09/07/2026: Good experience: the food was good, and the staff and manager were friendly. As someone who loves peace and quiet, I appreciated coming when it wasn't very busy. However, many people ordered takeout, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food.

27/08/2026: We have come here for several years on holiday and have greatly enjoyed the café. Indeed, the dishes are good, well-seasoned, and there is a good variety. The welcome is always warm, and this year we were fortunate enough to be served by Rabab, a very professional waitress who does everything she can to satisfy the customer and succeeds brilliantly.

30/07/2026: A truly wonderful discovery! The portions are generous and the dishes are absolutely delicious. It evokes the authentic taste of yesteryear, like the comforting home-cooked meals our grandmothers used to make, prepared with high-quality ingredients. The welcome is warm and the decor, typically Alsatian, is magnificent and full of charm. The prices are perfectly in line with the quality and generosity of the portions. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

27/07/2026: A charming, old-fashioned restaurant in the historic Neudorf district. The building has a real history. The interior retains its original character, and there's a small outdoor terrace shielded from the sidewalk by a partition. It has a bit of an old-fashioned neighborhood bistro feel. They serve tarte flambée as well as about ten other dishes. The waitress, who is also the owner, is a bit direct but still friendly. Since I was dining alone, she offered me half tarte flambée, allowing me to try two. Both the traditional and the garlic and chive versions were excellent. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was also good. Prices are more than reasonable. An excellent spot in Neudorf for tarte flambée.

15/08/2026: The service was very pleasant. However, the food and flavors were poorly combined. We wanted to order a bowl for health reasons, but it was swimming in oil and poorly seasoned. It caused digestive discomfort.

29/07/2026: An excellent place to enjoy a delicious, high-quality poke bowl. It's takeout only; there are no tables in this small shop. There are many good places to buy poke bowls in Strasbourg, but this one is my favorite thanks to the generous portions and excellent quality of the ingredients. The person taking orders is very friendly. I always prefer to order on a screen, but I imagine the limited space doesn't allow for that.

10/09/2026: A wonderful discovery! We had a fantastic time at Le Bon Vivant. The food was delicious and the service was truly excellent. A big thank you to the waiter for his kindness, smile, and pleasant service. We happily recommend this place and will definitely return!

27/08/2026: A very good restaurant in a busy, touristy area. Their cordon bleu, especially the one with Munster cheese, is to die for and has made us fall in love with this dish again! Other very good specialties include the excellent potato galette.

08/09/2026: One of the best bars in Strasbourg. Excellent for watching matches or simply having a drink or a meal.

06/09/2026: On the terrace, you're now penned in behind barriers; the terrace has become ugly (not to mention that the atmosphere under the giant parasols that remain open regardless of the weather is deafening). The terrace/sidewalk combination used to be lovely; it made you want to stop; that's much less the case now.

30/07/2026: We wanted to get a drink during a bike ride and were turned away, as they claimed only served food. The place wasn't full, and we might have ordered a snack as well. Very disappointing, very arrogant and unfriendly. They probably don't need the business. We can't comment on the food.

16/07/2026: For us Alsatians, it was the "Fuchs am Buckel" of the 1960s, an institution. We went there to try their tarte flambée with a large mixed salad: excellent. If you're looking for a romantic atmosphere on the terrace, this is the place. The garden overlooking the Ill River is beautifully landscaped, and the staff is friendly. Two points to note, however: a limited selection of beers and a somewhat outdated website. We'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

16/08/2026: Very good, but disappointed by the hygiene and Uber Eats! The food was very good, but I was unpleasantly surprised to find two hairs when I opened my order. As a result, I couldn't finish it and had to throw away the affected items. To make matters worse, Uber Eats is refusing to give me a refund. This is unacceptable in terms of hygiene and customer service. A real shame.

28/07/2026: I ordered delivery through Uber Eats, so I can only rate the food. The tuna looked strange and smelled bad. Clearly overcooked. The salmon wasn't bad, but it wasn't fresh either. The maki rolls were clearly made by someone very amateurish and careless. Irregular, rough cuts and poorly sealed with seaweed. The rice was also too sticky. Even the ginger leaves had a strange, slimy color. The tempura was soggy, indicating it had been fried a long time ago. We expect to get sick. I don't recommend it. Anyone who handles raw food should be responsible to their customers.

19/09/2026: I had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant without checking the reviews beforehand: a big mistake. The service was impeccable: the two waitresses were lovely. The setting is also very pleasant with a beautiful terrace. However, the food experience was very disappointing. For starters, we shared a gratinéed tarte flambée. For an Alsatian attached to his local cuisine, if we overlook the red onions (instead of the traditional yellow ones), it was perfectly acceptable, without being exceptional. The main courses were a nightmare: The sauerkraut with fish: far from the classic recipe (haddock, turbot, monkfish, and a proper butter sauce), the dish consisted of a simple salmon fillet, a white fish vaguely resembling cod, and smoked salmon simply placed on top of the sauerkraut, which caused it to cook from the heat. The cabbage, meanwhile, was completely tasteless, and the sauce was more like butter swimming in water. The frog legs: a total mismatch, masked by an excess of oil, garlic, and parsley. I couldn't even eat half of them. To top it all off, the bread served was 100% store-bought, a detail that's so easy to fix. A place I wouldn't recommend for its food.

10/09/2026: I went to this little restaurant on a Thursday evening, midweek, sitting on the terrace at 8 pm, and frankly, I received a very warm welcome from a lovely young blonde waitress. I stopped specifically to have sauerkraut, and I can tell you, it was delicious! The service was impeccable, the food excellent—frankly, nothing to complain about. And the best part was that I had a view of the cathedral while I ate!
