21/07/2024: Un très bon moment au Bella Storia! Nous avons été très bien accueillis. L équipe est souriante et dynamique. Nos plats étaient excellents. On recommande les yeux fermés 😉 À la prochaine, et belle saison à l équipe ! ☀️😎☀️

06/05/2024: Of course Cannes is something special, especially right before the festival. But as a normal guest the visit is disappointing.

05/05/2024: We loved our stay from April 30 to May 3, 2024. The hotel is magnificent, the staff is attentive to us. We will come back!

01/09/2024: Nous n’avions pas réservé , on nous propose de nous installer au bar le temps qu’une table se libère . Nous avons été servis et installés au bar avec attention . Il faisait chaud on m’a gentiment proposé un éventail et nous sommes passés à table assez rapidement . La carte n’est pas très importante mais appétissante.. Le cadre est top, l’ambiance est top et nous avons très bien mangé . Les prix sont élevés mais nous y retournerons occasionnellement . Merci pour votre accueil .

J’ai eu droit à deux morceaux de lasagnes qui faisait 5 cm de long sur 2,5 cm D’épaisseur. 20€ mon ami a choisie une entrecôte beauf Il a eu quatre petits morceaux on aurait dit les tranches de canard 120€ le plat Restaurant a fuir Foutage de gueule

26/10/2024: 20 años viniendo a Cannes, han estado aquí unas cuantas veces, bares mucho más agradables a lo largo de croisette, como Le Volier o 72 , donde el personal es siempre muy agradable! 50 euros por dos cócteles que no podíamos beber ya que eran como licores metilados! Cuando le pregunté si podía pedir algo más, el camarero se dirigió a una colega con cola de caballo, ella fue desagradable y condescendiente diciéndome que no podía pedir nada más, que había leído los ingredientes, y fue mi culpa por pedir, como si fuera estúpido! Estaba dispuesto a pagar por otra cosa. ¡Resulta que ella era la gerente! Nunca volverá aquí.

20/08/2024: We had 4 courses - the food was good albeit the bread is not the best. We asked for a wine menu as the menu we were given was it only by the glass I asked if we could order a bottle the waitress who spoke very good English said she would have to check and came back and stated they only serve by the glass so I ordered 3 glasses (which were very small) which cost 24 euros and my partner had 2 beers at 18 euros. At the end of the meal I looked around and noticed that 3 tables all had bottles of wine - they were all French, I called the waitress over and ask why we were not able to order a bottle of wine etc and she said sorry I don’t speak good English I didn’t understand which was totally in correct - please note they do do bottles even though they refuse to give you a menu

04/08/2024: Superbe endroit pour déguster des plats variés la planche de charcuterie était excellente et la sélection des vins est impressionnante même dans les palaces cannois la sélection n'est pas autant varié pour les vins. Le serveur en salle etait top ! Nous reviendrons à l'occasion

31/08/2024: Since the renovation the restaurant is really better, the dishes are very good and plentiful, there are even very good bubble teas. The service is really very pleasant, I highly recommend

23/10/2024: Déçu cette dernière fois, car on m'offre une pâtisserie et puis on me l'a fait payer en caisse, une petite douceur à 8€ soit 16€ les deux petites pièces, je trouve cela abusé, très déçu car leur couscous est toujours très bon. Mais ce type de pratique sur les touristes ok, mais j'étais un client régulier et j'envoyais beaucoup de clients de ma conciergerie depuis quelques années. C'est terminé aujourd'hui, je change de crèmerie.

01/09/2024: I tried Mister Pizza Cannes La Bocca on site and it's disgusting, the person who makes the paws uses a hammer, then the payment terminal, then the phone and then prepares the paw directly without gloves or having washed their hands. ..no hygiene standards in this Pizzeria. The Pizza comes out scorched at the end. With very little seafood. The frozen pizza from Leclerc and Carrefour is 1000 times better. I will never eat anything from this Pizzeria.

12/07/2024: We wanted to try the Riviera restaurant in the recently renovated Hotel Carlton, for our wedding anniversary. What a very frustrating disappointment from start to finish! We knew it would be extremely expensive, but would not have minded at all and would have been quite happy to pay if the evening/food had been enjoyable. Far from it. Having been shown to our table on the terrace and given menus, we were thereafter totally ignored by all waiters. In the end I had to ask for the cocktail list, as we had been looking forward to a cocktail apéritif. No-one came to take the order until I finally managed to catch someone’s attention. Exactly the same thing to order the food and wine - I had to finally beckon someone. All this did nothing to make for a relaxing evening! My husband’s choice of main course (lamb) was not available, neither was his second choice (pork). After at least 20 minutes the cocktails arrived, and a couple of minutes later the starters, leaving no time to enjoy the cocktail… So the starters had to be sent back, one of them to be kept warm. The veal, which my husband was almost obliged to have, was badly sliced by a very pleasant waitress, but who was self-admittedly ‘new’ - as several other young waiters seemed to be. When one is paying those prices, totally professional service is expected, i.e. NOT from trainees or stagiaires! The girl slicing the veal was actually at a disadvantage because by that time it was dark and there was very little light on the tables. A huge slice of fat was on the plate - and the veal was definitely not rosé. A very good chocolate desert. And 2 coffees at 15€ each….! How dare they??!! That was definitely an UNexpected price. It’s almost laughable.. Uncomfortable metal chairs, with no back cushion. The ‘old’ Carlton was so much better!
