08/05/2026: Really nice place to eat both the cook and the person attending were incredibly nice and the food was exceptional. I cannot eat gluten and they offered gluten free options. 100% recommended
07/05/2026: Excellent spot. You can tell how fresh everything is. All homemade pitas and falafels too. Some of the best falafel I’ve ever had. Great option to stumble upon—and it’s open between lunch and dinner so you can get something mid afternoon unlike a lot of other French restaurants.

20/04/2026: This international bookstore, located opposite the Hôtel de Caumont, is a real gem! It's very well-stocked with English-language books, covering all genres of fiction—novels, comics, and manga—but also academic works, travel books, law books, art books—in short, you'll find all kinds of books at Book in Bar! And the opportunity to enjoy a coffee and cheesecake amidst the bookshelves is fantastic! A must-visit!
03/04/2026: I was looking forward to it after seeing reviews saying there were Korean books, but there weren't many. The atmosphere was nice, the staff were friendly, and the scones were delicious. They come to take your order once you're seated. You pay when you leave. I couldn't take pictures of the foreign books because they were expensive even though they were thin. There is also a restroom on the second floor.

27/04/2026: Average food, limited menu, clean restaurant, good host / server.
The food was served hot and with good presentation. The taste, quality, and portion size were average. The menu is small, and all of the dishes came with the same two vegetables.
The host / server was very charming and tried to make each guest feel welcomed
Overall, a nice but average meal.

We couldn't access the hotel with a horse van – the hotel offered no solution.
We were charged for our room and forced to find another hotel.
Double whammy! Appalling, they refuse to refund us, no apologies.
29/04/2026: The hotel is very well located in Aix, close to all amenities. It has been tastefully renovated and, above all, the staff are wonderful, from the housekeeping to the dining room and reception staff. They always have a kind word and a thoughtful touch! It's the only hotel I've stayed in so far where everyone is so incredibly friendly.

02/04/2026: We went there for lunch, the three of us. We're French students in Aix-en-Provence and we're from Spain. The woman who greeted us was absolutely lovely. She was very attentive, taking into account the wind so we could be comfortably seated, and she was also very patient with us since we don't speak French very well yet.
The food was excellent. I had a pear hot dog, which was absolutely delicious, and some fries to share. I highly recommend this place if you're in Aix-en-Provence.

07/04/2026: Found this nice little bar along one of the streets. A nice welcome by the staff and seated promptly. We came around 6 and the kitchen only opens at 6pm. Huge variety of drinks available. Prices are reasonable and comfortable seating area with nice chill vibes. Will return next time to try the food.
27/03/2026: The perfect place for an evening with friends or as a couple. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, you feel right at home! The staff is welcoming and attentive. My friend, who is gluten-free, even got gluten-free bread ;) Fantastic!

In short, a great time.
18/04/2026: We went there for the first time to eat. The meal was good, but we sat on the terrace. We found it rather unclean: the seats were full of crumbs, the flower vases on the tables were dusty, and the parquet floor wasn't clean. It needs a bit more cleaning to make the place more pleasant.
The first floor was much cleaner.

17/04/2026: Hello, thanks to a Wonderbox voucher given to us by our children, my wife and I had lunch today at "Le Novo". The ravioli and chocolate fondant were excellent. The service and welcome were top-notch. The owner kindly offered us complimentary aperitifs. Thank you for everything.

A feast for the eyes and the taste buds, choosing from the menu was difficult, but we weren't disappointed; on the contrary, we're eager to return and try everything.
Our cocktails were delicious. I didn't have time to take a picture of my dessert—my sweet tooth got the better of me! But I can guarantee you won't be disappointed by their chocolate mousse!
The whole team is lovely; we had a wonderful time.
