10/12/2024: FUYEZ !! Scandaleux. Arnaque à fuire . quel que soit le plat choisi (viande à 300€) elle ne vous sera servie qu'avec un pomme de terre (pas cramée si vous avez de la chance) 1ère fois que je prends la peine d'écrire un commentaire à 0 étoile qui les valent croyez moi. couple dune 40aine d'années financièrement "capable" d'assurer une addition de + de 600€ je peux vous garantir que je n'y remettrai plus JAMAIS les pieds . ce message a pour but d'avertir . C'est une arnaque du début à la fin. quand nous avons demandé si une salade ou un accompagnement allait arriver on nous a refusé car il n'y en avait plus. payer ta viande 290€ et la voir arriver SEULE sans RIEN d'autre dans l'assiette . on a cru a une blague au début mais à en lire les autres commentaire je comprends que nous ne sommes pas les seules. désagréable en plus... je n'ai jamais vécu une expérience telle que celle ci . Horrible et hautains en plus . changez de métier si c'est pour accueillir vos clients dune telle manière. FUYEZ

23/11/2024: Прекрасная уютная атмосфера. Превосходная кухня, очень вкусно. Великолепный сервис. Если Вы соскучились за вкусным мясом Вам сюда. От центра Ниццы 30 мин езды на машине, но оно того стоит)

12/11/2024: Este restaurante entrega. Gran menú. Buena comida. Cenar por dentro o por fuera. Gente maravillosa dirige este restaurante. Finalmente encontramos una deliciosa Boulliabase en Villefranche. En el casco antiguo. Gran servicio, gran carta de vinos. Te encantará.

30/10/2024: Superbe petit restaurant familial sur la rue du Poilu, produits frais, plats délicieux et généreusement servis, rapport qualité prix imbattable dans ce coeur de village ultra touristique. Les tables en terrasse permettent de s'immerger dans cette petite rue à l'architecture de village italien, un vrai dépaysement. Le service est tout simplement au top, alors bien sur je recommande.

10/11/2024: Small, cute hotel. - Like something out of a movie! Very friendly staff - family business.

31/10/2024: We had room 5, a double room with a balcony. The room was excellent, very comfy bed, and the balcony great. There is a very busy road junction outside the hotel, which is loud at times.

28/09/2024: I can’t rate the food but the atmosphere was amazing with a lovely view. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat here because they refused to seat us outside even though one staff member initially said there was a table available for us. another very snooty person refused staffer refused to seat saying we were only allowed to sit inside. We left. We’ve been watching “our” empty table for over two hours from another restaurant on the hill while we spend over €300 on food and drinks . . We’ve seen no one go in or out of that restaurant in that time so I hope it was worth it. If I was the owner, I would be furious.. but maybe they only allow certain type of customers on the patio based on their discernment.

22/09/2024: The food was excellent, no complaints there, but the attitude of one of the waitresses really ruined our experience. Reading the comments below, I realize that I am not the only one who found his behavior very unpleasant. Maybe it's time for her to question herself. You seem like a very bitter woman, and having such an attitude towards customers who arrive a few minutes late is not the end of the world. It's important to understand that most of your customers are tourists and we are not local, so it may have taken us a while to find the restaurant. Additionally, this is one of the few restaurants I have seen refuse to accommodate a baby. According to her, I should have specified in my reservation that there would be a baby. I didn't know that a 4 month old baby needed a special mention, especially since she doesn't eat anything. She made a big deal about the stroller. She was just trying to get into conflict with us and make a big deal out of everything. When my mother suggested that she remove a chair so we could place the stroller, she didn't know what to say because she had no intention of accommodating us or finding a solution. As new parents, it has become rare for us to be able to go out to restaurants. This was one of the first times we allowed ourselves to do this, and I appreciate you ruining our experience just because you were frustrated with us being late.

07/08/2024: Accueil d’une gentillesse inestimable. Les propriétaires sont très serviables et sont aux petits soins pour leurs clients et ont été adorables avec notre petit chat.

10/12/2024: Very good evening with friends with quality service. Pleasant, funny and good advice server. We ate very well.

05/12/2024: undeniably the coffee and desert that we ordered were so good! great location too and many other nice places to see nearby. price was ok but I find it uncomfortable that the staffs has been looking at me several times. i don't know why they were doing that. it was very annoying

18/09/2024: Highlight of our trip to Villefranche thanks to Leslie, the setting & the wine on offer. At first we thought this place was an antique shop, then a wine bar across from an antique shop, then a wine bar that's part of a fantastic wine cellar with a cinema & an amazing hostess. We stopped by on 3 occasions & each was better than the 1 before. If ever there was a hidden gem then this is it - go there

20/10/2024: We got a pizza to go, pizza was good, service was friendly and the atmosphere was very nice and cozy

04/07/2025: we stopped here by chance after spending some time around villefranche. 2 of our friends were visibly not feeling well. no hi or hello, restaurant was close to empty and we were immediately sat down outside. the waitress came around and took drink orders in which we all ordered at least one. when it came to food, we wanted to split a pasta between two of us, and she told us it would not be possible and then wrote down 2 orders instead of just one, forcing us to each get a plate after we told her we are not hungry enough to each have a full 30 euro plate. our other friends wanted to split a pizza which she then said would be impossible and tried to force everyone to order their own pizza even after we told her we all just wanted to split and we each had ordered a drink already individually. we were then met with very rude remarks including her constantly telling us that we shouldn’t have come and that we should just stay at home. she was very aggressive which led to us canceling the order and leaving before having to put any hassle on the poor kitchen. she then grabbed all the menus from the table and essentially kicked us out while yelling down the street that we should just stay at home and cursed us out in french. we remained as civil and courteous as possible, but i would avoid this restaurant at all costs. i am even being kind now by not rating the food 1 star as we did not have any, but i stand firm in saying that the environment makes this place not even worth going to. as our waitress said herself, better to stay at home than eat here! there are much more friendly and nicer spots literally steps away from this place. avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be humiliated.
