30/11/2025: Last night, I discovered a little gem. Imagine a welcome so warm I thought they were going to offer me the chair I was sitting in. The decor was modern and stylish, a bit like a trendy loft combined with the local restaurant, and frankly, it worked incredibly well. And then, the food… Not only was it delicious, but I felt like they'd mistaken my plate for a magician's hat: the portion was twice the size of what you usually find in La Rochelle. In short, a real culinary magic trick! In summary, if you're hungry (and want to eat well with a smile), go for it without hesitation. You're likely to leave with a big smile and a full stomach!

17/01/2025: I wanted to share with you my opinion on our recent invitation to the restaurant La Bergerie, organized by our mother-in-law last Sunday. At first glance, I expected traditional local cuisine, but upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised. The warm welcome from the management and the professionalism of the young waitresses immediately created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. What impressed me the most was the exceptional quality of the dishes. As a former chef, I am always on the lookout for restaurants that dare to think outside the box and highlight the freshness and quality of the products. La Bergerie was able to meet all my expectations. Each dish was a true festival of flavors, with surprising but perfectly mastered combinations. I would also like to point out that this high-level taste experience was offered at a very reasonable price. It's quite rare these days to find such value for money in a gourmet restaurant. In summary, La Bergerie is a true hidden gem. I strongly encourage you to go there with your eyes closed. You will not be disappointed, quite the contrary.
