22/08/2026: Unwelcoming place, the staff is in terrible conditions. We had a raspberry crepe, and it was rotten and moldy.
Dirty place, glasses that tasted like rotten eggs, inexperienced waitresses. Not recommended.

25/08/2026: Unpleasant staff, especially the owner; when you call him, he pretends not to hear you, and the service is incredibly slow. Penne birata for €21, a quarter of a burrata, and a maximum of 10 penne—avoid it!

We ordered a charcuterie board for €14. When the bill arrived, we were charged €32 for an antipasto (charcuterie and cheese). When we pointed this out, we were told that we had made a mistake and had ordered the antipasto, which was absolutely not the case.
In addition to this bad experience, the service was particularly unpleasant. Very disappointing; we will not be returning.

27/08/2026: The receptionist was out of place and unpleasant. I asked her to seat me at a table, and she replied that it was reserved. I stayed until closing time, and no one came. The waiter was unfriendly. I asked him for bread, and he replied, "I've already served you twice." And to top it all off, he asked me how much I should tip—10% or more?

19/09/2026: What can I say about the reception from the usher, a very arrogant, unsmiling girl who seated us wherever she decided. It was 5 pm and we were there for dinner, so it wasn't full. There were three of us for a table barely 50 cm in diameter! The food is generally good, but the seating is terrible!! We were just passing through, but we went back a second time to try again, and it was a disaster. Again, we were seated at a tiny table for the three of us. We didn't stay this time.

04/09/2026: Greeted on the terrace, I pointed to a table, but the hostess asked me to go to a table in the back, under the loudspeaker. When I expressed my surprise at her disrespectful attitude, she told me I wasn't going to throw a tantrum over it 🤣🤣🤣 She was right, I went to Duke's next door; the service was friendly and welcoming!

11/09/2026: Ordinary food. The waiter was struggling with the lack of coffee and, more importantly, the bank payment issue he was told about when the bill arrived! Avoid this place; they're unprofessional and completely unoriginal.
06/09/2026: Made a reservation on the website for tonight. I didn’t get a confirmation so I emailed the restaurant asking to confirm two weeks in advance. No reply. We called twice including yesterday and talked to a staff member who confirmed our reservation for 8.30pm tonight (Sunday). We travelled from Nice to Cannes and the restaurant is closed! This is very poor customer service and disrespectful.

11/09/2026: A fantastic find in Cannes! Everything is homemade, from the pizza dough to the fresh pasta, and it really shows. The pizza and pasta were absolutely delicious, as were the homemade desserts. The service was warm and attentive. We paid only €40 for a pizza, a pasta dish, and a carafe of wine—excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back!
02/09/2026: I ate there at least three times a month for almost 14 years. Alex's pizzas are fabulous. An old-fashioned restaurant like we wish we saw more often. The complimentary aperitif before each meal is a rare find these days, but not here.
A place to try; everything is handmade the old-fashioned way!

05/08/2026: it bad , i’ve asked for the pasta to be cooked as i don't like it al dente , the pasta came not cooked and hard, couldn’t eat it, my daughter offerd me to have them and i can have her pizza, but unfortunately she couldn’t eat them either.
i told the gentleman that wasn’t cooked enough for me as i told the lady, he then said that’s how we do it here! very rude!
i’ve never experienced a customer service like this!
do not recommend this place
