05/09/2026: Excellent atmosphere and food, I highly recommend it.

27/08/2026: The place is nice, that's all! Today's menu: spicy chicken skewers. The meat was very, very dry, overcooked, and served with fried potatoes that were just okay. At the next table, a couple, very disappointed with their meal, were exclaiming, "It's a pain to pay for such mediocre food!" That says it all! I had the same thought. I'll eat somewhere else next time.

18/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! The Angus beef skewer and the octopus duo were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The service was quick and the staff very friendly.

16/08/2026: Distressing behaviour from server completely ruined our night. ​I would much rather leave a good review, and I genuinely sympathise with how stressful working in hospitality can be, but this meal was an absolute disaster and completely ruined our night. ​We ordered two bottles of wine and the starters were actually delicious. After that, everything went downhill fast. ​We both went for the 45 euro set menu and picked the same main. Even though we asked for separate plates, they brought out what was clearly just one single portion for the two of us to share: one skewer with six miniature pieces of beef, two tiny carrots, and a quarter of a potato. For that price, it was a joke. I brought it up with the waiter, but he basically just shrugged it off with a quick sorry and did nothing about it. They also completely forgot the cheese course until we had to ask for it. ​The biggest issue, however, was the behaviour from the lady serving. To be fair, she was perfectly pleasant whenever she came to our table. It was like she put on a mask the second she stepped outside. What she clearly did not realise was that everyone on the terrace could see and hear everything happening inside. She was screaming at her coworker, throwing menus at him, and kicked a bar stool across the floor. We could hear her crying from our seats outside, and when I came out of the toilet, she was visibly weeping by the till. It was awful to see someone in that state, but having that level of volatile conflict happening right in front of diners and families with young children sitting at adjacent tables was totally unacceptable. ​Her behaviour created such a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere that it completely killed our evening. We ended up paying the bill, leaving our wine on the table, ditching dessert, and heading to a nearby bar just to get away from it all. Good starter, but an utterly dreadful experience.

There you'll find Gabriel, a warm and welcoming host, accompanied by his father, and a chef who elevates traditional dishes to new heights. The portions are generous from appetizer to dessert, ensuring a pleasant and convivial experience. If you're like us, you'll want to return twice to try even more dishes on the menu. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're ever in the area.

23/05/2026: Thank you to the young manager and his father for the warm welcome at the pizza oven; the pizza was excellent. The chef was fantastic, as was the waitress. We'll definitely be back!

11/09/2026: Food was good but nothing amazing. Service was very bad with a young lady incapable of doing her job. We would have been better served by a robot. Not even hoping that she could politely smile but at least looking at the customers would be a good start. A robot would have done a better job. Other customers around us made the same experience. On the positive side, we received the bill from another waiter, who seemed to be genuinely sorry to hear about our bad experience and he apologised very professionally.

14/08/2026: The Bistrot des Plantes offers a food service. On sunny days, tables are set up outside in the main square, and there are a few designated for drinks only on the sidewalk. When I asked if it was possible to have a drink (there were free tables on the sidewalk), the waiter curtly replied that it was time to eat. This is deplorable, and for this reason, I will not return to this place. I did sit down anyway, since there were other customers. I do not recommend it.

25/08/2026: Strategic location for traveling between Provence and the Camargue. Welcoming and clean accommodations. And Domino the dog is affectionate with guests! Breathtaking sunsets!

21/08/2026: Having just arrived in Arles, we went for a late dinner and were lucky enough to find no tables at two restaurants, so we came here. It's a family business; they're very quick, efficient, and friendly. We loved all five different dishes we ordered. The quality-price ratio is unbeatable.
