31/08/2026: We bought pizzas from the vending machine in Barberey this Sunday and were very disappointed. The crust was hard, and all the pizzas we ordered had far too much Gruyère cheese and very few other toppings. The Gruyère doesn't melt when reheated; it just hardens. Carrefour brand pizzas are better and three times cheaper!

26/08/2026: Very average, a group meal with limited choices. The dishes weren't very flavorful, or perhaps just not well-prepared, I'm not sure... There was no effort put into the presentation, no effort to combine the flavors, and no particular culinary experience. It's a shame, especially with such a limited selection. The chicken was dry, the brownie was dry—in short, a mediocre experience. Luckily, drinks were included. Perhaps the dishes on the menu offer a completely different experience; unfortunately, I didn't get to try them, and I certainly won't.

22/07/2026: A huge disappointment. We came to discover Le Bougnat de Lolo, formerly Le Barabulle, hoping to have a good evening in what is advertised as a lively bar. First of all, I want to acknowledge the positive points. The manager has done a truly excellent job renovating. The decor is well done, the furniture is pleasant and even evokes the old Bougnat des Puilles. The establishment is clean and well-maintained, and you can tell that an investment has been made to give it a new identity. The staff, for their part, are smiling, polite, and welcoming. This is important to emphasize. Unfortunately, these qualities are not enough to compensate for the rest. The most incomprehensible thing is undoubtedly the concept of a "lively bar." Honestly, where is the atmosphere? No professional sound system, no mood lighting, no entertainment, no DJ, no musicians… even in the middle of summer. Today, it's difficult to understand what differentiates this establishment from a simple, traditional bar. When you choose to advertise a bar concept with a specific theme, customers have the right to expect something more. Then came our biggest disappointment: the cocktails. We wanted to order a Saint-Germain Spritz, but the bartender informed us that the establishment didn't carry Saint-Germain liqueur. No problem, these things happen. He then offered us a Hugo Spritz, which we accepted. The cocktails arrived… served in official Saint-Germain glasses. From the first sip, my friend and I exchanged astonished glances. The taste was nothing like the Hugo Spritz we're used to drinking elsewhere. We asked for an explanation. The bartender told us that the elderflower liqueur came from a box. We then saw him use a clear bottle, without any label, making it impossible to identify the brand. The result was a cocktail that was absolutely nothing like what we expected. When you pay this much for a cocktail, you have the right to know what ingredients are used and to expect a minimum level of quality and transparency. Another completely incomprehensible point: the QR code for accessing the menu doesn't work. It's impossible to view the drinks on your phone, and when we ask for a printed menu, we're told they don't have one. How is a customer supposed to know what's on offer and what the prices are under these conditions? What's most regrettable is that this establishment has real potential. The renovation is well done, the setting is pleasant, the terrace is inviting, and the staff is friendly. But I get the feeling that the manager doesn't grasp the importance of certain essential elements: the quality and transparency of the ingredients, but also the atmosphere. With proper sound systems, appropriate lighting, themed evenings, DJs or live musicians, especially during the summer season, this establishment could once again become a must-visit spot in Sainte-Savine. Today, I unfortunately feel that this potential is not being realized. It's a real shame to have such a beautiful establishment without giving it the resources to thrive. Perhaps it's time for the manager to bring in someone passionate about events, capable of injecting new energy, developing activities, and revitalizing this place as it deserves. For our part, this experience was a real disappointment. We will not be returning.

24/08/2026: Tasty Irish beers tapped the way they should be; the only downside is the Irish coffee with Chantilly foam. A delicious appetizer platter and super friendly staff, including the man with the flamboyant mustache whom I saw serving everyone, myself included, with a smile and without a single negative comment, even during my second visit at the end of August.

24/09/2026: This is the 25th time my mother has ordered. Tonight the fries and burger were ice cold, and the five wings were tiny—it's a joke! And today, September 24th, 2006, there was an order error: the panini was delivered with curry sauce, which I'm allergic to. The panini went in the trash, and they can't deliver it again. Just accept it and place another Deliveroo order; it's really that simple. After more than 30 orders with them, I'm done.

09/08/2026: Nice little spot, quiet, and the bearded gentleman at the till was very kind. The prices were quite reasonable, although kebabs used to be cheaper, but you have to keep up with inflation… Also, back then there was more meat in the kebab, and the competition has more meat too. If you can improve that, it's a straight 5/5! Thanks again to the whole team!

