26/01/2025: Mini stay in Angoulême with my 11 year old daughter welcomed like a princess! A huge thank you to Estelle for her warm, generous and caring welcome as well as to the team who went out of their way to make this stay a delight. Thanks also to the equally adorable and attentive restaurant team (Samih is a gem). In addition to this general kindness, the hotel has a library where you instantly feel at home. The pleasure of playing a vinyl chosen from the selection available, the possibility of borrowing a book and the impeccable service of a much appreciated coffee and hot chocolate upon our arrival. Until the end the feeling of being pampered. Thank you and looking forward to coming back ❤

26/01/2025: everything was super nice, and especially the welcome and kindness of the reception. You should say more about parking so that we can reach it when arriving without having to find parking nearby.

22/11/2025: We regularly return to this establishment when we're shopping nearby. We're always pleased with the food, the portion sizes, the service, and the overall experience. Today's special was Alsatian-themed. The sauerkraut was very good, but there were other options available.

12/10/2025: Super convenient restaurant in the Leclerc market. Very professional and friendly service. Good quality dishes and desserts. Very affordable prices.

15/12/2024: Rather a fan of traditional French cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised! the crepes are good, soft and tasty. Less than 20 euros with a kir and a scoop of ice cream. I will come back.

26/08/2024: Restaurant chaleureux et convivial. Les propriétaires sont très commerciaux et serviables, je recommande vivement. Très bonne cuisine et service rapide malgré notre grand nombre de personnes car nous étions 16 personnes à ce repas.

17/09/2024: L'endroit parfait si vous voulez être mis dehors comme des malpropres par un type exité et surtout frustré de ne pas savoir ni pouvoir gérer sa gargotte. Nous étions une table de 6 et voulions simplement diner. Au bout d'une heure d'attente, personne n'avait daigné prendre notre commande de boissons. Un de nous a lancé : "si personne nous sert, on s'en va". Et là, le "patron" déjà très énervé (un client avait demandé à faire réchauffer son plat) car on l'a vu et entendu frapper violemment son pied dans la porte de la cuisine, nous crie en tapant fort sur son comptoir : "barrez-vous". Voilà voilà... Que rajouter ???!!! Ah si, j'ai été aux toilettes 🤢🤮 et je me dis que ce monsieur nous a finalement rendu service en nous jetant dehors, ils sont immondes !

01/09/2024: What can I say apart from the presence of cockroaches which, according to the reviews, have been there for many weeks. We stopped for an aperitif (9 euros for a 25cl beer and a glass of white wine, but let’s move on…). None of the employees seem shocked by the presence of pests, it must be recurring. This is the first time I've seen this. The icing on the cake with I guess the manager telling us that we shouldn't have paid. It’s a little late when the customers are already outside sir… in short, flee!

25/01/2025: This bar is legendary! Glad it's here new on its feet and refurbished. The welcome is warm, the cuisine tasty and the service friendly... Also looking forward to the resumption of Sunday brunches! 💖

23/01/2025: We have just experienced a lunar situation. This had never happened to me in my life in a bar. We stay in the bar for 30 minutes while having two drinks. One of the waiters comes to serve us a cheese board that we hadn't ordered. We thank him warmly for this. After all, a cute puppy had just gone to the bathroom next to our table and was eating his feces to clean up. Thank you for the smell. We then naively thought that this gesture was linked to this astonishing situation. After several minutes, his colleague told him that the board was not for us and told us that we should not have consumed it. We are a little stunned and decide to leave. The waiter asks us to pay for the board and we refuse. He tells us to leave with our good conscience. Thank you and forever.

05/07/2025: Thank you for this birthday party for our son Thibault. Perfect welcome from the owner and 5-star service from Thief and his friends. Truly, I've rarely seen such a good atmosphere at River 102.

04/07/2025: A setting that's still as pleasant and peaceful as ever, but unfortunately, the service is mediocre and, above all, outdated. €19 for "prawns" cooked over a brazier, but what you're actually getting is 6 barely cooked mini pink shrimp. Exorbitant, uncompetitive prices, and limited selection; I don't recommend this place.
