and honey tartine, with a side salad. Delicious, and very generous portions! The location is ideal, with plenty of tables out on the terrace, including options in the sun or shaded by trees The staff are friendly and efficient :)
