06/07/2026: Last summer's experience: 2 stars, because the food is good, even if it's not better than on my first two visits. However, we were very disappointed by the service. We were a couple with our young child and were seated in a tiny corner at the very back of the restaurant, with the impression that our presence was intrusive. We also had to leave the stroller at the back of the restaurant. The staff wasn't very welcoming, which made the experience even more disappointing. I even wondered if families with young children were welcome. It's all the more unfortunate because we had already been two or three times before our son was born and had always had a wonderful time.

04/07/2026: Small dining room, but excellent food and top-notch service. The menu features 4 to 5 appetizers, 4 to 5 main courses, and the same number of desserts. Everything is fresh, the fish is cooked to perfection, and the chocolate mousse is divine. Reservations are recommended to guarantee a table. A bit noisy for my taste, but I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/07/2026: Efficient, patient, and friendly staff. The hamburgers and tuna steak were very much appreciated. However, the scallops were rubbery and tasteless. The mushroom risotto, with its updated recipe, was delicious. Reservations are essential during peak season.

06/07/2026: We spent a peaceful evening in this charming little square. The food was delicious and refined, and the servers were very attentive. Bravo to the chef for the cuisine! 👏 I'll be ordering again.

08/07/2026: We had a reservation, but unfortunately we arrived a day too early. It wasn't a problem at all; we were seated even though the restaurant was fully booked—thank you so much again! The food was of exceptional quality—every dish was truly delicious—wow! The tuna served with veal jus, or the Japanese butter, mmm—the sauces in general were incredible. The service, as mentioned, was excellent. All the staff were young and very dedicated. We felt very comfortable and were thrilled.

27/06/2026: Three stars fully deserved! We had the pleasure of dining at La Marine and we absolutely loved the experience. Everything was original, starting with the presentation of the nine-course menu on recycled paper, which allowed us to follow our tasting throughout the evening. We also greatly appreciated the beautiful video about Noirmoutier, which added a lovely touch to the experience. Special mention for the lobster with caviar, which was absolutely exceptional. A huge thank you to the entire team for this wonderful moment, and to the chef for this unforgettable gastronomic interlude.

16/07/2026: Service 5, frame 5. I ordered a 560-gram Omar on July 14, 2026, during peak season. I eat Omar in the off-season, and I've never seen one so empty. Serving an empty shell is a disgrace. It's not good business practice. I'm 77 years old.

15/07/2026: An exceptional experience!!! Besides the setting and the food, which are obviously incredible—from the perfectly cooked veal to the soufflé, a truly unique dessert experience—the welcome is warm and very pleasant. A big thank you to the waitress who took such good care of us, and also to the lady who gave excellent advice for cheese lovers, and to the owner who is so attentive to her customers. A must-visit when you're on the island of Noirmoutier.

24/05/2026: Good establishment, clean, impeccable service

20/05/2026: Impeccable service, however, the food was bland. The sea bass was well-served but slightly overcooked, accompanied by a saffron risotto that wasn't actually saffron—it was rice pasta—and a vegetable wok with no seasoning whatsoever, no spices, no salt, no pepper. The mussels marinière were too salty, and the broth was watery. A question about the daily special: mussels marinière or curry? Is it a two-day special? The menu was the same on Monday and Tuesday. 🤔 The lack of ambiance and character in the decor discourages lingering after the meal.

31/05/2026: We stopped by just for breakfast. Simple but perfectly fine. Friendly welcome.

24/05/2026: The bar is great for drinks with a beautiful view of the harbor, a fantastic atmosphere with DJs coming by, a great owner, etc… but the waiter really left something to be desired. He didn't smile much, the welcome wasn't very warm, and we felt like we were bothering them. With the first warm days of summer arriving, we ordered cocktails and water, but he said, "I'll take care of the people who are drinking alcohol and paying first, and then we'll see about the water," which is completely unprofessional. Adding two chairs was too complicated for him (not for the owner, who happily made room for us). So we went to the owner for the water, and he gave it to us immediately, along with little jars of peanuts. Be careful when choosing your staff, because it changes the perception of the bar, which is otherwise great, as we've been going there for years now!

23/05/2026: Excellent menu of dishes and desserts, featuring fresh, local, and seasonal produce. Very warm welcome. We had a wonderful lunch and can't wait to return. Thank you so much!

12/07/2026: Numerous oversights and poor service: salad with unripe tomatoes, burnt gizzards, no hazelnuts, and a crepe cooked on only one side! It's a concept, but it's best avoided!

06/07/2026: Mussels and fries served cold. The cider sauce seemed to have come from a can, was lumpy, and extremely salty. We were seated four to a table meant for two, even though the terrace was almost empty. There were two adults and two children. Once we were served, we couldn't even put our hands on the table. So, avoid this place with children... It's a real shame, I think. The price is reasonable and the terrace is pleasant nonetheless. The service was quick... Added July 5th: We were sick last night (both of us who ate the mussels in cider sauce...)

(And a great wine list!) A lovely sunny terrace, and above all, very peaceful compared to the center of Noirmoutier! Excellent service! 👏👏👏

15/02/2026: While visiting the island, we stopped here by chance. We left delighted. The delicious chocolate and homemade Breton pastries were divine. Perfect for a little treat.

31/12/2025: Excellent welcome. Even when all the tables were taken, the owners took our mobile number and didn't hesitate to call us back to let us know a table became available. Furthermore, the coffees and teas were delicious, as were the cakes, all in a cozy atmosphere! We had a wonderful time in this friendly place. Congratulations to the whole team!!! :)
