11/11/2024: A perfect welcome, homemade food worthy of the great starred chefs. I HIGHLY recommend this establishment. Bravo to their professionalism and kindness.

19/09/2024: 2017-06-20 -I wanted something simple and tasty for lunch and was more or less thrown into this restaurant (Au Riche-Lieu) in the narrow alley. The staff were quick in their turnarounds and arranged a table for me at the small outdoor restaurant. -Ordered a fish soup which seemed to be served in a reasonable amount (5-6 dl). And with some accessories like toasted bread, grated cheese and aioli. Ate the fish soup in several places, but here at Au Riche-Lieu, they were the ones who succeeded best in toasting the bread so that it was crispy and tasty. The other restaurants burned too much so that the bread became harder than Swedish crusts. -So that puts the restaurant at the top of my list of places to eat in Cannes.

18/09/2024: This place took forever to get the simple things we ordered. Salad and charcuterie boards. I swear they made us wait because we were Americans. People came after us, and they food came out before ours. I had a party of 4 people. It was like 130 euro. The wood was very good. The service there is just the worst. I wouldn't recommend them.

17/09/2024: Eating without a reservation is sometimes very difficult. We decided spontaneously because they had a free table. We ate the menu for 18.90, the salad was great, the fish was unfortunately very dry and a small piece. Hamburger, pasta tasty. The fried calamari was not cleaned well and was bitter. For us, average as far as food is concerned. On the contrary, I have a very positive assessment of the waiter who served us, an older man, very nice. Greetings.

24/09/2024: Great ! 😸My friend and I loved it, lots of food choices, a treat! And I'm not talking about the desserts which are delicious! 🤓☝🏻Welcoming staff, calm and relaxing atmosphere, we took the lunch option. I recommend for those who are really hungry! 🤤

29/08/2024: Terrible service!!!I do not recommend this restaurant. In addition to the (non-existent) service, the food is not as good as before and the prices have increased. On August 27, 2024, at 12:30 p.m., I had lunch with my husband in this restaurant, where I was particularly disappointed by the service. A waiter, whose name I don't know but who has worked here for a long time, started talking in a very loud voice as soon as we arrived. Additionally, there was an error in our rating. When we brought this to his attention, his behavior was unacceptable. Despite our mention of wanting to file a complaint and leave a negative review, he clearly showed a lack of interest in our experience. His voice echoed throughout the restaurant. I have been visiting this establishment for 30 years and I would like to point out that the quality of service has deteriorated. The servers are unpleasant and the quality of the dishes is no longer up to par. I would also like to mention that another waiter, of short stature, was also rude before we called on the room manager, a tall man of around 40-50 years old. .

27/11/2024: Absolutely filthy vegetarian steak. We had to throw everything away. No steak, just two slices of tomato and a salad leaf. As a bonus, a sauce that is way too spicy. To avoid for vegetarians!!!! 21 euros in the trash

25/11/2024: Hello so I ordered on uber eat last night in the name of kader two menu 1 with guacamole but I had something else instead and cold cold fries The 2nd humberger was good but also cold so it's unacceptable To have all that for 38 euros anyway

22/11/2024: A customer of Parisian boutiques, I thought I would find the same quality in Cannes. What was my disappointment to taste a tasteless quiche, a pan bagnat style roll garnished "like an SNCF sandwich" and all this at the same prices as those in Paris. My unfortunate experience tarnishes the image of this renowned brand and it is a shame. The only positive point is the welcome from the customers who are worthy of this house.

21/09/2024: Very friendly and efficient waitress, I enjoyed my Milanese very well served, very good value for money. In addition, there is a pedestrian lane which avoids noise and exhaust gases.

14/09/2024: The location is nice! The food came in at different times. One of the dishes was forgotten for 10 minutes and came in when some of the party had finished eating. The half chicken was dry and poorly seasoned. We ordered crepes for dessert, which were also quite boring.

08/09/2024: Nous sommes allés pour un petit goûter dimanche à 6 . A peine bonjour en arrivant , commande 20 minutes plus tard , 30 minutes pour avoir 5 crêpes ( crêpes cassantes ) et pas servie en même temps . nous demandons des couverts et nous avons eux l’impressions de déranger. Et biensur nous nous somme lever pour avoir l addition Bref je ne sais pas s’il sont en manque de staff mais ces a peine un attrape touristes A fuir si vous souhaite passé un bon moment

24/08/2024: Kefta really not good and the rest is pretty good. Crazy to put a Greek in a baguette on the other hand and give salad without sauce

03/08/2024: We had dinner on a Thursday evening in August, the terrace was lively, a funny and cheerful waitress who made you want to sit at her table. We ate very well with our two toddlers, very well received although our children had difficulty sitting still. The boss is very helpful. The meal was perfect, especially the tartare on the menu. Simple and efficient. Stay as you are !

18/09/2024: Great atmosphere and that’s about it. I got the red tuna salad and it was ok. My husband got the Pasta Carbonara and it was awful! It had a bitter taste, if you go don’t order it. It the worst we had.

10/09/2024: We had an excellent evening thanks to the quality of service from our server Said. Very attentive, patient and always with a smile, it made us want to come back! Thank you to him and his team for this wonderful evening.

22/09/2024: Been coming to Cannes for 30 years and introduced dozens of clientele to this restaurant. Never been plain sailing on every occasion but nothing in life ever is. However, upon my arrival with my wife we decided to eat here. We ordered and our waiter was excellent but it was in between shifts and then we had another who was also very pleasant indeed. My partner’s food turned up and my very simple salad didn’t, fine! I asked and then 10 minutes later a meal turned up that I didn’t order. 15 minutes later after my partner had finished I said I didn’t want food as the moment had passed. I asked the manager to reflect this in the bill and he immediately threatened me with the police. Sorry is there a food police in France I don’t know about? This man was nothing short of demented, super aggressive and said he didn’t care for us or our custom. Lovely man. Like to meet him on a dark night down my road.

22/09/2024: Restaurant bien placé certes mais les prix sont abusés. 16euros un dessert waouh ….14 euros un cocktail encore waouh!!! Les plats sont bons. L’accueil est sympathique mais sans plus. Manque le sourire.

24/09/2024: We went to have breakfast for my husband's birthday, a very good setting, very friendly and smiling staff, a very large buffet, very copious, everything makes you want well done. We were greeted with a glass of champagne for the birthday.
