These are brought back to the counter and I see the manager pour the two glasses into a pitcher which is brought to the table. On arrival, contents equivalent to two glasses of 12.5, therefore a scam...

26/11/2023: The nicest hotel in Arles!!It's one of my favorite hotels.This hotel is in a historical location. Staffs are friendly and helpful. The rooms are very quaint and clean. I stayed there about 10 years ago and it was so good that I came back. We stayed in the same room, and I was happy to see that it hadn't changed at all. It's in a good location in the center of the old town, and the cafe that was the model for Van Gogh's "Night Cafe" is right in front of it, so it has a nice atmosphere. The atmosphere in the hotel was good, the rooms were clean, and the furniture was very nice. Also, all the staff are friendly and very kind. You can choose where to have your breakfast: outside on the terrace, in the restaurant, or in your room, so we had it delivered to our room. I'm glad I was able to eat slowly. There is also a bar, making this hotel a great place to relax. I would like to visit again.

18/03/2024: For the first time in my long experience as a gourmet who is very respectful of professionals, I regret having to publicly criticize what I found on my plate yesterday at Lou Marqués. First of all, I should have been warned that the pan-fried foie gras announced in the recipe for the revisited pot-au-feu on the menu would be missing. It's the least you can do everywhere, but not in this case. Then the appearance of the clear broth dotted with bites of mash should have been contradicted by the tenderness of the beef cooked long. It was not the case. When, wanting to believe in a temporary distraction, I asked for a second marrow bone, in this prestigious room I was served a section taken from the flared end, almost entirely calcified. A bone to gnaw in some way. To err is human but a restaurant associated with a 5-star hotel should not allow it to persist in such a direction. This "revisit" was really not worth the detour but fortunately the quality of the service was better and the bossa nova snack at Jules César was much tastier. Thanks to Mathilde and Rémi 😃

30/03/2024: I usually come and I find that the quality is declining. In addition, I have the feeling that I was cheated on the salty bill because when I asked for the detailed bill he gave me a note in which each dish was described but without the price of each of them. This is an institution going wrong.

21/03/2024: I have come several times and never been disappointed! A real treat. Whether it's couscous or tagine. Not to mention dessert! Excellent and plentiful dishes. Friendly waiter with a lot of humor! A very good moment. Highly recommended!
