26/01/2024: Impeccable hygiene, fresh food (fish) of high quality even for a cook like me. To be frequented without moderation. Ordered a mixed paella again for Tuesday evening. And what's more, the decor is nice. Philippe Henrion, craftsman in Troyes. I personally went to Spain for 15 days in April, I ate two paellas. Well the paella at the bodega was better. You have to understand that in Spain, we are considered tourists above all.

03/04/2024: Restaurant visit on April 2, 2024 evening. The meal was excellent, we enjoyed ourselves. Average price per person in the evening (a menu plus aperitif) 25 euros.. the carpet on the floor is not new but the atmosphere and the food are worth it.

07/05/2024: Passing through Troyes in an Airbnb…..order placed and paid at 8:45 p.m.……delivered at almost 10:30 p.m. after complaint…..the quality matches the delivery…..to avoid!!!

I was able to rest and wait for my train without judgment with my husband.. thank you 🙏 the prices of the salty dishes are correct but the salad a little excessive. All served with cutlery 🍽️ The staff is friendly. On the other hand, the toilet does not work, we have to pour a bucket of water after use.

Miscellaneous facts and justice Administrative closure of a restaurant in Troyes due to hygiene problems DECEMBER 26 AT 6:06 p.m. Following a report and after inspection by state services on several occasions, the establishment had already been closed between October 11 and December 5, 2023, communicates the prefecture. “A new inspection was carried out as part of monitoring health measures. Following this new inspection, Cécile Dindar, prefect of Aube, took the decision to urgently close the restaurant “Maï-Lan” located on Place Jean-Jaurès in Troyes. Pests, hygiene, traceability… State services indicate that they have noted: the presence of pests, defects in cleaning/disinfection of premises and equipment, defects in maintenance of premises, lack of mastery of good hygiene practices, defects in the traceability of foodstuffs, defects in cleaning/disinfection of utensils, machines, containers or instruments; the absence of microbiological analyzes and defects in food storage temperatures. “These numerous shortcomings present a serious danger to public health leading to risks of contamination and development of micro-organisms,” estimates the prefecture. The closure measure will be lifted as soon as the establishment meets the standards in force, after inspection.
