02/08/2024: Today August 2 with a friend, our meal was excellent. The people who served us were very cheerful and pleasant. We had a free glass of champagne because soon they will be hosting in another area.. I live in Lyon but I will come back with pleasure.

24/09/2024: If the facade doesn't look like much, don't hesitate to book. The small room filled up in the blink of an eye. And for good reason… a warm, friendly welcome. A fairly simple menu, a sign of 'home' cooking. And, when the dishes arrive, we can only see the quality of the products and the enthusiasm of the chef to satisfy the guests.
Little advice: don't snack before going, you risk callous before the end of the meal.
For us, meals alone, à la carte.
• 2 goldfinches
• 1 Caesar salad
• 1 andouillette
• 1 raspberry bush
• 1 fruit salad
On the bill; 61.00 euros
Excellent value for money.

Don't hesitate if you are in the area, you cannot be disappointed.

10/09/2024: The restaurant is located in a very old, rustic building and the dining areas are attractively designed. The bar area is clearly showing its age and the armchairs are quite dingy. For the main course we had the Poulet de Bresse rotie. I really can't recommend this dish. You end up with a somewhat flabby chicken drumstick with little taste of its own. The side dishes were tasty, as were the tiramisu and the creme brulée.
24/08/2024: We were there to have a basic drink, in the end we ate there and it was great.
Quiet atmosphere, the servers are friendly and smiling, good value for money.
I had the truffle ravioli (excellent) and my partner had the chicken burger of the moment, a friend had the salmon tartare and another also had the truffle ravioli, plus each a dessert 🍨 and 2 coffees.
Very good times, speed of service, pleasant terrace.
We will come back. Don't hesitate 🌟

17/08/2024: One of those little restaurants that we don't make anymore. Top notch service and cuisine. Perfect semi-cooked foie gras! Monsieur Seguin's tomato with crispy crackers... Your taste buds are in awe... And what about the fish in its candied lemon sauce? The dishes are plentiful. The homemade seasonal aperitif makes you want to prolong the summer... In short, the boss doesn't make any fuss and we have a great time!

11/08/2024: A very beautiful address in the heart of Bourg-en-Bresse. Two menus to choose from with seasonal produce. Beautiful plates whose delicious flavors added to the pleasure of the eyes. The lamb was a treat, perfectly preserved. A killing. Congratulations to the chef for his cooking and thank you for the two small limoncellos offered during the coffees. The little attention that always pleases and ends a good culinary moment.

08/09/2024: The best of the best in Bourg if you simply love seafood!
We have known this restaurant for over 10 years now and we have always enjoyed it!
The owners are very friendly, Mr. in the "stoves", Mrs. in the dining room.
This is one of the best restaurants we know, so yes, quality has a price, well deserved in this case.
Importantly, the tables are spaced far enough apart so that guests have their space. The atmosphere is calm.
10/08/2024: I have passed this restaurant thousands of times without knowing what a gem it is.
I left the Bourg region, but I come back several times a year. And this time we got through the door.
We tried: bouillabaisse and basil sea bass.
Special mention for the rum baba, served with an extremely interesting choice of rum. We opted for the owner's rum and it was amazing... extraordinary.
Dogs are welcome, kept on a leash.
A wonderful moment. The owners are adorable.
We loved it, we will come back, that's for sure.
