19/09/2025: Excellent Lebanese caterer and restaurant. I love it and highly recommend it.

21/07/2026: A lovely, shaded terrace. The service was really pleasant; Lucile was smiling and very professional. We ate well and quite quickly. I highly recommend this place, which is only 200 meters from the cathedral.

14/07/2026: Wonderful views of the cathedral on the terrace. The server helping us let me try the white wines before ordering a pichet to find the best one for me! We loved the escargot and the potato galette. Absolutely phenomenal, kind service.

30/06/2026: Things got off to a bad start with no greeting from the waiter. We ordered two cocktails, which were fine. I asked for a carafe of water as well, but received no response. The waiter arrived with a glass of water. I asked if it was possible to have a carafe, and was told no because "we're in a bar, you have to buy drinks to make money." I turned my head and saw two tables with carafes of water. We decided to order a small snack, and then I added, "Since we're ordering drinks, could I have a carafe of water, please?" I received a dirty look, followed by, "We don't serve carafes, only glasses of water." I replied that I had seen two tables near us with carafes. The response was, "But they're ordering drinks," and the waiter left immediately. I didn't even have time to reply. I reminded him that it was over 30°C (86°F) and that I had just ordered a cocktail AND food. In short, the starter arrived with the carafe of water (finally!), but it was defrosted, not good, and clearly cold. To top it off, the waiter remarked, "I hope to see you behind the barrier one day." I asked him what he meant, and he was talking about seeing me serve people in a restaurant, unaware that I've worked in the restaurant industry and have never refused anyone water. And even if I hadn't worked in restaurants, when it's hot outside, you don't refuse your customers a carafe of water. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

03/06/2026: Was a day of heavy rain showers ...so I popped in ...I asked for fish and chips ...no fish and chips ...awwwe I had chicken tenders ..water and a coffee ...18 Euro...I thought it was great value . Waiter has a specific charm ...he could be part of a comedy act ... Brightened up my day ..

19/07/2026: The food, like the pizzas, is excellent; everything is homemade. The owner is very friendly. We go there regularly with our family and we're always delighted.

28/11/2025: A very good experience. We came as a couple and it was a real treat. The portions were generous, with beautiful cuts of meat that were perfectly sauced and served with a generous amount of fries. The desserts were also very generous. The prices are high, especially for the desserts, but they are justified by the quality and quantity of the food. We will be back.

08/07/2026: We stopped by for lunch during the heat wave. The staff was friendly and helpful, and accommodated our two exhausted children. Food was tasty and a good representation of Alsacian cuisine. We left a small backpack and the server chased us down towards the cathedral to return it. Great spot to stop while visiting this city.

18/06/2026: We were disappointed with the pizzas. The crusts were very hard and the toppings lacked flavor. Overall, we found the pizzas quite bland. We honestly expected much better.

05/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Casa Père et Fils. Everything was perfect from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious; we ate incredibly well! The setting is beautiful, with a lovely, well-appointed terrace, ideal for enjoying sunny days. To top it all off, the service was absolutely impeccable: the team was welcoming, friendly, and very professional. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

26/05/2026: What an amazing meal from the set menu. The prawns, beef, duck, etc were totally amazing but I’ve only got a photo of the gourmand …. Superb! Brilliant service.

20/05/2026: I had the set menu (starter and main course) for €12.90. The atmosphere was pleasant, the starter wasn't amazing, but the main course was absolutely delicious and generously portioned. I recommend it for a quick stop!

28/07/2026: Excellent place for drinks and food, with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The room is small and surrounded by brewing tanks. There are board games and books available, the service is impeccable, our child was even served a meal, and we could enjoy our beers in peace and quiet. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy a cozy moment near the cathedral!

27/07/2026: We were very surprised on Saturday, the day of the big street market in Strasbourg. We had a reservation for 1 p.m. and expected it to be packed at that time... Not at all, it was empty; we were the only customers. The decor is unusual, with old copper beer vats. Otherwise, the place is rather dark. The service was average, but the staff were very polite. We ordered craft beers (made with plums), which were very good. We also had two tarte flambées and a burger and fries. Very satisfying! The portions were very generous. It's a shame there was no dessert.

04/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery! We went there for lunch today with colleagues and we loved it. As soon as you walk through the door, you immediately feel at ease: a warm welcome, a friendly, family atmosphere, like being invited to a friend's home. Marie is in the kitchen with so much passion, and it shows in every dish: it's generous, full of flavor, and prepared with love. Her husband is just as lovely and contributes to this atmosphere where you truly feel comfortable. It's the kind of small restaurant that makes you feel good, a real haven where you enjoy sharing the meal as much as chatting with the people who welcome you. A big thank you to you both for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

10/04/2026: A lovely little Parisian-style café! I pop in occasionally for a morning coffee and croissant when I'm working nearby. The owner is friendly! In short, I like it!

12/07/2026: Honestly, 5 stars well deserved! Excellent chicken cordon bleu, generous sides, generous sauce, air-conditioned dining room, fast service—what more could you ask for?!

09/07/2026: Horrible evening! We waited an hour and a half for water and cocktails. It took almost two hours for our meals, including the sides but not the main courses. After we pointed this out to the waitress who seemed confused, the owner came over and told us we'd arrived at 9:05 PM instead of 9:00 PM, in front of all the other customers. In short, it needs improvement!

05/05/2026: Good value for money, the waiter is friendly! There isn't a huge selection on the menu, mostly pork dishes! Since my husband doesn't eat pork, that's a shame, and I don't think the seating is very comfortable; the furniture is old and should be replaced to make it more comfortable. We were also cold while eating! The dishes are very well presented, homemade, and very good; we'll definitely go back! 😉👍
