18/11/2025: The bakery wasn't very clean (see the ceiling). In the summer, there were bees on the pastries, which were served with the hands—no tongs, no gloves. The employees were friendly, except for one or two who were very rude. I won't be going back.

09/11/2025: I ordered a cocktail, but the waiter said it wasn't convenient because it was busy... Okay, never mind, a freshly squeezed lemonade please, but still no, they didn't have any. We finally asked for a Perrier with a slice of lemon, and miraculously, the lemonade reappeared... The area is worth visiting for the view of the Pyrenees, but for a drink, you have to go elsewhere.
18/10/2025: Excessive prices and disappointing drinks We ordered two Cokes and two mojitos: €37 in total… really excessive. The mojitos had very little alcohol, a lot of water, and no flavor. Fortunately, the view is beautiful; it's the only positive aspect. It's a shame, because the place has potential, but at that price, you'd expect much better.

26/12/2025: The fries weren't even lukewarm, and the cheddar on them was cold! The burger was barely lukewarm too, and when we asked why the cheddar was cold, they haughtily told us it was normal, that's how it's supposed to be served! Honestly, it was terrible! I'll never set foot in that place again. I'd rather go to Burger King, even if it's further away!
22/12/2025: First review in 2022: Every time I go there (it's the closest one to my house) it's a disaster! At least two items are missing from every order. They get lost when they serve. They represent fast food poorly. Update in Dec 2025: My daughter got a dog toy in her Happy Meal!!! Unbelievable!

17/01/2026: I'd been waiting at the drive-thru for a while. They asked me to wait before taking my order, no problem, I did. Then another car arrived and I was served immediately. When I told the woman in charge that it wasn't normal and that I was going to another McDonald's, she just replied, "Oh, I used to come here often, but I won't anymore. I'd rather drive an extra 10 minutes and be served than come back here."
09/01/2026: Dear Mr./Ms. Franchisee, are you aware of what's happening at your establishment? Who is responding to the numerous negative reviews? A communications manager, the director (who isn't the owner)? It's shameful to have so many negative reviews and still not lift a finger to improve the dramatic situation of your business! And stop responding with your stock phrases and treating your customers like idiots. Get moving! You're not a professional, you're an amateur. Here's my experience: I hadn't been there for years because the price was far above the quality offered. I came because a friend had arranged to meet me there for a meal, but I wasn't at all enthusiastic, knowing what I would expect. In short, I've noticed that prices have indeed continued to rise (the franchisees' excuse: raw materials have increased significantly. True to some extent, but yes, it's true, they shouldn't make any effort by cutting into their margins; McDonald's franchisees and others are in it to line their pockets. This isn't a company that thinks about its customers, but rather its enormous profits, hahaha :) ) Secondly, McDonald's claims to be a FAST-FOOD restaurant.... hahahaha :), but no, they should change the name to SLOW-FOOD! The days of being served in 3 minutes are over; now it must be 15-20 minutes on average. Add to that staff who are often not very friendly, order mistakes, and a lukewarm meal for 30% more money. Having worked at McDonald's a few years ago, I observed the staff working that day, and frankly, I was shocked by the lethargy, the lack of professionalism and energy. The worst part was that the manager was just like his colleagues, even though he's the one who should be setting the pace for his team. In short, times have changed. McDonald's isn't what it used to be. It's a shame we're no longer in the good old 90s, without the self-service kiosks, with one of the crew members lined up in a row taking your order, and who were incredibly fast and efficient! I wonder what McDonald's France is doing. Do they read the comments? Are they taking any action? Anyway, I'm really glad Burger King is back in France, shaking things up a bit, and stealing a lot of customers from McDonald's, which doesn't seem to be reacting, a bit like Free, which shook things up and woke up the three big telecom companies who were getting fat as pigs and resting on their laurels with their exorbitantly priced internet and mobile plans! In short, it's been years since I last visited your place, and I think the next time, if there is one, will be a very long time from now, or never. Conclusion: MR./MS. FRANCHISEE: WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!

11/11/2025: I received a very warm welcome from a charming, smiling saleswoman with a Canadian accent. The raisin bread is delicious, and their Basque beret cake is amazing. Their baguette (the festive kind?) is of very good quality. I'm surprised by the other reviews...
12/10/2025: Excellent croissants 🥐 and loaves of bread 🥖. It's one of the two bakeries we frequent when we visit Saint-Jean-de-Luz. The stock sells out fast from early morning, and from midday onward, it's hard to find anything but a regular baguette. The same goes for the pastries.

19/09/2024: We have been coming for several years and unfortunately we can see the deterioration of the exterior and interior buildings. Damage ! The location is ideal. High price considering the service.
11/09/2024: The positive points of the apartment were undoubtedly the bed, certainly a little hard but very comfortable, its proximity to the seaside and the calm, no noise to be deplored throughout the night and complete darkness in the early morning! On the other hand, it was impossible to run the dishwasher, the VMC did not work either, so the bathroom was very humid and there was no shower siphon. The smell was more than unpleasant when we arrived. No maintenance or utility items in the kitchen area, no sponge, dishwashing liquid, tea towel, The elevator is broken in our building.

27/10/2024: If on the slate easel it says AT THE HAPPY HOUR BAR THE PINT OF GUINESS €5 and when you are served at the table it is €8 But when the online menu the pint of Guiness is €7 and not €8 as I paid! That’s a big difference and the 3 different prices for the same pint of Guiness still smell like a calculated scam! And everyone accepts because these shameless unscrupulous traders take advantage of the fact that people no longer discuss these scams, because they come there to spend a moment with drinks where the family and no one wants to make a remark for fear of spoiling the evening for all ! And what’s more, €1 doesn’t seem like it but it’s money and €3 difference means 60% more for the same consumption! You will appreciate seeing how “at the Bar” is written. Palois consumers should not let this happen! Even in Paris they respect people more

20/03/2024: Le cadre de vu est super. Au bout de 50min d'attente nous avions décidé de partir, à ce moment là la jeune serveuse arrive avec nos plats. Nous lui faisons remarqué avec courtoisie bien entendu qu'on s'apprêtait à partir. Au lieu d'avoir une réaction professionnelle c'est à dire une excuse au minimum. Sa réaction était insolente. Choqué nous avions préféré de partir sans causé de heurt. On ne vous parle l'absence des salutations de courtoisies, des sourires. Mais surtout quand un client renverse une bouteille d'eau et se casse au sol. La jeune demoiselle se met à rire moqueur et ne ramasse même pas les verres. C'est impensable. Donc ce restaurant est A FUIR.
