19/02/2026: Good evening. I'm writing this review with a rumbling stomach, and the service left much to be desired. I've never experienced such a complicated order-taking process at the drive-thru. I think the person was on a work experience placement; I was served four fish burgers instead of four cheeseburgers, despite the 15-minute wait. I didn't expect mistakes to happen. However, I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me sparkling water instead of Fanta. Despite all that, you still manage to add an extra charge for late-night orders! Well done, McDonald's Gerland, you are officially the worst McDonald's in Lyon. Sincerely, I won't be back, not even under threat. Avoid at all costs!

25/11/2025: I'm a loyal drive-thru customer; the service is usually quite fast, but this is the second time in a row in just a few weeks/months that I've been served unpleasant drinks, and these were two different ones at that. They're completely diluted with water—unacceptable!

27/01/2026: A very bad experience. Access to the restaurant is dangerous in the rain: the road is poorly maintained, water pools and creates large puddles that overflow onto the sidewalk, making the ground extremely slippery. As a result, my boyfriend's car broke down because of the water. A young waitress was very kind and professional in agreeing to help us, but unfortunately, the owner refused, showing no consideration for the situation. It's a shame that a lack of exterior maintenance and understanding completely ruins the experience. Customer safety should be a priority, especially in the rain.

25/01/2026: I went to the drive-thru at 7:17 PM. I ordered one Big Mac, one order of fries, and one Croque Monsieur. They forgot to add the Croque Monsieur to my order, so I was told I had to go back around the drive-thru to place another order! Not the first time I've been disappointed.

28/02/2026: The worst bar in Lyon, both in terms of atmosphere and service, which is abysmal. Shots were watered down, and the beer was mediocre at best. Book your platter well in advance; it's prepared by the restaurant next door! Thank goodness Uber Eats delivered! The waiter was about as helpful as a suitcase without a handle. The only redeeming feature might be the history of the place, which is unfortunately misused.

09/03/2026: I ordered from the drive-thru, and the staff were incredibly rude, not even a hello or goodbye. The food wasn't even packaged properly; the bag of fries was only half full and unsalted. Disappointing.

23/06/2025: I grabbed a croissant when I didn't need one so I could sit down for 30 minutes at a table to work while I had an appointment at another store. The waitress came to me as soon as I got my laptop out, to kick me out because I hadn't paid at the cash register "on the premises." I couldn't get a refund for the croissant, or ask to pay the difference between the cash register and the takeaway. So I left as if I'd been accused of being a thief. No humane gesture from the waitress, no "solution" from the salesperson. He hadn't told me there were two options; that's a mistake that happens, no problem. But on the other hand, when you work in a service industry and forget to serve people who are honest and willing to pay, that's a problem. 1/5, I will never go to any Paul's again in France or abroad. Too bad I travel a lot, so sandwiches at the station were fine.

07/03/2026: Honestly, a very good experience for me. The equipment was recently replaced, and the kitchen is much quieter than before, which is very pleasant for the customer! The team served us quality food, well-made sandwiches, and perfectly followed procedures. Everything was hot and served to order—kudos to the team! It's honestly much better than it was a year ago! The only slight downside was the restrooms, which were a bit questionable in terms of cleanliness. Please pay attention to this part of the restaurant! Apart from that, the parking lot, dining area, counter, and kitchen were all clean at first glance. It was great! From a manager, it was a pleasure to eat at your establishment!

27/02/2026: I went to the drive-thru yesterday after a concert (11:30 pm), and I want to emphasize that I was pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the server who took the orders, there was no wait, the sandwiches were perfect (which is quite rare for McDonald's), nothing was missing, and they weren't cold.
