10/08/2026: This candy shop is beautifully organized and has various candies and chocolates, which you can select from in bulk, or from pre-packaged items and mixes. My favorites were the candied rose petals, and the almonds covered with chocolate and cherry marzipan (I think), and the hard candy mixed bag. The person helping us was kind, patient and able to explain items to us in english (as well as how they have been coping through the heat waves). A lovely visit for a taste of unique French sweets. This was a great place to get some gifts for friends at home, too!

15/09/2026: I was out and about in Pau and wanted to stop at a café to cool off because of the heat. Since I was in the Leclerc supermarket, I stumbled upon this café that offered Bubble Tea (I love it!) and I ordered a peach one with cherry pearls. It was super delicious and incredibly refreshing! 😊 I also got some gluten-free cookies that I saw on display at the counter when I paid. I was so happy to eat them because they were so excellent! Being celiac, I was thrilled to be able to eat something gluten-free and homemade in a café, so kudos 👏🏻 to whoever made them because they were amazing with my Bubble Tea! Thank you so much, I'll be back! 😍✨

04/07/2026: The welcome was quite pleasant, the place was very nicely decorated, and the open-faced sandwiches were delicious. I had a lovely, relaxing time. Constructive criticisms: the granola bowl could have been spicier, in my opinion. And the elderflower black tea could have been diluted a bit more; it was a little too strong. 26/08/2026: A great wine bar in the evening, with a fantastic selection of wines and delicious tapas. It can get very busy, so you might need some patience – but the staff still take the time to offer friendly advice.

08/08/2026: The quality of the food is mediocre compared to other nice places in the neighborhood. I had expected more from this, given the number of good reviews, unfortunately. The dishes offer nothing special or new. Some of the staff are lazy and not very friendly. Good for a light bite to satisfy hunger with wine, but not for a fine dining experience.

27/08/2026: We ate at Brasserie Spot yesterday at lunchtime and had a wonderful time! The all-you-can-eat baby squid was simply incredible, a real treat. A big thank you to the waitresses who were lovely, very attentive, and kind throughout the meal. As it was very hot, they even offered to turn on the air conditioning so we would be more comfortable. Even our little dog was welcome, which was really great 😊 Everything was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the welcome was warm. We will definitely be back!

We were thrilled to have finally found our haven, but then we learned they were closing on June 13, 2026. Thanks to the Biarritz town hall for forcing them to close...🤬 Go enjoy these flavors before they close! The staff is incredibly kind and always smiling. Thank you to our waitress this evening! 🙏🙏
