26/10/2025: My mother ordered a cake a bit "last minute" (48 hours in advance when cakes apparently require 72 hours of preparation) for my birthday. The manager was accommodating by putting aside a cake initially intended for the window but a size for 6/8 people when we only needed a 3/4. When we came to pick it up we went straight to the checkout but no salesperson (even though there were 3 of them) paid for us, rushing to serve two other customers who arrived after us (maybe we weren't dressed well enough for Lenôtre, I don't know) I signaled to a salesperson and my mother called out to her, telling her that she had just come to pick up a cake that had already been paid for. My mother was surprised by the volume of the bag and the 2 boxes when she had only ordered one cake. The saleswoman says "maybe it's a gift since it's for a birthday", my mother insists "I'd be surprised, can we check the contents of the boxes?", the 2nd box contained the marzipan birthday plate for the cake. My mother is surprised that it's free but ends up accepting the bag and leaving. 2 hours later she receives a voicemail from the manager saying that we have to come back and pay for the plate, at 8 euros. Terrible service, a saleswoman who insists with her "gift" plate and the manager who comes again to ask us for the plate at 8 euros... my mother lives in Le Cannet and does not have a vehicle. She has better things to do than come and fix the saleswoman's mistakes. What a drop in quality. We are better served in an average bakery. (The cake was nevertheless very good).

07/12/2024: Very good pizzas. We took 1 st Daniel and 4 cheeses. It was hearty and the dough was very good. The salad was a little faded but that didn't take away from the taste. The welcome was warm. Nothing to complain about.

25/11/2024: Always read reviews before choosing a restaurant. I had a pizza, it really wasn't good. Too greasy, well loaded but with very poor quality products. At this price we expect better.

04/01/2025: El servicio fue un poco lento, pero por lo demás una experiencia placentera. Sin comida italiana, grandes porciones, todo muy competente. Muy contento y sin duda repetiría.

04/11/2024: Fuimos a cenar temprano, alrededor de las 17 h, que puede ser un momento difícil en Francia. Con s niño pequeño con nosotros, nos atendieron amablemente y había una silla para el bebé disponible. El servicio fue muy amable, profesional y oportuno. Comimos pizza y oh chico, ¡estuvo bueno! Sin duda volvería aquí.

13/09/2024: Vivimos localmente y hemos comido aquí varias veces; nunca decepcionado. Buena comida, porciones grandes, servicio agradable y precios justos. Además, las mejores pizzas de Cannes.

19/09/2024: Bad reception, shame for this good establishment. In fact, for more than 15 years, we have been customers of Barrière in Paris, La Baule, Deauville, Enghien and Cannes le Majestic, but it was the first time at Gray d'Albion and it is the first time , that we are disappointed. This is the lack of knowing how to appreciate and manage situations at reception. Our train was more than an hour late, after having spent more than 6 hours on the train, arriving in front of the hotel, the doorman deliberately turned his head and looked elsewhere while I went up the steps with the suitcases, immediately after he turns around, comes towards us and finally takes the luggage. (He saw us hesitating to go up the stairs). An event, certainly unpleasant, but insignificant, which could have quickly been forgotten, if it had not continued at the reception. Before our arrival, the hotel repeatedly asked me the time of our arrival and even when we arrived more than an hour late, we were told that our room was not ready (it was around 3 p.m.) and we still have to wait another hour. This too is not so serious, sometimes we can wait, but it depends on the situation, here we were really tired, after having indicated the time of our arrival, I was convinced that we would have the room ready for our arrival. That said, another customer arrived at the same time as us and got her room straight away. I tried to explain the situation to the person checking us in, but he was unable to come up with a solution, the other employee next to him even looked mocking at our displeasure. I had to ask for the manager. And here again total lack of empathy. She obviously, as if by chance, was able to find a ready room, but while trying to put the blame on us: we didn't see the email, that check-in is at 4 p.m., that it was impossible that the porter had not taken our luggage. So we finally got the room, which we were supposed to have, but the atmosphere was no longer there. Also no explanation on the hotel's services, but it's true that it was no longer necessary.

17/09/2024: Chez Belliard, il y a des tartelettes délicieuses and phénoménales. It also has delicacies as a place to déjeuner. Today I just had a very good coffee. The staff was overwhelmed by the many customers, but still friendly.

16/09/2024: Very famous, excellent pastry and pastries. Recommended for those who don't know. The Craquelin is a turie.

25/09/2024: Room 3/5: The room was nothing spectacular and it was kept clean, the first few days the air conditioning made the room quite humid so I was forced to turn it off. Service 4/5: Service was good even if not everyone in the structure was polite, although there was a young girl bar tending some nights, Chirine I think, that showed an amazing work ethic and that stayed late at the job even when her shift was done, just to help out. Location 5/5: The hotel is an 8 min walk form the city center.