20/09/2026: We arrived around 10:30 am on a Sunday for breakfast and were immediately given a table with chairs outside on the street side. We enjoyed our time there: comfortably seated, the atmosphere outside was pleasant, as the location is very charming and ideally situated in the historic heart of Troyes (very close to the Rue des Chats). Our continental breakfasts were excellent: we highly recommend it, thank you :) Eglantine and Laura

02/10/2026: I don't understand why Quick isn't more popular; it's just as good and efficient as other fast food chains. I recommend it; you won't be disappointed, especially if you order the rustic fries and/or the cordon bleu burger.

02/10/2026: I really want to leave a very, very positive review for Nolan, who works at Quick. Someone like him deserves to be praised and recognized! Nolan is lovely, always smiling, welcoming, and very professional. He takes the time to properly care for customers, with great kindness and respect. You can really tell he loves his job and does everything he can to ensure customers have a good experience. His welcome, good humor, and attentiveness truly make a difference. It's so pleasant to encounter someone so friendly and dedicated to their work. 👏 Well done to Nolan for his professionalism and kindness! He sincerely deserves to be commended by management. Employees like him give Quick an excellent image. I will definitely be back, and I hope Nolan knows that his work and attitude are truly appreciated.

10/09/2026: Honestly, it's a disgrace. A pita the size of a phone is unheard of. Tiny portion and disastrous value for money. When you see some of the positive reviews, you wonder if they're even genuine. If you're looking for a good kebab in Troyes, go somewhere else.

05/09/2026: The place is clean, the kebab meat is excellent, the portions are generous, and the staff are helpful and friendly.

28/06/2026: Convenient location, close to the centre of the old town. Cheap parking nearby (the hotel parking was full). Good sized room, with great AC which was necessary given the heat wave. Though beds were extremely hard. Decent bar.

27/08/2026: Very disappointed. I ordered an espresso Martini and it was very poorly made, served in the wrong glass, the proportions were off, the presentation was terrible, and it was awful. Disappointed... I would have preferred to have been told that this cocktail couldn't be served at this time of day. (In the photo, I've already drunk a little from the glass, but anyway, it was only half full ☹️) For the price of the cocktail, frankly...

10/05/2026: Our stay at La Maison de Rhodes was an enchanting interlude in the heart of Troyes during a sporting weekend getaway. Nestled in a former Templar residence, this 5-star hotel elegantly blends the authenticity of its timber framing with contemporary refinement. Our spacious room, with its exceptional bedding and generously sized bathroom, guaranteed excellent comfort. The intimate, heated outdoor pool area was a haven of relaxation for a sunny afternoon. Dinner and breakfast, prepared with local products, delighted our palates. Finally, the warm welcome and helpful advice of the staff, who even took care of our reservation at a local restaurant, truly charmed us. An exceptional address, where history and hospitality come together perfectly. We will definitely return.

18/02/2026: Magnificent setting, ideal location, friendly welcome, comfortable room. The only drawback, and a significant one at that, was the breakfast: for €32 per person, you only get a croissant, a piece of bread, and a rusk so hard you could break your teeth on it. And when I dared to ask the young woman serving if it was possible to have a second croissant, I was curtly told, "No, it's one per person! We order them according to the number of guests, and it's one per person." And of course, she didn't offer me anything else. Needless to say, as soon as I left the hotel, I stopped at the first bakery I saw. In short, as someone accustomed to five-star hotels and Relais & Châteaux properties, I felt like I was in a run-of-the-mill youth hostel! This was my second stay at the Maison de Rhodes (the first must have been in 2018 or 2019), but I don't recall such a mishap, otherwise I obviously wouldn't have come back. But now I've learned my lesson: never again!

09/08/2026: This restaurant offers very reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in the area. The food is good, the only downside being the Chaource lasagna, which was served in too small a portion, and the pizza dough, which wasn't exceptional. But everything is homemade, and it's very good... except for the desserts, which were a bit of a disappointment. The crème brûlée was very good, but the desserts in the "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) seemed mass-produced, as did the chocolate fondant. We still recommend it if you're passing through Troyes.

14/08/2026: A breath of fresh air in this wine cellar! The new manager is friendly and full of helpful advice. He'll cater to your preferences. If you're looking to explore beyond the usual wines, let him guide you. I've had the chance to make some wonderful discoveries since he opened.

22/09/2026: Huge bar diner in the middle of Troyes - very popular with the locals. We stopped for drinks after visiting the nearby church, very good value as it was “happy hour” - sat and watched the world go by for a bit. It was quiet when we were there, but this place gets very busy in the evenings.
