16/01/2026: Positive points: the owner's warm welcome with a handshake is quite rare these days. The food was delicious and the portions generous, the waitress was very pleasant and smiling, and you can tell she loves her job and her customers. This little country restaurant has a wonderful charm. I really love its rustic and charming feel with its pebbles. I love the intimate atmosphere. In short, everything was perfect! My friends were delighted. I would gladly return. Oh, I almost forgot, THANK YOU for the marshmallow bears—I loved them! If you want to have a good time in a relaxed and unpretentious atmosphere, this is the place to go. Thank you to them.

21/11/2025: The decor is a bit dated, but it has its charm. The food is simple but good. The service is quick and friendly. A restaurant worth the detour and makes you want to come back.

22/03/2026: We did a quick stop for dinner. We order dine in, it was a small order. A happy meal, a burger and large chips. There were two orders waiting while we were ordering. As we finish a large group came up a ordered individual take aways. As we were waiting for our order we realised that the individuals of the take away were being served before us, even though they ordered after us. It wasn't just one or two. At least 4 take away orders got dispatched before our order got brough over.

15/03/2026: Between the drive-thru oversights, practically every time, and the astronomical prices that have skyrocketed year after year at the expense of appalling product quality, I prefer to go to one of the burger restaurants (near the cinema or Barthou...) which, for the same price, sells fresh, flavorful food. McDonald's, you need to rethink your prices; they're disastrous for what you get. And as for the customers, think about it. For the same price, several burger restaurants in town offer fresh products.

10/03/2026: They finally brought back the goat cheese wrap 😍 but goodbye to the 280. Still as good even despite inflation.

14/03/2026: Another order gone wrong! I often order double filet mignon and arrive home with only one fish in the sandwich! I'm not sure it's part of the contract to have to open the sandwiches before leaving to check if everyone is doing their job properly!

05/03/2026: I'm a regular; the food is excellent and the pastries are very good, especially the cookies. Everyone is very friendly and it's inexpensive compared to other places. One of my favorite spots in Pau.

02/04/2026: Hello, I came to get some kebabs without a reservation because it was impossible to reach them by phone. The man took my order on the spot, but an hour and fifteen minutes later, I received three kebabs with no vegetables, just meat, and it cost me 50 euros! Even though it's supposed to be the best kebab shop in Pau, the service wasn't the best I've ever experienced, and consequently, the kebab wasn't the best either. Very disappointed! 😞

25/03/2026: Legendary place. A must have place to visit. Refik is the one and only chef to make such a delightful food. Pay him a visit!

02/03/2026: This small pizza shop is one of the few things you will find open in this area this time of year on a Sunday evening. Pretty much takeaway for us - pretty small inside. The shop focused on pizza - they have several styles from the local basque, traditional and then pizzas from around the world. They have a number of wines, soft drinks, and even a local cider in their cooler. We were unsure of French pizza BUT - fresh ingredients and a great deal of love make for great pizza, and that's what you find here. The lady running the shop is multilingual, quite the charmer, and she makes a good pizza too! We went with a local basque flavor to try some of that famous ham - good call. Would do again - definitely recommend.

01/02/2026: I'm very disappointed. I bought a King Cake on Thursday, and I specifically asked the saleswoman if it was fresh that day; she assured me it was. But by the evening, the cake was already inedible, completely hard and dry—a disgrace! I can understand that it might be a day or more old, but then they shouldn't charge full price (€28) and should make that clear to their customers. I won't be back!

25/02/2026: I rarely go to this bar, only with my friend Carmen, but the food is excellent, the cuisine is fantastic and very affordable. The staff is incredibly helpful and, above all, always smiling. As for the clientele, often regulars, they are very welcoming, just like the bar itself. They even say hello if they don't know you! A true hub of activity and conversation... not to be missed! Don't forget... the food is delicious, and if the sun is shining, you can eat on the terrace... pure bliss!
