Now, it's the little boy in me who thanks you for making my eyes light up in front of that metallic crushed ice machine that fascinated me. Thank you for undoubtedly contributing to my potential future diabetes by delighting my childhood taste buds with the many and varied syrups that I sometimes tasted for the first time in my life. Thank you for the peach syrup. Thank you for making me spend the two euros from the tooth fairy on a gratta keka on Saturday afternoons. Thank you for making me say a thousand times to my father, "The gratta keka is cold." Thank you for the drops of icy water that ran down the glass and splashed onto my burning feet along Boulevard Franck-Pilatte. Thank you for letting me play football on the Corsica Ferries departure ramp, with that little hut, the large pine tree sheltering it, and the sound of the ferries' horns announcing their slow departure as my backdrop. Thank you for giving me, now an adult, the reflex to get a scratch and relive all those memories. Thank you for everything and for the resilience to the cold that I developed, thanks to my time with you.

22/04/2026: A restaurant in my neighborhood that I'd been wanting to try, having never been before. I wasn't disappointed. The service was efficient, relatively quick, and attentive to customers. Good value for money. The cuisine was simple, with a limited menu, but the dishes were very good, even excellent. The staff was friendly and efficient. I recommend this place; it's very easy to get to, right next to the Saint-Roch tram stop.

11/01/2026: Hello, as a professional engraver I travel all over France, I can tell you that this place is great. I was able to taste the steak tartare and fries that the chef made for me with a lot of love. I really like this place.

17/05/2026: We came yesterday for a drink. My partner is in a wheelchair. The hostess was very pleasant, and with the help of a porter, we were able to enjoy a drink in this beautiful setting where a waiter also gave us a warm welcome. Well done to the team!

26/03/2025: Walked past this Cafe and just loved the look of the menu and the outdoor seating! The waitress was so honestly lovely and I ended up coming all three days that I stayed in Nice because I wanted to try more of the menu! Also a great place to sit outside and read a book. Pictured is the Croque Madame and the Salmon Bagel with a Matcha. I also had the Açai Smoothie Bowl. Honestly all three were great and presented so well. I would recommend the Croque Madame though, it was delicious and that salad is so fresh! If you want a good coffee and a meal, definitely recommend this Cafe. Be warned it will be pretty busy on a sunny day so get in early!

23/03/2025: Arriving at 2:20 p.m., we were seated at a table for four, even though there were five of us. We waited 20 minutes before ordering our drinks and food. The wine glasses weren't wiped, and the order was mistakenly served at 3:10 p.m. The missing dish was served 10 minutes later, cold and frozen, with no apology. The overall condition of the restaurant was poor: exposed sockets, signs of leaks in the ceiling, and the kitchen and restrooms were deplorable. Avoid! A warning to hygiene inspectors...

31/05/2026: Great food, but the terrible service ruined our final night in France. The chefs here are incredibly talented. The beef with ravioli and the seafood in bisque sauce were fantastic. Sadly, the front of house staff ruined the hard work of the kitchen. We were ignored for 30 minutes after being seated, while tables who arrived after us ordered first. No focaccia is served while other tables got served once seated. After finally getting our food (which came out quickly), trying to pay took forever. Two different servers ignored our request for the bill, and my partner had to stand up at the table like a beacon just to get someone to take our money. A simple meal of just mains and drinks dragged on for 2.5 hours solely due to staff incompetency. Instead of a nice final stroll through Nice, we had to sprint to the train station. Brilliant kitchen, but the service is lacking and is an absolute joke.
