09/10/2026: I've been going to L'Her du Temps for over ten years. I have to say that the quality of the food has declined. It's not bad, but it's not as good. The mussel cream was more like a béchamel sauce, which is surprising and not in a good way. The vanilla ice cream tasted very artificial (sickening)! It's a shame, especially considering that at one time the ice cream came from Tutti Frutti, the ice cream shop next door… The service was excellent, the waiter was pleasant and smiling. 👌

27/09/2026: We came for lunch, just the two of us. The setting is lovely with its view of the harbor, and we received a very warm welcome from the entire team. We ordered two cocktails, which were delicious and perfectly balanced. The homemade cuisine, from the main course to the dessert, is excellent. A very good restaurant that I highly recommend. For the daily specials and desserts, arrive early if you want a good selection, as there may not be everything available towards the end of service.

26/09/2026: As a regular customer, I was very disappointed by the service from your waiter; his attitude was haughty and unpleasant. However, his colleague is a true ray of sunshine; she definitely deserves 5 stars. Thank you to her for her special attention to our dogs! ☺️

08/09/2026: We made le cafe noir our daily stop off when cycling from our campsite to Noirmoutier. The atmosphers is very relaxed and peefect to unwind a d take in the surroundings. The food is varied and delicious. The service is excellent and the staff understood english as our french is poor.

08/09/2026: I first knew Café Noir several decades ago when we used to come here every summer for our holidays. It was a well-maintained place. Attentive staff, a piano that often resonated when a customer played it... the welcome was excellent, and the service was too. It was the place to be on the island! What a disappointment now. The prices, the service, the welcome, and the overcrowded terrace... a lot of work needs to be done in every area. We left after a long wait that only gave us time to look at the menu... the prices are unjustified. I really don't recommend it.

04/10/2026: Traditional brasserie, fairly hearty and good dishes. Nothing exceptional, but good value for money.

23/09/2026: Goat's cheese salad. No comment. My opinion doesn't necessarily reflect the quality of the restaurant. Friendly staff.

27/09/2026: Table booked 3 weeks in advance On the day of our reservation the restaurant was closed, and we were not notified.

24/09/2026: Disappointed. Friendly welcome and impeccable service. The hake rillettes, while very good, were more like a petit four than a proper starter. The accompanying cucumber and green soup added absolutely nothing except volume. The Fujiyama oyster, however, was much appreciated. The octopus à la vigneronne was good but didn't seem to have been cooked in the sauce. It hadn't absorbed any of the juices or color. As for the Tarte Tropézienne, the pastry looked like it was several days old, it was so hard. So, quite disappointed compared to the reviews we had read.

27/08/2026: The staff were very welcoming. We ordered three pizzas. The dough was excellent. The pizzas were really very good for the price. Excellent value for money. We recommend it.

03/01/2026: Hear ye, hear ye, dear customers! Since the franchise school is the best, don't go there... There are two reasons for this: First, well, Sodebo seems to have a better pizza chef... no, a better cook! (Apparently, he's the former chef from Spa 85.) Second (I've been speaking Italian since the first bite, by the way 😉), the chef isn't even satisfied with being bad... terrible. He had to add "you have to pay now" during our conversation with his waitress. To you, dear consumers, follow the story of this chef who just sold his business in March 2026, possibly for a successful venture in the Leroy Merlin Vendée cafeteria. Good luck, my man.

12/09/2026: Closed even though the website says open, plus when you arrive there's no sign 😔

11/08/2026: So disappointed, because I was the one who chose this restaurant for my birthday. Luckily, the young waitress was there to salvage things. I'd already asked my daughter to take off her flip-flops, which I'd left on my feet, when I got a very curt remark from the owner, who must have been in a terrible mood that evening. Or maybe she's always like that, because we were dining right behind the reception area, and we were treated to a barrage of complaints and comments about the young waitress, all of it very loudly so everyone could hear... It completely ruined my appetite, especially since we had the speaker right above our heads, and to top it off, a Calogero CD was blasting on repeat. The whole shebang, basically. So much for an oriental atmosphere... I almost thought my partner was joking! I gave one star for the dish, which I found quite good, and to top it all off, my tagine with a single prune, apricots, and lamb as tough as a rock—I've eaten more than one tagine in my life, and I think they'll have to explain again how it's cooked. Normally, it's cooked directly in the earthenware dish... I'll spare you the details because I think I could write a book about this establishment, which might appeal to some, but for my part, I'll never set foot in there again, that's for sure! The worst part is the owner, who was incredibly unfriendly. I didn't even stay; I left immediately because I think I would have told her to get lost, to put it politely... Avoid at all costs!
