20/10/2025: Both the foie de gras and the Simmental were almost perfect. The Angus cheese was also excellent, according to my companions, and the burgers were also apparently excellent. Tiramisu was optional, not mandatory, and a bit unusual. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I'd happily return and definitely recommend it.

16/04/2026: Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. Good food. There were a few mosquitoes that bothered us while we ate.

15/04/2026: As a family of four, we received a very warm welcome and the food was excellent...so much so that we went back two nights in a row! 😉

31/12/2025: Great experience, we had lunch on the riverboat. We were traveling with two children, and it was winter. Very welcoming atmosphere, very friendly staff. Excellent food, with a children's menu available for €12.

28/12/2025: We went there to eat on the water. It was a wonderful discovery. I chose the fish soup, the shredded duck, and the chocolate cake. Everything was delicious, and the price was very reasonable. The view is magnificent, and the owner is very friendly. I recommend it without hesitation!

The products are high-quality, local, and delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salin de Giraud. See you very soon, that's for sure.

16/10/2025: If you're looking for typical, authentic cuisine in a casual, relaxed atmosphere, great value for money, and an outstanding host, then Christian is definitely the right place for you. His wife, Hélène, is in the kitchen, and he looks after his guests with his inimitable style and passion. The fact that the diners were primarily locals and regulars speaks volumes. We were there for two consecutive evenings at the beginning of September and will definitely return on our next stay in Arles. Once again, a big thank you to Christian.

02/04/2026: We ate here and the dishes were delicious; however, the service was slow. They forgot the bread, and there was a considerable wait between the appetizer and the main course. And the bill was even worse.

02/04/2026: I have not arrived yet but I have received a mail from the hotel announcing me that Saturday and Sunday night there will be a DJ in the court playing music from 18h00 to 24h00! They also written me that they will provide me with ear plugs at my arrival!!!!!! Really!!!

28/04/2026: On the road to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, we found a restaurant with very pleasant service and delicious, generous portions of food. We enjoyed a large bull tartare—absolutely amazing! 🤪 It was served with fries cooked in beef fat (not even greasy) and a green salad. We were eyeing the large slices of homemade dessert, but unfortunately, we were too full. Thank you for the quality of the food. We will definitely be back!

28/02/2026: A wood-fired oven that's as beautiful as it is delicious. A warm welcome, right in front of the fireplace. Just the kind of place we love: simple and delicious.

21/03/2026: March 2026 Very friendly service, even though I only ordered pho and ice cream. Having just returned from Asia, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal—the soup was excellent and piping hot! I would gladly return!

07/04/2026: I called earlier in the day to inquire about prices, clearly explaining when I would be coming and how many people were in our party. The man on the phone assured me of a certain price for the evening. When I arrived, the woman at the register doubled the price, assuring me that the price the man had given me was for lunch. For a restaurant displaying images of the Virgin Mary and paintings of Christ, ripping off its customers is really poor. I'm very disappointed; being so stingy won't get you anywhere. Also, I asked the wok cook for the chef's sauce, and he gave me a spicy sauce, which wasn't great either, especially considering they charge for waste.

04/04/2026: My stomach hurts so much!! I'd barely finished, the toilet was unclogged, and the atmosphere was zero.

08/04/2026: I chose the restaurant. There was plenty of space and it was practically empty. We ordered two Coke Zeros and two Margherita pizzas. After discovering that both cans of Coke Zero had expired two years ago (they tasted strange), we felt uncomfortable while waiting for the pizzas. If they serve expired drinks, how much can you trust that the food is still safe? The hygiene also left much to be desired. My glass wasn't even clean. Despite everything, the pizzas were still good. Hence the 2 stars. We didn't notice it at the same time. We only realized it when we drank from them. They initially wanted to charge us for it until we pointed out that they smelled bad... but

21/03/2026: Made us sit outside with the mosquitoes when no one inside, everything had been sitting out for atleast an hour, and the water had hair and bugs in it. The food was cold and flavourless and we had found several hairs in the food. Looked nothing like in the pictures. Chicken was also not cooked all the way.

10/01/2026: An attempt at originality in the starter and main course, but disaster struck with dessert: the little cakes in the "café gourmand" were stale! Yuck! Like the other tables, we left them after the first bite.

08/01/2026: We were very pleased by the restaurant, the food, and service. The price for the 55euro 4 course meal was excellent. The atmosphere was upscale and quiet. The quality was very high, similar to french haute cuisine. The decor is very Arles-based, with the queens of the city adorning ancient walls of the dining room. I highly recommend it!

06/11/2025: The open wood-fired oven provided both ambiance and welcome warmth on a stormy autumn evening. The head of the family enjoyed a lively chat, and the daughter was attentive to the welcome and service. The atmosphere was good. The pizzas were less than stellar. They were well-baked but lacked spice, and the Emmental made them heavier than necessary.
