06/04/2024: Our expectations were high after reading all the positive reviews about this restaurant.
We had a reservation for 10pm. Since our table was not ready yet, we had to take a seat at the bar. After 20 minutes we could go to our table. It wasn't until 10:30 PM that someone came to ask what we wanted to order. After waiting for a while, we saw that our drinks were ready at the bar, but no one took the initiative to bring them. After we spoke to the waiter again, we received our drinks and food at 10:45 PM. Food was okay, nothing more. Cocktails also but average. Have had much better drinks for less money. A positive point, the decoration and setting is top notch.
This restaurant is really overrated and did not meet our expectations at all.
03/04/2024: Very good for a drink because the place is magnificent... The restaurant is not up to standard: not very good, not very well served, rather expensive... and very noisy :(

27/03/2024: What a nice surprise ! We found ourselves in this neighborhood by chance, and the smell of spices invited us to this restaurant.
The dish we chose is very similar to an Ethiopian dish, but much more spicy. It was so filling that we had trouble finishing it.
A little extra for the very typical East African decor.

02/04/2024: Apart from the name there is nothing Moroccan!!! a very poor menu, tea served cold with very very dry and tasteless cakes! Rai music that has no reason to be, in short, the Algerians who open restaurants taking advantage of the fame of Morocco must stop this massacre!!!
27/03/2024: The staff is borderline unpleasant and the service is less than efficient.
When dividing the bill the waiter rounded up all the slices, not very correct.
Fortunately the food is very good and in large quantities.

01/04/2024: Very good dishes. Couscous was thin and not sticky, sauce and veggies very tasty, the meat wasn't just fat. Lots of flavours, people are so sweet and nice, really recommended.
30/03/2024: A small neighborhood Moroccan restaurant. We were there during Ramadan. Delicious and authentic dishes for adorable prices! Fast service and warm welcome. Nothing to say, I highly recommend!

A true Mauritius island restaurant - the food is just tasty and great. My children loved it, me too!

06/04/2024: Here is my assessment of my time with my family in this restaurant.
Strong points :
- Copious and tasty dishes: I ate really well, since the time I had planned to go there during a visit to Paris.
- Beautiful setting, well located.
Areas for improvement :
- The (non-)reservation system: arrived at 4 without reservation as they allow and above all, as mentioned on their site, we were made to wait outside under the pretext that people who had reserved were due to arrive - without knowing their arriving time. We were brought in, taking care to tell us that if those who had reserved arrived, we would have to hurry to make room for them. Perhaps we should think about systematically taking reservations to optimize services.
- The nonchalance of the waitresses: it doesn't look very professional to drag your feet, take an order n times without taking notes and without ever bringing back the requested drink. Maybe the day was complicated...
05/04/2024: We have already come 4 times because we live more than an hour's drive from here, a very good African atmosphere, copious and excellent meals! I recommend 100%! The taste and aromas are present, for me the best African restaurant in the region!

01/04/2024: The couscous is good unfortunately the welcome from Madame leaves something to be desired, Madame the boss, yes, don't just talk about money when you want an extra, Madame, we know very well that it costs money and don't make the customers leave at the door. addition when it is paid it is not done in a restaurant. I know of another restaurant at the same price where the welcome is better and the portions are more generous. And tea is offered. It's not correct at all, I won't come to your place anymore, sorry, although I know your restaurant, you shouldn't see customers like pigeons. And your sodas in cans are not at this price, they are in bottles normally I don't come back to your place and what's more I think your smile is not sincere I am not a tourist ma'am learn not to talk about money a customer at a meal
30/03/2024: In this ultra-touristy area where restaurants abound, it is sometimes difficult to make a choice. Guided by a tout on the steps of the establishment, we let ourselves be tempted. That's good, we're hungry, it's 2 p.m. and the restaurant provides continuous service! A pleasant restaurant, quiet at this time. Smiling welcome. we quickly take our order.
The egg brick is generous (a change from the mini-things served elsewhere). The merguez-skewer couscous that follows is excellent. Semolina, meats and vegetables served separately.
Cinnamon oranges for dessert refresh the whole thing. Note to the cook: the scoop of ice cream with the oranges is unnecessary.
In summary: a good establishment which manages to maintain quality cuisine and service.
To recommend.

31/03/2024: Recently I ordered Thiéboudiène (Senegalese fish rice) to take away and I was so disappointed that I threw it all in the trash. The rice is bland and sometimes crunchy and almost black in color. I think it’s rice that isn’t even from the day before the day I ordered it. The fish and vegetables are brown, as if they had been soaking for days in the accompanying almost blackish sauce. It’s really a shame; therefore, I do not recommend eating Thiéboudiène coming from the kitchen of this restaurant. On the other hand, the Yassa chicken dish deserves 3 stars out of 5.
29/03/2024: A very nice little street in the Marais. A small restaurant with charming decor. Excellent cuisine, with very generous portions. You have to go there without hesitation!
